In many of my stories we are entering pivotal arcs, arcs whose outcome(s) will impact the story for all time going forward.  Hence, I have yet another, albeit smaller, series of questions for you all.

1.  What is everyone's opinion on character deaths?  Characters who, in canon, might have been spared or lived through events that should rightly have killed them, or main characters who are no longer main characters thanks to the changes I've made.   I can't give specifics obviously, but it is a troubling question, so give me your thoughts on it.  Who should be safe, whose fate don't you care about, should i go there at all, would it add a level or realism?  Whatever your opinion is, lay it on me.

2. Small scale 'while X was happening ot the main character Y was happening elsewhere' scenes are coming up in Sword, Bow and Horse, and in the future Making Waves and GDWHOM.  Are the non-Ranma characters interesting enough that their adventures should take up screen time?  What too, is everyone's opinion on timeskips.  Personally I hate them beyond the month range, but they do serve a sort of purpose.

3.  I can see the end of the line of Anything Goes Game Changer in something like three or four chapters.  So, should I just remove the large story poll and concentrate on my small stories until it is finished and just throw my own votes behind it to make certain it wins one of the two/three spots every month?  Or Should I keep the current format.

4.  On the same sort of subject, how has everyone liked the two patron chapter concept?  Would everyone like to see that continue, that is two patron only content chapters per month, prioritizing Sword over the other stories that win the polls that month?  (i did say i'm sort of addicted to Ranma in a fantasy setting right? could have sworn I had LOL)

5. How much is too much lemon?  This is a serious FILFy question given what happened in chapter 11.  I am kind of on the fence about putting in more furry stuff, and am wondering what everyone things of my attempt at it.

1. I don't like unnecessary character deaths so unless its needed for the story to progress in a reasonable manner I wouldn't like to see it.

Konan2020

1 - If Ranma and his main romance stays alive, i don't care about other people, 3 - a prefer if you finish Anything Goes. 4 - Yes. 5 just Label the start and the end of the lemon, if somebody doesn't like just skip it

frank schellingerhout

1 if the character is no longer needed its fine 4 like the system and am happy with the two chapters 5 think there is no such thing if fits the story and in FILFy it fits

Kariston Draconis

1. If the death serves a major plot point, it can work, but if you just kill them off because you don't like them or they're surplus to the plot, that's a major fic-sin right there. 2. The Vanadis characters are certainly interesting enough to warrant some "While X, Y was" moments, as with the major One Piece characters, though only a few DxD characters are worth it, in my opinion. As for timeskips, I don't have a problem with them as long as you include at least an outline of any major events that happened during the skip, and there weren't enough of those to justify not having a timeskip. 3. I'd say keep the current format mostly, but just make AGGC an automatic win, people should be more forgiving if they know it's in the endgame phase. 4.I do like the current format for patron only stories 5. There's no such thing as too much lemon, and I don't read FILFY so I don't have any opinion on that story.

AR

1. It really depends on the tone of the story and how the death is handled. Stories that kill off a character just to kill someone (stares at Joss Whedon) cheapen the whole experience. Other times (like with Ace in One Piece) it serves as a powerful counterpoint where the characters have gotten so far over their heads and gotten away with so much for so long that it was inevitable and yet still heartwrenching. 2. For the most part, I'd say yes... but focused more on OCs, minor characters who didn't get fleshed out in canon, or major characters who are very different from canon. Rehashing canon events or personalities is almost never interesting. 3. If the end is in sight, I'd say wrap it up - good for closure and to free up space (both on the poll and in your head) for other stories. :)

Taco

1. If in reason then they make sense. They can even move the story forward. 2. I personally prefer quick glimpses over full on stories about side characters. Time jumps with summaries tend to works best. 3. Yes run to the finish line lol. 4. Quite like the fantasy setting myself. 5. Lemon in the recipe is fine, but as a dish no thanks lol.

1. I don't mind character deaths, even if they're a main character. if a character dies, then so be it, so long as you don't start going on Richard sized killing sprees I'm fine. 2. I quite like seeing what other characters are doing, I feel it enriches both the world and the time spent with the main character by helping prevent character fatigue, although your stories don't really suffer from that. 3. I would prefer the large story poll to remain 4. I would quite like to see this continue

idk

1. Character deaths are acceptable as long as it is within reason (please don't go killing off half the characters in stupid ways simply for the sake of killing them), even killing main characters is acceptable so long as it is done for a reason.

idk

Having said that, feel free to kill off those characters that we love to hate (Diodora from Highschool DxD for example)

Legomir172

id be fine with you killing off any character that you feel necessary except ranma and the main characters (id be fine with issei/natsu dying personally

Justin miller

i don't really care much for character death as long as it's not ranma or someone important to the plot but if it's someone like issei or natsu who both have so much plot armor i wouldn't mind u maiming them to teach them a lesson or killing them entirely

SuperiorPosterior

1 Character deaths must serve the story, not the author or fans. So no matter how much a character is a Hate Sink in-series (like Shinji from the Fate series), their death should be something more to the story than a "that happened I guess." To give an example, for your Ranma/HotD crossover, we never really found out if others from Ranma's canon survived, and while that's perfectly valid and reasonable, just suddenly having them show up just to die would have turned that fic from a damn good one to a steaming pile. 2 A day in the limelight works wonders for side characters, because it allows them to grow without their growth being directly because the MC is nearby. Even if fans don't like a character all that much, it may be good to have a look in on them every now and then just to see how the actions of others have affected their way of doing things. As for Time Skips? "X Years Later" rarely works mid-series. At best, it's good for the end of episode one, or when there's an obvious plot reason why a Time Skip is necessary (take One Piece for example, there, a Time Skip works.) For fanfiction, I'd recommend not going more than a single year in any given timeskip, because a LOT can happen even in that short amount of time. 3 Don't burn yourself out! Take things however you feel is best, but keep your health in mind. 4 I don't really have an opinion, but I am enjoying the heck outta Making Waves. 5 Too much lemon is when you get so flowery with it that it takes a whole chapter rather than a scene. When you can't remember what happened right before the lemon, it's too much lemon. I don't know how much that might help, but it's how I see it.

