Hey all. Fate Touched is off to Nad Destroyer for editing, and I have begun work turning 7,000 words worth of notes into the next Magic of the Force chapter. So it is time to start the next round of questions I mentioned a few times before. Once more, I would like to thank everyone who gave me their opinions on those questions. It was a lot of help, especially the question about Sairaorg, and Novus’s immense help in painting a picture of Egypt in modern times for me. That allowed me to make several decisions I had to make about the next chapters of FILFY.

Now on to the new questions:

First, Stallion of the line

1.  I am having a problem with Logia powers. I understand very well how various logia users can fight normal people, that’s easy. But what about elements that aren’t the exact opposite of one another? Light versus sand? Ice versus Sand? Light versus Ice? Lightning vs Magma? I just don’t know. So I am wondering if in some ways, logia users would find their powers entirely canceled out by one another, and forced to resort to other skills, or less direct means of using their power. For example, light melting the sand? Or Ice covering the sand and freezing it, shattering it into chunks? Would that even hurt a Sand Sand User? I just don’t know, and would like everyone’s opinion on this one.

2. And now for a weird one. I had Urd tweak things with Ivankov’s power so that Ranma kept his curse. If/when they meet up, and after Ranma gets done pummeling him, should Ivankov’s hormone-hormone fruit be able to cancel his curse back out? - I can come up with an explanation, I’m just wondering if that would be hilarious/interesting enough to do?

3. Should I include an arc dealing with Shiki the Lion? – I love some of the fights and his Devil Fruit, but…. I’ve already dipped twice into the whole ‘stealing a defeated opponent’s DF’ so I am not certain it would serve any purpose. I could use it during the timeskip (yes, it will happen, several of the crew need training before they enter the New World) but I am uncertain.

FILFy Teacher:

1.  This is a magic type question.  Should Harry, as King of Danan, be able to temporarily connect on of Danan's ley-lines to Yasaka so she can travel there freely?  Or is that too serendipitous/good to be true/easy?

2. Should Rias or one of the other ladies (Not Akeno, I already have plan there) gain a power-up from somewhere in Danan?  Some item on the level of a Sacred Gear or other?  Or should I stick to transfer of knowledge instead of power?

3.  Are Sirzechs and Grayfia interesting enough characters that I should write out their investigations in Greece and their attempts to storm Hades (the realm and the god), or just report on the outcome?  Or, conversely, put it in later as a flashback?

Magic of the Force:

1.  I need the name of a class of Corellian heavy cruiser – by which I mean the same size/type of combatant as a katana class – that was produced during or prior to the Clone Wars. Yes, the classification of SW capital ships are all over the place. Barring an actual type, what would be the name of such a class of ship?

2. Was it ever mentioned who at Kuat Drive Yards developed the Lancer-class Frigate?

3. Is Ahsoka at 16 (yes I aged her up) too young to consider adding into the multi-relationship around Harry and Aayla? - Regardless there will be trouble with her padawan bond to Harry and his bond with Aayla, but I am just wondering.

4. Is Savage Oppress an interesting enough character to introduce in the distant future with Maul dead many times over?

5. I would like the name of 5 Jedi who could reasonably have been seen to be lured to the Dark Side during the Clone Wars. I want to add to Dominus’s Dark Acolytes beyond those in canon.

5. And now for the biggie: My take on Sidious has always been that beyond his abilities to use the Veil of the Force and hide himself so well, Sidious was most dangerous for three things:

a. His political acumen. Remember in canon he declared himself emperor and every Senator cheered him – and this wasn’t just because they were scared. By the end of the war he really was that popular.

b. His mastery of multitasking. I mean he was at the head of a conspiracy that spanned from one side of a million planet polity to the other. Even though the Sith had set the foundation of that for a thousand years, he was still the one making all the decisions when it came to it.

c. His ability to roll with the punches. His ability to adapt events, even those he didn’t see coming through the Force and use them to better his position or the Great Plan.

In Horse I have played more than a little bit with the last two (it’s not easy to juggle when one of the balls insists on turning into a chainsaw randomly). In Horse, I haven’t quite done so just yet, not to the same extent as in Horse. However, more blows are coming, several of them very important to the Great Plan, such as his discovering the Jedi’s mass evacuation. So my question is, have I overplayed Sidious’s ability to roll with the punches so far? Or should the punches, especially that one, start to tell?

