Living together with Redd until the day you can turn back… (Patreon)

I’m in the mood for drawing a comic about Animal Crossing series, at first, I was thinking about Tom Nook but, you know, a tanuki is fine and all but I kind of like Redd better, so, let’s draw something about him, even it might not make sense at all! LOL!!! Okay, let’s do this!

We starting the story with Redd waking up for the new day, but what is this, look like he didn’t wear his usual blue apron, instead, he wearing an underwear now, look comfy enough but why? Did he decided to change or there’s something he have to wear this instead? And why his underwear looking a bit like, a person face? To be fair, kind of like the mayor of the town he’s in right now, did he just use the mayor’s face as a reference to make this underwear? For fun or something like that, is it?

Nope! Turned out, this is the real mayor, not sure what really happened but sounds like some accident happened and it been a long while now since the mayor turned into this form, Redd is now taking care of him, Isabelle making a deal with him and asking him to keep the mayor safe until she can find a way to revert this changed, Redd even surprised why he agreed to this, this is not like him at all but hey, I guess it’s okay, Isabelle said she’ll pay him a lot so he can do that, all he have to do is wearing the mayor around to make sure he don’t get lost somewhere, simple enough!

But you know, Redd used to think it will be fun, wearing the mayor around but the fun is only last for the few days, he is bored now and really hoping Isabelle will find a way to turn the mayor back soon, but for now, he have to focusing on his own work, he planning to clean up his shop today, you know, throwing something he don’t want out, making the item in his store easy to find and buy for customer, something like that, and because there’s a lot of works to do and he’s alone, he ended up sweating a lot, causing the poor mayor to have to absorb the sweat all day, he’s just a piece of fabric now after all so it can’t be help, but surely he’ll turn back soon, right? Isabelle is working really hard all days until now so she must be really close to find the way, the mayor knew all he have to do is just to wait a little longer, just a little bit! He very sure it won’t be long! Am I right?

Just then, the phone started ringing! Someone calling and Redd quickly took it, it’s Isabelle! Yeah! Did she find a way to turn him back? But turned out, bad news, Isabelle needed more time but she did discovered that from now on, it will be hard for mayor to stay sane so she giving a call for a warning, just a little more, please stay sane until then! Good luck Mayor! Look like the mayor life with Redd will still going on and bit longer, and that’s all! Hope you enjoy this and I’ll see you again real soon!
