August small (LOL) story poll results (Patreon)

Okay everybody, it is time to close down all the polls:

(Making Waves 10 is off to the beta reader, or rather one of them anyway LOL.  I will post it here after my Fairy Tail expert has had a look at it)

For those of you who don’t remember how this works, the Highschool DxD crossover poll and the small story polls are combined, then the winners, the two stories which have brought in the most votes, are updated that month.  Because it has been so long since Stallion of the Line won, I put my four hundred points down on it, and hoped it would win. Alas, not so much (!@&@(#&*)&&)))& GAAAHH)

Anyhoo, here are the winners for the small story poll:

Coming in last was Semblance of Hope, 420. Why does it get so little love over on Fanfic? It took in 120 votes there. Whine...

Sword bow and Horse a patreon vote, brought in 424. I love that this is getting so much love, just wish it was enough to overcome the existing fics.

Fate Touched in Middle Earth, brought in 385 votes on fanfic putting it in second place, but in total only 941 once patreon votes were accounted for.

Anything Goes Game Changer 958 votes total, with 173 coming from fanfic. 

In third place was my personal choice, Stallion of the Line, It brought in 240 votes on fanfic, earning  a total of 1,355 once the votes here werer accounted for.

However,

It couldn’t come close to the two leaders:

Gods and Devils and Wild Horse with a total of 1707, though it only brought in 275 votes from fanfic.

And winning first place over on fanfic with 593 and barely winning first overall was FilFy teacher with  1719!!!!

Whoo! 

So it’s going to be a DXD heavy month.

On one hand, I’m sad that my one piece hunger isn’t fed. On the other hand, YES!!! End that cliffhanger on Gods and Devils!!!

One of your big donors obviously does not care for one piece, which while I feel like a puppy who has been locked in a cage (though I don't pull off the cuteness to the point I get in the arms of an angel to play) about, FILFY winning will always make me happy, still falling short by 300...it's like giving someone cheat codes and them still losing. Alright I made enough analogies, though I do wonder if you gave it more if reality would just stack the odds again.

Since it didn't win this month my votes will go up to 600 for it next month.

I'm kinda confused about how you are doing the polls now. I thought you were doing the DxD Poll the same way you are the SW Poll. By adding the DxD Poll to the Small Stories Poll, wouldn't the DxD stories almost always both win since it's a smaller pool of options to choose from but with the same amount of people voting in each?

I'm with Lavick. I think it complicates and gives extra points to DxD in the small story polls. I think it should be separate like SW. And we haven't seen any type of update in ATP in months. Not even how the research is going.

I am really sad to see Stallion not winning, I was prepering for it by starting to read it from scratch to give my memorie a boost^^ Im okay with you putting some more votes to it next month. It is the best one piece fic I have read :D

I have never seen or read DxD so it dose not matter much to me, I have been trying to watch some of it so I can get basic knowledge to read more of your fics, but so far it has not come a long way haha.

Stallion of the line would have been great, easily one of my favorites. The reason semblance doesn't do too well is most likely because Ranma just comes across as RWBY strength level which isn't that impressive in the overall world.

Are you saying OP characters are more popular than someone who just fits in? Huh. Don’t know how I feel about that one.

In the past I had a third poll here to get the stories which hadn’t been updated in a long while some love. Now that it’s just Stallion that stopped, and I decided to put up a DxD poll because of the cliffhanger in GDWHOM and the one in FIlFy too, though obviously that one hadn’t been around as long.

It's more that he is a stronger by far than rwby's age group but it doesn't come across that way in story. He doesn't need to be overpowered but him not getting better and keeping a wide gap between himself and their age group should be something that happens.