Bhaalson Remodel, the first of which are only for those who have played the original:

1. After the last chapter, I think that Edwin needs a friend. So I was thinking of introducing Alora in Gullykin. Problem is, I have never played with her. I know that she has a lot of dialogue with him, and would like to build on that, so if anyone could help me there, that would be great. And is it true that she and Dynaheir don’t get along solely due to Alora befriending Edwin? Harsh.

2. I want to hurry and introduce Viconia, but I cannot remember if there was a reason why she was out in the boonies east of the Friendly Arm Inn. Was there?

3. Now onto the questions everyone who has read the fic can answer. First, What did you all think of the upgrades available to Harry due to his Tactics skill leveling up? Lame, good, meh?

4. Warhammer or longsword for Harry’s preferred weapon? This will impact the loot they find if I can swing it.

5. Does everyone like the way I am treating the Character sheets in this work? Or should I provide more information – like showing the life skills, the percentage skills and so forth. For Imoen as a thief these are really important going forward, so I am wondering.

And finally, the Anime Addventure Homage posts.

I just would like to know your thoughts about them. Do you like them and did they assuage my Ranma fans for how much HP took over this month? Conversely to you hate them and if so, why?  And before anyone says they take time away from the rest of my writing the last post was, what 5,000 words? I wrote that in a little under two hours without the use of Dragon Naturally Speaking. For some reason building on the original Addventure posts is really easy.

Regarding Stalion of the Line: 1. I think go with your intuition on it. Most Logia fruits can combat each other to some degree. While there's a definite scaling of power among them, creative use of the weaker fruits can certainly see them fight on somewhat equal footing to those who possess stronger elements. Like Ace vs. Akainu in the manga. Magma outclasses simple Fire, but Ace did manage to fight back a bit when he was more indirect with his attacks. I think the same could apply to Sand vs. Magma or Sand vs. Ice. 2. No. Just don't. You've already settled that Raffy was more accustomed to thinking of the curse as part of hinself in this go-around. It's more firmly a part of his identity, even if there's still some dissonance from his last life. And you've also established that for any relationship to be meaningful to Raffy, even if he isn't fully aware of it yet, they have to be attracted to him in equal meaure regardless of his present physical form. There's inplications in what Robin said this mostbrecent chapter and what Raffy has hinted in conversations and speech, that I'm not sure have fully made their way into your own awareness--not to imply anything; just that that's sometimes part of the writing process that the characters outgrow your own initial conceptions of them. And, beyond all of that, I think it just adds an interesting dimension to his character that would be lost if the curse was removed. Not to mention, I don't think the drama and tension tjat results from adusting to thst could actually be half as intriguing as a deep dive into Raffy's psychology down the line. 3. Please do Shiki! It's such a great movie, one of the best non-canon storylines of the whole series, and it'd be so interesting to see it how it would be moded for the changed crew and their adjusted personalities/abilities.

In regards to magic of the force, I would say that Ahsoka isn’t too young, and maybe have her slowly drift into the pairing over the course of the next year. Have the bond cause some sort of issues that draw them together. As for savage oppress, I would say not in regards to him being a Sith acolyte but possibly some sort of arc that brings Harry and co. to dathomir, maybe some sort of investigation into Ventress. As for Sidious, I do really like the way you’ve portrayed him so far. He is supposed to be the man behind the curtain pulling all the strings and with a lot of power to bring to bear. I would love to see him take a hit to his cool and collected behaviour somewhere though. It would be interesting to see a reaction to one of the setbacks, like the evacuation to Ruusan, to cause him to make a mistake and be a little overzealous in an attack, political or otherwise, against the Jedi. Not enough to out him or anything, but enough to give the Jedi some room to manoeuvre. Obviously this is all speculation and ideas on my part. You do you because you have some of the most well written stories I’ve come across so far. Keep up the good work!

I am enjoying you anime addventure homage posts.

For the logia at the very least sand is very weak to ice, the whole thing with sand in canon was hardening it and thats the entire ability of Ice. I might even say the Ice logia is sands natural enemy. Though, I think you should just go for it with most matchups. 2) Iva shouldn't be able to cancel the curse, Dragon would have had him do it immediately if he could. 3) I think you should include Shiki, that movie was very good. I am enjoying the anime addventures and hope you continue with them.

