Here is the September Patron Poll. Regardless of the voting on the migration question (damn… not calling it that again, that sounds far too political) I will make this my first priority next month and I hope to continue posting this and then ending these polls quickly so I can This poll will end on the 4th.
Because Heroes of the High Seas will return in September, I also have to choose which poll it will join. Once more, I use https://rolladie.net/ and I create a nine-sided die. 1-3 is the Patron Poll, 4-6 is the HP Poll, 7-9 is the Ranma poll.
PLEASE NOTE: this does not match the priorities in September. I generally wish to wait to see which fandom wins the Patron Poll to decide which will be the next poll to be finished.
Huh… It rolled a 3.
So Heroes will join this poll. Neat.
The choices for September are:
Climbing Together – Ranma/KoF/Street Fighter crossover: Battered and feeling the sting of defeat as well as their various wounds, Mai and Shampoo are reconciled to their various injuries by Ranma’s taking care of them for a time, resulting in a truly glorious time for all. Ranma’s thoughts when away from the girls, however, are somewhat red-tinged, thus when they eventually get to Manila after several days at sea – interspersed by several random events - Ranma goes hunting for more than just a place to keep the toughness training going. While this doesn’t lead anywhere, as Vega is not after them once more just yet, having his own issues, Ranma’s search and the girls own efforts to go unseen work out well. Shampoo decides to try and get in touch with one of her countrymen who proved to be honorable back in China, while Ranma calls E. Honda, and Mai makes new friends/rivals. A tournament occurs, which eventually pits Ranma against Shampoo in the final match, leading to a massive influx of cash, a new area to set up for their toughness training, and Mai needing to make good on a bet much to both Ranma and Shampoo’s delight.
Death’s Avenger – HP/WoW Crossover: The War in the snow escalates as the Troll Shaman with the power of a god and access to saronite pushes his force out while also organizing them to a degree yet unseen. A Vrykul tribe pays the price, only for the trolls to lose a chunk of their gains as Davo leads his troops in an ambush, while elsewhere, his fellows try to solicit aid, running into arrogance and disdain in equal measure for a bit despite the nature of the enemy. Days pass, hit-and-run assaults are launched in both ways, with Tyrande still proving a bit of a lightning rod even as the enemy’s undead constructs and risen forces grow ever stronger. A rumble is heard in the distance, and things go from bad to worse, with Tyrande’s expedition starting to face losses even in battles they win, until Narvae and Purde return with help. This aid is proven to be almost not enough until further aid arrives well ahead of when it should have: the Unseen Path, Harry and the might of the Kaldorei people arrive on dragon back, pushing back the influence of the Old God back into it’s previous territory, setting up a final assault.
(Hmm… I might have to cut that down a bit, but it for sure won’t be the last chapter in this arc, alas. Travel time still has to matter, and that means this small scale campaign needs to go a certain way for those holding the line. Pity.)
Heroes of the High Seas – MHA/One Piece Crossover: A battle between a fixed installation and a warship does not go the way common doctrine says it would, despite Garp’s name seemingly not doing its normal job of making his enemies wail in terror. Several towers and a few burning ships later, the marines make landfall, with Garp, having received further intel, ordering a split of their forces even as the locals toss mechanical monsters, dozens of gunmen, and even a few howling suicide bombers at them. Shock abounds among the teens, never having dealt with religious fervor, but order is maintained and the victims dealt with before the teens are split up. Izuku, Shoto and Jirou are sent on a headhunting expedition by Garp, as he leads another force, hoping to find and protect the king. Meanwhile, Momo and the others push into the island, finding their training put to good use. The headhunting expedition goes poorly for a moment, then very, very well, as fire trumps paper, the king and his family secured, and the World Government Flag restored over Popernickel, earning the crew some shore leave, which everyone uses in various ways…
I believe Climbing gets the Carry-over again… yep. So it will get a whopping 814. Maybe it will be enough to beat Death’s Avenger? If it isn’t, I will laugh and cry in equal measure LOL.