Aaron Hardin

Character death should only be used if it serves a purpose such as character growth (not angst though) or progression of the plot. Knowing what other characters are doing offscreen should only be done if humorous, or has a future impact on the plot. I think stories that are almost complete should be focused on to remove clutter in the number of ongoing stories you have. When the inclusion of lemons reduces the amount of plot progression a chapter has is when there is too much.

Aaron Hardin

If Richard killing sprees are done humorously enough I am OK with it, as long as it can be ties into the plot

Treant Balewood

1.Im rarely 'happy' with the deaths but I'm not exactly upset over them and I've seen it done well a few time's. More than happy to leave it to you. 2.Im fine with following you characters there usually interesting enough, not the biggest fan of time skips either they should be done sparingly 3.Yes! 4.I'd be fine if this one won 5.No such thing(or rather you'd have to work really hard to get there) At first I was eh(sketchy) then I was like no it's cool, feel free to take thing a little bit wierd

Stephen D Johnson

1. You do very well in this area without us messing things up for you. I do get frustrated when the villain falls off a skyscraper then find out 5 chapters later that there was scaffolding 50 feet down that caught them. 2. I find the other characters off screen time is usually rehashed when they meet back up, so I end up skipping over it as it's happening. 3. ::mortal kombat voice:: FINISH HIM! 4. I prefer making waves, but whatever you like 5. notice at beginning and end, they'll skip if they want.

Druid

Characters shouldn't die for the sake of someone dying. In other words, someone should only die if it would impart further meaning upon the story than them living would. I really don't like it, but sometimes the story is better served by it happening. It just shouldn't happen lightly. As to who should be safe, nobody. It would suck if someone major that I liked died, but what I like matter versus what the story needs, no. Perspective changes: I don't mind them, but I feel that any such should be in short blurbs versus the main character(s). I've found that I hate long perspective shifts, for which you can thank Robert Jordan, and the "Wheel of Time" series for that. Time skips: There are times where they're absolutely needed as otherwise you're just making filler to pad the story to where you actually want to get to. Sword FTW! As for lemon bits, so long as they're clearly marked you can do whatever think is best.

Milandaanza

1. You often save characters who would have died, it's completely reasonable to kill characters who would have lived. I know you have on the darker side, villains who got away only to get offed. I think a big part of it is 'does it fit the story'. Sometimes character death can be a huge storyline motivator and while you shouldn't kill off everyone.... if a character here or there dies, it might make me cry but it still should happen 2. Long term time skips should have their own small scene, make it more like a montage of major events (if any). In some cases it does fit. A long journey by Ranma and Shaak for example may very well take a year and only include them being close and training students. If it fits, use it, just not too often. I have a bit of a chip about time skips too primarily because of Romance novels and pointless angst. As for secondary characters POV, I'd say keep it short unless they're part of the main crew or its a major plot point. An example would be a long scene from Anakin's point of view in HotF would be dull, but a long scene from Shaak's perspective would work well. 3. This really depends on you, I love when you finish a story (Albeit sequels don't seem to work out for you, which isn't necessarily a bad thing since they end on good points). In your shoes I'd want it -done- especially with such a large list of stories. Your current format works great but I can see why you'd wanna knock a few stories off entirely, and this one is ready to wrap up. 4. I really do enjoy Ranma in a fantasy setting, I used to froth looking for D&D Crossovers. But I think you should prioritize what you can handle comfortably. Maybe commit to 1 a month but if you can get out a second one then do so? That way you're only guaranteeing a single story while trying for more. I absolutely adore your stories but you write so much, I admit I worry you might hit burnout one day if you keep pushing. So please take care of yourself yea? <3 5. I didn't read Filfy but a good measuring tool is 'does this advance the story'. A romantic evening, character growth, a special scene. Those are good lemon moments. But in a setting like DxD you could easily do half of every fanfic as smut. So you may want to fade to black the casual every day sex scenes if its not 'special'.