Stallion 1 - I think you would end up with a combination of element affinity and mastery of their powers. To use Ace and Smoker as examples, at one extreme you could have Ace growing so hot that he evaporates Smoker's smoke. On the flip side Smoker with absolute mastery could suffocate Ace's fire. Ace and Akainu's fight also points to the elemental match-ups mattering, although you will undoubtedly get a lot of people arguing about which side of any given match-up should win. 2 - A temporary curse removal could be fun and provide options for a bunch of different character interactions, but I wouldn't want it removed permanently since Ranma is so comfortable with it now (for the most part). 3 - maybe not a full arc, but letting some of the crew deal with it as a side mission? Magic 5 - I definitely think the punches should start to matter. Competent enemies are one thing, but if they have the perfect answer to every situation or a backup plan that just happens to invalidate everything the heroes achieved it just makes them feel cheap and, honestly, kind of boring.

Anime Addventure Homage I'm enjoying them so far. I didn't read the originals, so all of it is fresh to me.

In regards to FILFY. 1. Yes! I love Yasaka but her lack of freedom from her home base is hurting the growth in the relationship. you can even make Yasaka something like her shrine maiden status for Danan. 2. I really do think this is the perfect time for an overall power up for everyone. You can do something like harry being able to 'bless' anyone he wants which will act like the god of the bibles blessing. Something like protection from mental and/or status effects, boost to mana levels, boost to physical stats, boost to anything really. you can use a mix of elements for a 'general' power boost rather than adding something new. OR, instead of a blessing, you can add something that would compliment each person. for example, Rias only really uses teleportation and power of destruction so maybe add something to improve her thought processing speed, her way of manipulating her powers, or even a weapon like a staff and blade. play around with some idea's. 3. Please summarize! i would rather read some more family or romance moments rather than read the adventure of other side characters. And on the topic of greece, i've actually read a few great fics where the greek gods were NOT on the side of Hades. food for thought on that one.

Readm

Bhaalson Remodel 1. Its not just that Alora’s friendly with Edwin it’s also because Dynaheir doesn’t approve of thieves. 2. Yeah after she left the underdark at some point in time she is accused of murdering a farmer in his family and the reason you find her where you find her where you di is couse she’s being chased by a flaming fist officer for that crime it’s never really explained if she actually committed it though 3. I like the tactic upgrades 4. So are you still planning on harry using a shield/magic if so he would be limited to 1 handed weapons. There’s a lot of good one handed Paladin-only swords but hammers are just super useful and the Crom is damn near the best one handed weapon in the game. Me plus he’s already started to Max it out why can’t he use both. 5. I like the way you’re currently doing it but if you feel like it’s important I’m not gonna say no, more info is always better in my opinion

Woolleymammoth

Answers to FILFY 1. I think that would be within his abilities wheelhouse. 2. I think Rias should get something. In the anime she got her own boosted gear scale male just like akeno did. I always felt Rias was underpowered and overshadowed by her brother. If you want each to get something. Yasaka could get access to leylines. Yubella could get some kind of boost in her bandrui powers from Harry. Kala could get knowledge of the armor and weapons forging that was hinted at from fawkes feather the ones made of light. I feel kala is the weakest of them and needs a boost. 3. According to the anime/manga and wiki. Sirzechs is more powerful then hades on the Top 10 most powerful beings list. I would think a summary would be best, like Rias gets a report from her brother and summarized it to the family. 4. I hope you bring rossweisse in the harem to have ties to the Norse. Just saying. Thank you so much for all the time you put into your awesome writing!

Stallion 1: When it comes to fighting other logia a lot of it comes down to the stronger fruit. Like how ace lost to akainu’s magma since his magma was hotter/ better haki. My best thought for most logia vs logia would be if they are a direct counter to the other or a stronger version. Though sand vs ice I would say that freezing him solid would capture them and they would be fine if they melted, unless haki was implemented. It’s hard to say really. Maybe make it so that imbuing logia attacks with haki requires the advanced haki used in the Wano arc. 2: Making it possible to undo it would be an interesting option. But then that would kill off any interesting girl/girl moments. I’m fine with either tbh. It’s kinda part of the appeal of most of your Ranma fics. 3: The Shiki fight would be cool. Though you can make it so that the specific type of fruit his fruit reincarnates into is not nearby so that they don’t get it. Or they can get it and sell it or give it to an allied crew down the line.

