The EU has a new security law that Patreon will be coming in line with this month!

European Union Strong Customer Authentication

On September 14, 2019, E uropean U nion patrons may see an additional authentication flow when pledging. This will be from their bank and will appear when adding a credit or debit card, or pledging to a creator.