1. I think the general rule of thumb when running P&P RPGs applies: No Chump Deaths. Character deaths, particularly those of major characters, from your story or just in canon, should mean something, and they should exit the stage in suitably spectacular ways, even if it's just a ridiculous one. That said, I don't think anyone really needs plot armour, and a memorable death can really add to a story, so long as it doesn't get gratuitous about killing characters off just for the sake of killing them off. Of course, killing off the titular character (Ranma/Harry) would be a tremendous twist, that I think might only fly a couple times in an entire writing career. Whether character death adds to a story's realism or not, really depends on how well you pull it off. I generally tend towards preferring less character deaths; but then again I am also a fan of grimdark worlds like Warhammer 40k. In the end, the question really is, does it suit the story in question? and does it move the story forward? Dooku's death in Magic of the Force for instance was inspired. 2. Timeskips: I think I've answered this one before - but I generally dislike them beyond the month range like you, but it's pretty dependant on the story in question. Montages are fine, and there's absolutely ways to make them work by time-skipping the characters as well, like having them end up in cryostasis, or time travel. I dislike timeskips with too many off screen adventures, or as set ups purely to surprise the reader; but skipping over long routines is generally alright with a summary. The time skips in Magic of the Force, when Harry and crew entered the Nebula were fine; even as years passed with only short glimpses of their non-critical adventures. 3. I'm not super excited about you closing off the large story polls, since those are the main stories I'm excited for, but I do understand you wanting to close off some of your smaller stories. I'd vote you throwing your weight behind a story or two you want to see finished, but it's really whatever keeps you happy writing. The update timings for the stories I'm really excited for are starting to widen out, so I can see how ending (properly of course) some of the 'small' stories might shrink that; assuming new ideas don't rush in to fill the void. Whatever sees you enjoying your work though, maybe even just giving yourself an author's choice chapter or two every month, and reducing the number voted for. Though if you mean just taking a month to lock down a story or two completely, just focus and finish them, I'm pretty cool with that - I just read the question as an indefinite amount of months without large story updates until those got done, which is a bit too vague. 4. While I've liked the two Patreon chapters concept just fine, and have gotten to read some interesting stories thanks to it, my primary story follows are actually the public ones, and the Patreon exclusives actually keep you from updating those as frequently. Again though; I'd have to say whatever keeps you happy writing, and makes the most sense for keeping Patreons engaged and subscribed. While it wouldn't bother me to lose them, I know some Patreon exclusives are probably desirable to keep people involved. 5. Whatever the author is comfortable writing; nothing is worse than a Lemon where you can feel the author forcing it out. If you're on the fence about it, I'd avoid, but I haven't actually read the scene you've mentioned yet, so can't comment beyond that. Unless it's a lemon story though; it should be something to add as a garnish or spice to the story; not the primary meal.

zagan

1. For secondary character I don't mind, but not main one. 2. A few mention here and there, one paragraph per chapter but no more. And yes small timeskip are fine but not big one. 3. Keep it like that no need to rush the end. 4. While I like Sword and Bow just fine, I admit I prefer Making Wave and I liked to see it stay monthly. 5. One Lemon/Lime per chapter seem fine, the character are in a loving relationship, they have a pretty high libido so it's normal for them to have sex. As for furry as long as it doesn't go overboard I have no problem with it. It seem normal for Youkai to experiment with it.

Vincent

1. I depends on the world. For example, I can more easily see a death in an HP world than a Ranma one. Maybe because Ranma is more a comedic world and death is difficult to assiociate with it.

Majere

1 so far I liked the way you did things in your novels I read so far so for me current settings in all is good

Majere

2 not in all but in some series it's interesting the way you portray chacters already existed so I am fine with it in time skips as long as it isn't too long or often used it's good

Majere

3 keep the current format

Majere

4 patreon chapters bare very nice keep them

Majere

5 in some series I would maybe say lemons are too much but not in DxD with presetting and all I would say go all the way in with lemons and all otherwise with devils , fallen angels etc it would be weird not to see them in 7 sins quite often and tbh Harry in this series needs to lose some control and lighten up. Plus for me at least he needs to embrace his werewolf side more it feels like it's there is to give him more combat power and a few mentions about harrys control is all werewolf thing is for and sry for different posts in phone enter button just send the damn text

1. I think a death should have a finishing touch for the story. The character could have a connection to the main hero so that the death can have a influence for said hero. The death of cannon folder and no-names has lesser impact for the story if we don´t know them like you did in Wild Wolf. The main point is a character death should be like you said realistic and influence the howl story. 2. Different plot lines with side characters could be told in flashbacks, when they meet the main hero again or make a cut and do it like the above mentioned Wild Wolf. I think you did a wonderful job with this story, but the word count each chapter could have been e bit less.^^ 3. You should keep the current form, so we the readers have each month a different story to enjoy. I see your point in finishing AGGC so you can concentrate one a different project, but I think you should take your time. A rushed ending won´t satisfied you or us readers. After it is finished I hope you´ll pick up one of your old stories like Lion of Light or Change to the Food Chain. I love the interaction between Ranma and his harems in this two storys. 4. Two patreon only stories are nice and I think you should develop SBH a few chapters more. But in my opinion a switch to the others can be made in chapter 6 or 7, so that you won´t neglect the other storys. 5. I like lemon parts but it shouldn´t be too much. So far you did a wonderful job with each lemon in all your stories and skipped a few that were not necessary. Keep it at the current level and all will be good.

1.Death is quite final, so probably measure how much worth a character has to the overall plot and whether it would help or hinder that. 2. Maybe a small amount of screen time, but I am honestly only interested in what Ranma does and how other things effect him. Some concise scenes probably wouldn't hurt. 3. Not sure how other patrons and followers would like that. Probably work best to just ensure that story always is one of the ones getting an update. People can probably handle that for four or five months without too much complaining. 4.YES! I really enjoy getting to see the patron stories and am kind of obsessed with your Sword, Bow, and Horse story. Love seeing how you play in that sandbox. 5. Maybe base amount of lemons on the story setting. DxD, for example, would support a lot more lemons than Gold Digger or normal Star Wars. Your take on Star Wars being different in my mind from the canon version. As to his Alt. form in the bedroom, you were pretty classy about that scene. I don't have an issue with seeing more as that is a part of the character we are reading. Makes sense to see his various sides in any given situation.

