October Patron Poll Results: (Patreon)

Hey folks, here is the Patron Only poll results. On time, but don’t think that means the holdover from last month, Butterfly Wings, is done. Beyond losing this past weekend, again, to being a good uncle/bro, amusingly, while the combat is done, I’ve rewritten the meet and greet twice over. My first version, the dialogue SUCKED.  The second version, it was still too formal, and I was building up the background characters too much, with Kara and Cassie being sidelined. My current version, well, I just added kids, and it made it instantly more fun, removed significant sections of the question and answer segments, as superfluous and… still kind of sidelined Cassie for a bit, but the eventual reveal there serves two purposes, with her and Ranma having a moment, while Kori is huggy and playful with the children and, yeah.  Way better, with Kara pulling a… well, for those old school Trekies among you, she pulls a Scotty LOL.  So I will Grammarly it, finalize it, and hopefully get it done by tomorrow night… I’ve been voluntold we’re going to be renovating an elderly lady’s sitting room for her over the next few days, so will have half-days until Monday to devote to other things.

Now, this poll was interesting.

Starting in third place because oh my word, did King of Champions do badly. it Brought in only 583, putting it well behind the others.  OUCH.  Mind you, I kind of get it, what with DA featuring a massive battle and the end of an arc and then being put on-hold.

In Second place is Alto Out There, the two-chapter story crossing Ranma/World of Otome Games is Tough For Mobs, it brought in a pretty darn amazing 1,550 votes. Beyond the normal patrons who always vote Ranma, it brought in a lot of swing votes, which is really nice to see for that fic when I take it up full time, even if it seemed to cut into the normal amount of votes I’d see going to King of Champions.

However, it wasn’t quite enough to beat out the carry-over effect of 351 going to Death’s Avenger, which gave it the win with a total of 1,577.  Damn close, but not quite.

There you go, folks.  I will start work on it Saturday night and should hopefully be sending it off to the editor by this time next week.