Treant Balewood

Stallion of the line 2.Nah I've always thought that taking the '1/2' out of 'Ranma 1/2' should be done sparingly because you lose something 3. Well I do like Shiki but I definitely wouldn't mind moving forwards more Horse 1.His adaptability is legendary and rightfully so but i wouldn't mind if he threw a tantrum or started to lose it abit Bhaalson Remodel 1. Never played her either, and seems like yeah 2. You know i never thought about it but think back I don't think so 3. meh/good but leaning towards good 4. Longsword 5. I like it but i wouldn't mind if you changed it i just don't think it necessary Anime Addventure Homage 1. Enjoying it so far

AC DC 1C 2C

Stallion: 1) On Logia vs Logia fights, unless there's direct superiority involved then I think that it will come down to a contest of imagination and simply 'who can find the best way around the other.' Logia Fruits, like all Devil Fruit, are only as strong as the user can make them meaning that it would become a contest of who could get the most out of their Fruit to counter the effects of the other 2. I actually enjoy how you handle Ranma's curse and how it affects him and how he comes to accept it. Personally, I wouldn't get rid of it, but I will leave the final decision to your discretion. 3. I personally love Strong World and would love to see your take on it. As for the stealing DF thing...well it just sounds like a valid strategy when you're dealing with a reincarnating magic piece of produce. As the old wisdom goes, 'if it isn't broke, don't fix it.'

Diego D'Andrea

For FILFy 1) Yes but I would limit it. In the sense that Harry can connect to the ley-lines, but only with a ritual, so it's not something he can do quickly. Kind of like When they created the wards around Kuoh. 2) Yes Rias definitely deserves an upgrade. And if it didn't seem too much, I'd give Dagda's cauldron to Asia or maybe Kala. 3) Yes I want to see Sirzech and Grayfia in action.

Novus

I'm glad you found the infromation on Egypt useful :-)! As to the new round of questions: Stallion: 1) I'm honestly as lost on that one as you are. I think the original author just made it up as they went along, since Logia fruit vs Logia fruit fights were pretty rare. The only thing I can really add is to point out that the one consistent thing that seems to be cannon is that there are 'tiers' of power among the Logia fruits, with complex elements having the edge over simple ones. Magma beating Fire is one example, but there are others as well, I think. Aside from that...I think you might be looking at it as more of an issue than it needs to be. Why should you treat logia vs logia any differnt than Parmcia vs Logia or Parmcia vs Parmica? After all...the strongest man in the world (Whitebeard before his death) was a Parmica user! Devli Fruits always seem to come down to the creativity and will of their user, more than anything else... 2) Meh, I tihnk leaving the curse as-is might be better. This version of Ranma has come to accept it as part of his/her personality/sense-of-self. 3) No opinion really, as I don't think I ever saw/read that storyline. Magic of the Force: 1) Okay...this is an odd one, as the old (pre Disney Cannon wipe) sourcebooks and such indicated that CEC(the main ship maker for Coreilla) was an odd duck in that, unlike Kuat and others, it actually made the vast majoirty of it's money on Civilian sales rather than military contracts. When the DID make Capital Ships, it tended to be becuase someone had subcontracted the work out to them. I.E. CEC Built Start Destroyers were noted to be amount the fastest in the Imperial Fleet (Explaining Han Solo's comment in A New Hope). As such, there isnt a known Coreilla-only design for anything bigger than a light cruiser (The Outlands Security Force Crusiers you already used were CEC Built Light Cruisers). You'd basically just have to make one up from whole cloth. 2) I believe it was proposed by an Imperial Admiral as a counter to Trench Run Disese (after the Death Star), but so far as I know, the actua designer isn't known. 3) ... I'm 50/50 on this one. I think it COULD work, but the real question would be maturity levels rather than physical age. If her maturity levels match the 16 year old version of her in Cannon...probably? But that version of her had seen a ton of action during the Clone Wars already... 4) Just a flat NO, on that one. He was a dumbass character in both design and execution. 5) ....None immediately spirng to mind. You've already delved pretty deep into the list of known Jed. 6) Sidious - I think that at least a few of the big surprises, such as the Jedi Evacuation and the actual Size/Power of the GDL fleet should probably start to throw him off somewhat. Not to the point of total metldown, but enough for the cracks to start showing... BhaalSpawn Remodel 1) I'm afraid I'm not much help here. I've played with Alora...but I HATE Edwin's (Seriously, I cackled with mad glee when he died, a little bit at least) guts, so I've never played with him for very long. Alora might well rub her the wrong way all on her own, though, since she's even more sweetness and perky light than the original Imoen was. And I can see that annoying her a bit. 2) Viconia was running from a flaming fist officer that wanted her for the Murder of a farmer and his family. I don't know that it was every proven one way or another if she'd actually done so, though I doubt it given the low profile she tended to try and keep throughout both games. 3) I think they were pretty good, particularly the observation boost, which might well have a lot of implications down the road. 4) Honestly, the only reasons it would really matter would be that A) There are a LOT more good/named longswords in the games, if you're wanting to give them actual lore items. B) He has a teacher on hand for the longsword, not so much for the warhammer. 5) I think you've got it nailed pretty well. Too much detail is actually what tends to kill gamer-fics, I think. So your current balance is quite nice, I'd say.