1. I have no preferences I'd like imposed in regards to character deaths. I greatly enjoy your writing and have faith you'd do it well, regardless of which characters it's happening to. 2. Generally speaking, I do not really care to read about non-main characters beyond interludes showing what they're doing and thinking that will be relevant later on in the story. I.e. showing the reasoning behind their behaviour or how Character A usually situated on one end of the continent ended up in place to screw over the plans of Character B on the other side. 3. I have no preferences either way. I like all your stories regardless. 4. I like the two-patron chapter concept; as my favourite stories are only on here. lol 5. I think you reach "too much" lemon when it's starting to interfere with plot progression and is not really contributing to character development.

Thomas Edwards

1. Personally I like the more realistic concepts for character deaths but also giving important characters a good death as well, especially if we've grown attached to them such as Dooku in Magic. For example I would hate an off screen death for someone who had been important to the cast. However having a good death that causes an impact on the main character I would see as important, such as the effect Prescotts death had on Ranma in Chaotic Space. In terms of plot armour and canon survivals I would say that depends on the story and how any changes you've made will effect things, for example some one surviving because they received more training etc. than in canon would work (such as Luffy/Ranma training his crew/ family) alternatively someone dying because something didn't happen that did in canon would also make sense. In regards to enemy deaths etc. then I think how you've done things so far has worked well, e.g. Stallion killing off Arlong and Crocodile worked well despite them surviving to impact the plot later in Canon this Ranma/Luffy would not be happy to let them live and the butterfly effects their deaths will cause should be interesting. Based on your writing and stories so far however, you seem to have a good balance with making character deaths realistic and not having a ridiculous save come out of nowhere. 2. It depends on the character and specifics of the story but if these scenes will have an impact later on to either the character or the story I say go for it, the way you wrote Laxus and Erza's time hunting down Deliora worked well, Tying this in to time-skips personally I prefer no more than a month or so but having montages that are split up by whats happening elsewhere like in your Star wars stories would work well to show the passage of time etc. 3. If you think you can finish it without seeming rushed I would suggest put votes behind it to make sure it passes but have no real preference since I enjoy all your stories anyway. 4. I'm really enjoying both Sword and Waves at the minute so would not be opposed to keeping the two-patron chapter concept. 5. I think for stories such as DxD it is hard not to have a number of lemons in them so far. Personally I've liked how you've used them so far and they haven't seemed to interfere with the plot so I have faith in your writing lol!

Tomon

1) Wow, this is a hard question. Definitely gonna get a logest answer :) Generally speaking I'm against characters dying. To me a real world is often vile enough as it is, I like my reading to be enjoyable and not causing depression :-D And I also often root for the "good guys" too much to be happy seeing any of them perish. That being said if the plot armor is too strong it removes the tension and can hurt the story badly. For example if we know that the main characters survive, too early into the story it weaken the overal plot, because every danger their face is already diminished - we know the enemy won't succeed or at least not fully. This for example happened with Wild Wolf and is probably my biggest complain for what is otherwise an amazing tale. We knew that both Ranma, Danny are going to survive, thanks to the reform that we were told they will establish AFTER the war. Also is true that well used death(s) can help the story and give motivation to character(s) or shown how dangerous the situation really is. We can again use the example of Wilf Wolf. Domeric death after all he survives and how important his position was, came up as surprising and made the story even more real. I was sad to see him go, which shows how well you written him. Regarding the bad guys. Let's just say that I'm all for second chances. But Batman should truly kill Joker already. If someone proves that he can't be hold by prison, and when manages to escape causes more death for innocent people? Yeah, he just given up the right to his own life. Your Harry is sometimes even more ruthless than that both in Filfy and Third Path, but so far he didn't overdo it so I'm okay with that. So yes, in my opinion death can be used and sometimes it even help the story. We readers should definitely be afraid of the possibility at least, even if in the end everybody lives. But while some may found it cheesy, I believe the death should have meaning and the characters should be given proper send off be it badass final scene, or meaningful goodbye. For example probably the worst death scene I encountered in modern more known literature was the last battle of Harry Potter. The list of deaths to make the final battle 'properly grim and dark' was so badly done that I just sadly nodded upon reading "Albus Severus Potter" and was not shocked anymore. And it was quite surprising because the previous characters demise was handled really well and had a major impact. Honestly I even like stories where the characters starts to dying rapidly at the end but with the final victory they get ressurected/saved/timeline is changed/etc. And that's something which is hard to pull of correctly. Maybe it's even one of the reason why I like the time-travel redo stories. Our time traveler often remembers the death of all the people close to him, sometimes in gruesome details. He know how bad it can get, and through him we readers are also aware that death is part of the story and nobody is truly save. But the main hero can try his hardest to save everyone and if he succeed most of readers are truly happy :) So to somehow close this question... Just the fact that some characters lived in canon doesn't mean anything and definitely doesn't make them safe. Death can be used, but should be done after careful thinking and also do the departing justice. And only happen very sparingly. 2) Yes. I like to have grasp of the overal picture. There can be surprising plots, or we can only have hint of something brewing, but I prefer to know what is happening at least in general sense :) Timeskips can be used for long time travelling or extended training session. Especially love if it's not just *beng, three years later* but when we get a montage of what was happening. It may be just hints of the training and we can be still surprised with the new techniques/moves/etc but we get the idea of what was happening. Another good option I encountered is omake at the end of chapters that often humorously spoke about the time spent during the time skip. Just a chosen interesting scenes and events. This can be also used to introduce new character or their background and use them in the main storyline. 3) If your muse is working with you I would vote for finishing Anything Goes Game Change. I love pretty much all your stories, but I admit I wouldn't mind if there were less of them active. After all even with your absurdly amazing update speed, some stories can wait for half a year before getting updated. 4) What, you like Ranma in fantasy settings? Since when?!? We couldn't have guessed :-D But honestly my little crusade against SWORD already failed.. especially as I like the story anyway *grumbling* so I don't really care either way. For me Patreon is a ways to support you at least a little bit and mainly thank you for all your amazing work. I'm not doing it for patreon only content. Also ff net is better suited for reading :-D 5) I don't think you would overdo it with lemon. And if someone dislike them, they can always just skip them as you make the start and end clear enough. It's not the reason I read any story but if they're well done I like them. So in my opinion even if one chapter contained multiple lemon scenes I wouldn't mind. Only if it happened in few chapters in a row I would be a little alarmed about the focus of the story :-D If the question is more about the aspect of "should there be some furry" then why the hell not? We have werewolf and Kitsune among others. For me it's quite logical. And it would be also totally okay if any of the women involved would in fact be of a firm option that they want Harry in his human form only. It's truly up to the couple (or all participants) to decide for themselves :)

