Beware of the mimic in the dungeon! (Patreon)

Mimic is such a common monster you can find, but as long as you keep your guard up and watch what you are opening, checking if you’re facing a real treasure chest or a Mimic, you should be fine, right? But sadly, this guy in this comic wasn’t’ keep enough guard and look what happened to him… He is just a newbie to his adventure career path here and he decided to go into the dungeon, trying to beat some weak monsters to leveling himself and maybe get some of the monster’s materials to sale it to the adventure guild, but just how lucky he was, he wasn’t even at the deeper floor in this dungeon yet and he ran into a rare monster, it’s called as a Mimic Guy… Oh no!

Just as the name said, this Mimic Guy is a mimic chest monster but also got a big body under its chest form… So they can pull out a kick and punch if needed but the dangerous part is the chest head of it, lot of creepy tentacles grabbed the poor rookie guy and pulling him in! It’s trying to pull him into the chest! No! This is bad, he don’t want to be pull into that chest, who know what will happened to him!? But even he tried to fight it, he soon find out he can’t overpowering it, it slowly overwhelming him with countless tentacles and soon, the Mimic Guy able to pull the poor guy into the chest and closing it, locking the guy in there… And inside, the guy can feel a lot of tentacles are creeping all over him as if it is trying to do something on his body but what is it? And why he feels… He feels less and less of himself? Like his body is shrinking, wait!? Is it trying to digest him!? No!!! Someone, help!!!

Luckily, there’s someone nearby, another adventurer like him but much more experience to deal with things around, and he just walked right after the Mimic Guy pulled the guy in! (But he didn’t saw it… If only he came a little faster) And because the Mimic Guy is busying with its prey, it didn’t notice the new adventurer, giving an opening, the new arrived adventurer knew this monster is hard to deal with so better strike when have a chance, he unleashed the best attack and you know what, it’s one-hit-defeat! Lucky shot, the Mimic Guy got defeated, the chest part broke into many pieces and the body part melting into sand, but something wrong, normally Mimic will leave a gold coin when you defeated it but this time, it’s a weird toy doll… It’s the rookie guy, turned out not many people know that Mimic can pull a living creature into it and turn it into various things and this Mimic just turned the rookie guy into a toy doll! Sadly even the new adventure quickly defeated the Mimic, it is still too late for him, his body already got transformed, he can’t move, or talk, and this adventure didn’t know about him so he probably think he’s just a doll, so… What’s next now?

Guess we’ll never know, maybe the new adventure should take the doll back, at least, it is weird and he seems to not into it but he should just take it back to the guild, someone else there might figure out what really happened and help the rookie guy or someone at the guild might wanting to buy this… And use it… Ugh, maybe not? So, I guess it’s up to the fate now what will happen next to the rookie guy, so, good luck! And hope you enjoy this, I’ll see you guys again real soon!