Gappler

for stallion: 1) Id say the logia powers, it kinda comes down to what properties we have seen and maybe a little of how they are used. for instance, i doubt a sandstorm could be frozen in place completely, maybe just the base and most concentrated areas. light would usually have heat, it did seem to burn holes in people, so melting/fusing sand would make sense. lightning or magma would melt/fuse sand as well, even if differently. lighting would probably be concentrated bursts like a lightning storm, while magma could melt/fuse in larger chunks as based on the attacks done. (surface area). 2) I have prefered ranma with the curse here, and the interactions it brings, so I do prefer to see it stay, but messing with it and ranmas reaction might be funny. I think that ranma interacting with the okamas en-mass and those that change gender frequently by choice will really mess with him. That said, I dont know if Ivonkovs power would remove the curse. I could see it take ranma from male to female or vice versa, but I feel it would be maybe a lesser change than from the curse. like ranma, becomes a girl, but retains black hair and more height. I mean sure there is the likelyhood that the curse is the person if born the opposite gender, but I have to think there is also some magic enhancement going on there.

Kariston Draconis

Stallion: 1. The use of powers not diametrically opposite to each other would depend on the characters and their skill-sets I would imagine, can't really offer anything more than that since I'm not a One Piece fan. 2. It would be interesting to see Ranma having to adjust to not having the curse after having had it for so long, having to unlearn his automatic compensations for when the curse used to be triggered. But if you decide not to go that route, that's cool too. 3. Again, not a One Piece fan, so all I can say is, do it if you want to, don't if you don't. FILFY: 1. What's wrong with something being too easy every once in a while, especially if it works out for the good guys completely. Do it, I say. 2. Knowledge is power. 3. They're interesting characters, so I want to see what happens, but they're not the main characters, so make it a flashback. Or, do something you haven't done before, make it a stand-alone side story, that way those who want to can read it, and those who don't can ignore it easily. AAH: I like them for what they are, they're better than nothing.

Safetyhazart

For Stallion of the LIne 1) I would think that in cases were two powers cancele ach other victory would usually go to the fighter who has the greater combat experience as well as the greater mastery of their power. But then again things like fighting a sand user in the desert during the a heat wave could really mess with an ice type user. Just as the reverse would be true if a sand user fought against an ice type somewhere with a lot of water and not naturaly occuring sand. So in my opinion the battle would be decided bye tings like the general experience, experience with the use of their power and possibly any advantages gained through the battlefield.. 2) Fort he curse I would leave it. Afterall Jusenkyo is a major part of Ranma1/2 and it has played a part in this fic already. Besides Luffy has already come to see it a spart of himself ( if at times an anoying part). But you could definitly use the people who constantly flip genders bye choice as a way to mess with Luffy and Sanji. Could be a lot of fun for us readers. Also now that Robin and Nami had theire talk and actually mentioned the curse as part oft he challeng of being with Luffy removing it would take away from their relationship. 3) I would not mind seeing this but at the same time i also would like for the main story line to continue. Loking forward how you handle the Marineford thing. I fit even comes to that. Hint hint nudge nudge 😉 But in the end I will take what you as the priliant author you are come up with.