1. Death, very final usually, does have a place in all stories. It can be used to motivate people, highlight the importance of events, signal to end of (blank), or many other things. As a writer it is up to you to decide who, how, when, and the effects of a death. There is in my opinion no perfect solution to your question. Sorry. 2. Showing the actions of other non-main characters would be a good way of showing how the changes to the timeline, due to your change, are affecting others. It could also be used to show minor plot points that do not involve the main character. As for time skips, use them as need to condense periods of little action or development(plot or character). 3, It is always good in my opinion to see a story be completed, so many stories just stop often just after a buildup for something. So anyways which ever method you think will help you complete AGGC do so please. 4. I like the two chapter idea, please keep at it. 5. Lemons, personally I like them, but others may not. Of course you need to be aware of ff.nets anti-lemon stance. I would hate to see your stories be pulled due to such. As for furry lemons personally not a major fan, but with the non-human characters within FiLFy it would be expected.

1. Character Deaths- As long as they aren't blindsiding or undeserved, serve a purpose in the story and make sense in execution/reason to the person(s) involved... then I'm okay with it. 2. Minor Characters- if their role and actions effect the main characters in some way, then a short blurb or section could be dedicated to them... but it must tie-in to overall story and Main Character. 3. Can't wait... would love to see this finished soon. 4. As long as YOU can handle it. Don't want to demand too much and stress you to burnout... but would like to read both. 5. Lemons- Tasteful, Fluffy, and actions that aren't completely out of the realm of possibility... these are essential to good lemons/limes. Do you need more? No... usually after initial pairing get together, one can simply alude to lemon happening by either starting then cut away to next day, or open on afterglow/post-coitus cuddle. Any new partners need full scene (Harry/Yasaka, Harry/Yubelluna, Harry/Kalawarner) as well as new multi-partner scenes (Harry/Rias/Yasaka). Once established, lemons can get to be overpowering if used in abundance. Limes are nice when short and sweet but again, no need to use too many. As for Furry... with Harry it makes sense. Yasaka is more than willing to love both aspects of Harry (Wolf and Human) because she herself has those aspects. Having her help introduce Harry as well as the others to the wolf in bed is a good way to show who truly loves him for ALL that he is... Wizard/Phoenix-Wolf/Demigod.

1. Character deaths are all well and fine for some people and I've seen tons of mainstream authors who I very much respect and love state how they feel it's required for realism to keep their stories engaging and ensure that the stakes remain high. That said, I read stories (and fanfics in PARTICULAR) because I want happy endings for the main characters that I love. Fanfics, while not always intended to be fix fics and many of yours are very much not so, they are largely exercises in providing more rewarding versions of favorite stories. Character deaths are great for villains as such because then it still keeps realism up but I shudder to think of the protagonists dying since we've grown to love them and I hate when fanfics don’t have happy endings for the protagonists. It makes things too much like a Shakespearian Tragedy at that point. 2. Timeskips are not inherently evil like so many people think. It just needs to be handled tastefully and massaged. Timeskips can be excellent and very well done or they can be clunky. Either way, sometimes they are badly needed to move things along. 3. If you honestly think you can finish one your stories in two or three chapters I would say go for it. I would however caution to be realistic when going that route. Tons of people, myself included have thought that they could finish the story in one or two chapters and five or six later it's still chugging along. 4. Doesn't matter much on my end honestly. 5. As long as a lemon is tasteful there is very little that is 'too much' to be honest. The key is that it's not just sex for the purpose for sex. It needs to have something besides just sex. Some sort of bonding or talking or character growth/exploration. Then it's not just a X-rated content, it's story plus some eroticism. You've done a very good job with it in FILFY so far. If you are talking about the portion with Harry in his werewolf form with Yasaka in the latest chapter, while I haven't read most of the chapter I did skim that portion that be able to comment appropriately and I think you did fine. I also think that going by Yasaka's comments to him, it's actually rather important to HAVE at least one or two scenes with him in that form with her at least if not Rias. You built it up as a big part of a his character development which actually plays into what I said above about the lemon scenes being more than about just sex.

1.- I dont really care about a secondary character death or a boss or Big boss deat if it have reason to see those events happen. Nope. I dont like to see a MC lose there charisma and start following a new character, I read the story for that and I would stop reading it if I couldnt stomach the MC even before a new character took stage. 2.- NP in that side, as long as they dont become MC, to me it was horrible to read the 3  book of A Song of Ice and Fire, we had like 15 characters to follow and sometimes we had to even go back in time when a new side story began! 3.- That story is not even in my top 5 so I dont care about it =P 4.- Well, if you love that it means you are inspired. People write better what they like and you write to share what YOU like, so yeah XD 5.- As long as we get development and interaction in a chapter, I dont mind the lemons but yeah, and lemons when things are going bad are just skipped (Like the little wolf hunt... I just skipped all the Harry-Akeno lime to see what happen). And I dont like furry, bestiality, dominance stuff. But if nothing important happens in that lemon, I can just skip it for the people that like them. So I wouldn't like to see it but if you write it, beside the warning -Lemon Starts- maybe a -Furry Lemon Start- would help.... Thx again and sorry for my english

1. On canon character death. I have to say, make it believable...i.e. there's no possible way for that character to survive. Though please make it so there's a purpose to that death, i.e. it is needed to drive the story/remaining char in a particular direction. 2. Other POVs far-away. That's what an interlude is all about. Though, usually other far-away POVs will tied up to the main plot in one way or another. Just random happenings is not done, i think. 3. On Short/Long story. Whichever is easier for your muse. Because at the end of the day, you are the one writing it. Despite our grumblings, we are happy with whichever your decision on this. 4. 2 Patreon Chapter? No particular thoughts on this. Your story man...go crazy. 5. Eh, with DxD, no lemons is asking a whole lot. hehe. Personally for me, love your lemons as it give me a 'break' from all the plots/actions. Though please, don't push it. Let the emotion drive you, not the action. That way it is still somewhat relevant to the story.

Adam Ouellette

Personally I think I would like to read a furry lemon written by you just cause I love your writing style and would want to see how you handled it. As for the other questions I'm a bit ambivalent about them so can't really give an opinion either way. Sorry I wasn't much help.

Paul Krieger

As long as the character you kill isn't the main character i.e. like rias dying in FilFy I don't have a problem with it as long as it makes sense in the story. In terms of other PoV's as long as it is not super long and it is tied into the main plot they work fine. I think you should just go for finishing the story, since you have so many currently in progress getting one finished would be great. I like Swords a lot, its honestly my fav story of yours after wild wolf and filfy, so i like the 2 patreon chapters. As for lemons as long as they build on the relationship between characters I like them, putting random lemons that serve no purpose other than for smut is not very good for a serious story however.

1. It honestly depends on the character for me and even then it also depends on how said character has been portrayed to that point in the story. Lets take Hermione from Harry Potter as an example. I like her as a character and is usually my go to for the love interest of Harry when I select by pairing. So if I'm reading a story and she dies, if she isn't being portrayed as an antagonist of some sort then the story better have what I feel is an outstanding plot because otherwise I'm dropping the story right there 2. As a whole I'm fine with interludes like that. I don't read those particular stories so i can say specifically for them. While I understand that timeskips serve a purpose i generally prefer as few as possible. 3. I would rather keep the Large Story poll if only because i don't read Anything Goes Game Changer. That said if you think it will be finished soon then i won't be bothered if you drop the poll to focus on finishing it. 4. I'm fine with the patron only content I just wish the weren't both Ranma stories (or in the case of Sword, Bow and Horse that Ranma was crossed with something that i actually know about so that it interests me more). I only read Making Waves between the 2 of them and even that I've fallen behind on, more because i have less time to read fanfiction now so i'm having to prioritize other stories over Making Waves. 5. As long as it doesn't become a pure smutfic you can write as many lemons as you want.

Andrew

1. I'm generally not a fan of character deaths unless either the story is told in such a way that death is a real possibility, or the universe the story takes place in shows death as an almost common occurence (i.e. Worm)

Andrew

2. I generally don't read interludes like that as I'm usually not interested in the people other than the main character. 4. I'm fine with Patreon only content. 5. Write as many lemons as you want.

UrpsychoEX

Here is my opinion Vim. 1. I don't mind realism in the stories I read Vim, but on that note I think to many people go for a kind of hyper realism. An example would be Game of Thrones (A Song of Fire and Ice) or The Walking Dead. I don't mind if characters die but it needs to serve a purpose and have a good reasoning. I don't like character death (or other dark themes) for the sake of shock, surprise, or 'realism'. But as with all of my suggestions they are just that. I'll always bow to your voice in your stories. 2. Timeskips with a purpose are fine. I don't mind if we skip a month, half a year, or even longer if you feel the need and nothing 'significant' happens during that time. I also don't mind seeing what happens when side or minor characters are away from the 'action'. Mainly that heavily depends on the character in question though. 3. Same format or your change I have no opinion Vim. 4. I don't mind that concept Vim. I don't know the source material but I am honestly loving the story so far. 5. My honest opinion is I don't mind the furry stuff. Feel free to PM or email me if you want a frank discussion Vim but I don't mind it.

Paul Condra

1. If a character death needs to happen then so be it. Otherwise please keep the character deaths to minor or antagonists characters. 2.Showing what other characters are doing if they're not the main character is okay if it's done well and/or advances the plot. 3.if you're that confident in being able to finish anything goes game changer, then finish it while you have the drive to do so. 4. i'm indifferent in that regard. 5.it's too much lemon if that's all there is to the chapter. On the other hand if you can use the lemon or lemons to advance the plot/build character then it serves even more of a purpose.

1. For me I think it would depend on the character and how they have been adapted into your stories; more so how the death would affect the story overall. Even then I would have to also say it would depend on how they died. Going back to Magic of the Force and when Dooku died as much as I wanted him to live and provide a bigger impact I could respect the way that he died. Whereas, had he been killed from poison or assassination without being able to do anything then I would have been disappointed. If the people being affected are on the side of ‘good’ I would rather see them either maimed or placed in a coma so they do not have a role. On the other hand, characters on the side of ‘evil’ I would rather see them reformed in some way depending upon the character and how they have acted in the story. For instance, Darth Sidous should be killed no matter what but I think it would be better to see Ventress being reformed into, if not a Jedi, someone who fights for the balance. 2. I think timeskips should be used sparingly or at least depending on how they are used. It is common understanding that time passes when observing characters and while they are traveling. Time skips longer than a month should only be used on characters that have undertaken a long voyage or in which they would not have any interactions with the main story. I saw this is Magic of the Force as while the story followed Harry and company, 5 years passed with the rest of the universe. But beyond that long timeskips should only be used in the beginning or when characters will be in a situation that they will not affect the plot in the short term. I also enjoy following other characters and seeing what they do so long as they have or will have relevance for the series. So characters that would be considered main or maybe secondary depending on how following them will affect the main plot. 3. Personally I think you should keep the current format but adjust what you write. So everyone still votes for the large story and one small story but that the second story in the small poll will always be Anything Goes Game Changer until it is completed. 5. I had no problem with it, personally I would have always wondered if Harry and or his mates would be adventurous enough to suggest it. I would not want to see a lemon or a lime in every chapter, as much as I would love it, I think it should only occur when the characters have done something that is romantic whether it be a date or a thoughtful gift. But depending on how people would react or the rules of FanFiction you could always upload the lemon scenes to Patreon.

1. Character deaths: i) Characters who were spared in canon - Depends entirely on your plot development. For example if you need this as an impact for the story. ii) Not MCs anymore - Depends entirely on your plot development. For example if you need this as an impact for the story. iii) Who should be save from death There are some undying cockroaches like Kuno Tatewaki/final enemy, which are still there to annoy the main character as well planned for your story. Keep in mind that EPIC fights like Karasuba are good too here and there, as well that some enemies should survive more than some chapters too, instead of instant done in in one chapter. iv) Which chars I don’t care about- Personally I do not care about those chars I do not like. Moreover, if the story is epic enough …Anything Goes. v) Should you go there - Best is that it's planned for the storyline by you if someone dies or not. (It’s impossible to satisfy all!) You should not go to the degree of a massacre of your cast as with the NGE story ending where there are Rei, Asuka and Shinji the only ones alive. Even if it’s canon, because that canon sucks. Alternate Opinion: There should still be enough characters (including those with a ‘level up’ in power) to get to the ending, and yes, self-sacrificing characters are included here. However, with less surviving characters fighting for the good, it will be much harder than in the endgame fights and less hared/the need of creating new enemies just for having stronger enemies, now you could create then more demons for getting better then. Another Alternate Opinion: Sure, there are great ways to make a last stand and have a last standing character or have a small cast. But more characters bring more potential for mayhem, chaos and development. A single Character on its own is limited, vi) Would it add a level of realism - In short yes it would. Keep in mind that character death is a two handed sword, what with making this story not an upbeat one (similar like Bud Spencer & Terence Hill movies and other upbeat films and series) but because of that, that the characters may be depressed, angstful, revenge, and a whole lot of different emotions. Alternate Opinion: Character death is a two handed sword. Nobody like the bad obnoxious characters. But pick the wrong person to die and you get hate and flames for it, and people stop reading worst case. So yes, it is a good plot device and can really awaken a story, but it will make people curse and load plenty of hate for the one who did it, those who allowed to and the poor writer who had to do it because the idea just fits. 2. A) There is a time and place for everything. B) i) If your plot ‘screams’ for more background for some characters, then yeah. Also, it’s good to have some separate screen time for the main characters, to show how they develop in the story. ii) It is as well good that sometimes there are multiple main-/sideplots happening at the same time, which leads to the grand finale and are as well welcome, as long as they do not spoil too much the end of the story/arc/etc. C) The plot defines if there is a need of a time skip or not. And we do not need every moment or every time the char(s) travel from point A to point B. You can simple let the char tell at the end of it how he felt about that or summarize, or even talk with others about the highlights. As well for ~2 year jump aka DBZ time jump, those safe a purpose as well and can be fun to read, how they developed during that time or have now some mysterious/embarrassing past now they need to be needled out of. Those should be the exception and not the rule, since too long jumps I do not like per se. 3. You are the writer, your muse should dictate which you should write next. ;) In my opinion finishing nearly done stories first, so that the muse can be better directed. :p 4. I would be all for it. It supports your muse as well. ^^ 5. As long as it is not PWP (Plot What Plot), go for it!

MinotaurKing

1) First off don't worry about realism so much its not really important so long as there is no Suspension of Disbelief, seems contradictory I know but SoD is more relevant with the narrative then realism. Now with character deaths as long as it is key to either development of the plot or development of a character relevant to your narrative; then just be sure you will have 100% no use for whomever is killed off otherwise you might write yourself into a corner. Just don't do it flippantly; however no one should be safe NOOONE >:D.

MinotaurKing

2. Yes Show that stuff its interesting and I personally see no downsides to showing it as its great for character development and world building. Yeah short timeskips where nothing plot development or character development is going on are best.

MinotaurKing

3. Keep the current format and just toss your votes behind AGGC. 4. I've enjoyed it and would like to see it continue. 5. Your attempt was fine and made sense contextually. Lemons in general, I would say only show them if they are relevant to the development of the character in them and/or the development of the relationship; otherwise we don't really need to see every instance of sexual intimacy, like your decision to fade out the sex in your most recent chapter of SBH was the right one in my mind.

1. I say if it serves a purpose then kill whoever you need to. I personally have read a few stories where the main character that the reader followed for twenty chapters gets killed off and one of the side characters that was built up a little suddenly got shoved to the front and it worked really well a few times. 2. Interludes are always welcome in my book as it shows us distinct opinions or intentions for other characters that in story the main character might not know. 3. I say stick to what you got now. 4. Same as above. 5. My opinion on this is don't feel forced to add more, but especially with stories like Filfy the relationship between them is an important facet of the story so if you have a scene where they get lovey then no one should have anything to complain about.

Readm

1. I feel that character death is important and adds a lot to a story it really adds a sense of tension that the consequences are real. My only thing is that when you kill a character you have to take into account how it affect the story’s future and who characters will react to he death in more than just the immediate reactions. 2. I like the attention on the side characters at times as it adds to the fullness of their character as well add to the depth of the story as a whole. As for timeskips in general I don’t like them as characters tend not to change during them which makes no sense but I also feel at times they are necessary to move a story along to where it needs to be. 3. Finish Anything Goes Game Changer 4. I liked it 5. A lemon is important every now and than it so go for it 11. Sorry I didn’t read it but I believe in you and I say go for it

1. Awesome when done right. If you make me feel rage and sadness you have done it right. 2. I love knowing a bit more about background characters, that's what spawn most fanfic. Give them a bit of the spotlight, maybe 2k to 5k words for every 15K word chapter would be good. Time skips I can take or leave. They work better in comics, but in stories if you are going to skip years at a time it's probably better to just start a new story. 3. Anything Goes Game Changer. When the muse is hot at the finish line sprint for home. 4. Can't say, just go here ;P 5. Don't force lemons, but if you feel the need and it works where you place it, go for it. This works for fics of shows like DxD who shamelessly pander to the hormonal teenager boner crowd. Just keep giving warnings at the beginning and the end so those who wish to skip it can.

1. It changes the tone of the story, and _should_ hugely impact characters, and readers. Sometimes that's absolutely good and necessary, sometimes it's not. You'll alienate readers if you kill off someone's waifu, or someone broadly popular, or someone unique enough that they're someone's favorite character, which is likely not a _necessary_ sacrifice. Probably avoid killing off attractive female characters, and any characters of whom much fanart gets made, though if you have enough trust from your readers (as you probably do), they'll stick with you even if they don't like what you do. 2. IMO, if the other characters are doing awesome things, particularly if they are awesomer than what they would be doing in canon, go for it. Timeskips can be done well, or done poorly. If you personally hate timeskips, then if you can find instances of timeskips you don't hate in other stories, use those as a basis for deciding when to do it yourself. 3. I'd say rush to the end iff you know exactly what you're going to write next (I assume you're going to use the opportunity of a fic ending to start another primary one). If you don't know, then keep talking and holding poles, and write whatever is most popular, and vote for whatever you most want to write (which could be AGGC). 4. Patreon-only stories are tough, as it makes patreon less appealing to those who dislike the current stories, but like your other stories; particularly because voting isn't possible on the patreon-only stories. Personally, I think access to the polls is plenty, and early access to some chapters would be an easy and broadly-appealing addition. Other things I'd love to see include something like a snippets thread, where you write the first chapter of a bunch of different possible fics, with or without any voting guidance (if that fits your writing process). 5. I'd say too _much_ lemon would be more than a third of the chapter (unless much serious plot happens), while too-lemony lemon is probably more based on your confidence in your own skills. Too-kinky lemon is a potential risk, but I haven't read the FILFy chapter to comment.

R Brown

1) Don't kill a character just for the sake of it, but don't shy away if it make sense in story. For example: You have a Boss and a Minion. The Boss is notorious for killing anyone that fails him. In canon, the Minion was always successful and thus safe. If the new storyline has the Minion failing, then don't push yourself to engineer a reason to keep him alive. 2) Yes. Short sections of another character or POV can be interesting. Timeskips are to be avoided if possible. 3) Depends on your muse. If your muse is really pushing the story forward and delaying it will hurt your ability to write, then yes. 4) Not sure. 5) Whatever level that you feel comfortable with.