GreedOnGreed

ADVENTURE: I liked it but it would be interesting if Ranma ended up as the princess's guard or familiar.

Tomon

Stallion: 1) Elemental damage is effective against logia users, but it needs to be of a 'correct' element. Either it needs to weaken the element the logia posses (make it solid, make it weaker, etc) or damage it outright. In case of two logia DF fighting against each other it always depends on the specific elements in question. They rarely just cancel each other out. But they may not be effective against the adversary at all. Very good example a canon fight of Ace against Smoker -> you can't burn smoke but you also can't really smother fire with smoke alone. They kinda coexist. In that case it's fully possible for them to not be able to hurt each other at all -> the same thing that often happens to normal peoples against Logia if they don't posses haki or seastone. Of course you can get creative with it. Lighting so powerful that it's gonna turn the sand into silica glass, thus damaging Sand DF user is quite obvious. But Freezing the Sand person itself and just shattering him/her should, in fact, be pretty harmless to the sand user. But what if the ice powers are used as weak as they could be? So weak in fact, that you barely cover your enemy in hoarfrost not worth talking about? Kinda just making them wet... And oops, suddenly the Sand user can be damaged by pretty much any means. That being said Sand user can also absorb water so you may not be very safe in Frost form against this attack thus making the Sand fruit being the more dangerous in this scenario. As long as you can justify it I think readers will be okay with almost anything ;) For example if the Ice user is super powerful, you could say the sand is frozen to such extent that each grain is brittle enough for the next damage to grind it on basic level and thus damaging the Sand user. Feel free to ask me about specific DF vs DF situation ;) I like coming with similar ideas. 2) Let's the madness ensue :-D I always wondered if Ivankov fruit is one where if his target is dunked into the sea it would cancel most of what she has done to the poor soul. But given how Luffy curse work out you can go really crazy with that. I don' think Ivankov can fully get rid of Luffy curse, given Urd action, but turning it around? Hot water making Luffy into female and cold water making him a guy? That's definitely possible :-D And while it could actually make easier for Luffy to keep his normal form, there definitely would be new challenges :) Bye bye steamy hot showers :-D 3) Now that would be awesome DF power for the ship. Or a way for Makino to get rid of her fears of heights? =) I would definitely include Shiki. You can mix the arc around but the whole strong world was pretty cool and I like him as adversary. And to me it only makes sense that if Luffy and his crew knew about DF respawn they will try go for it. Honestly ignoring it seems more foolish to me. Regarding having too much DF at hand... Well who of them really wants to eat some? So it's not exactly making them too OP. Further, you could also make them fail. They more often then not don't know which fruit is gonna turn. So make them loose some DF they actually really want to. Because sadly there wasn't any banana around "better luck next time suuuckers!" :-D And time skip involving hunting of the DF users as a form of training could also be interesting :-D Especially if Franky(?) and Laki would actually learn how to absorb DF abilities into thing(s) ;) Or if you feel it to soon, just preparing for this eventuality. FILFy: 1) I think it should definitely work, but maybe he would truly need to accept her as his 'queen'? Sort of 'only rulers of this place can have this power' kind of thing? :) And that could prove slightly problematic in some aspects ;) 2) I say go for it. Something good for Rias is in order I think, but there are of course other candidates as well. But honestly I would love to see Rias getting something, especially if it's something that one wouldn't connect to devils at all. Something... pure? Not sure what though. But anyway something which would end up enforcing the idea that Asia is fond of saying lately - that the devils are good people :) I love this part so I would like to see it reinforced. 3) Depends... Do you have good enough idea for the pair storming the place? It could definitely be interesting to see them in action :) So in my opinion go for it. On the other hand I won't mind flashback either so it's really up to you and what you have in mind. Magic 1) / 2) / 3) Well, with Ahsoka personality she sure would be tempted :-D If she can truly join... Depends. Probably doable but I wouldn't force it, so let it grow naturaly? :) 4) Sure, why not. 5) / 6) He is still very arrogant. He will roll with the punches as long as he find how to use it for his own plans. But once he fails at doing so - some event just being plain bad to him and also important enough he will snap and then there can be tells. Him beign too reckless in some plans, or not covering tracks as well enough as he should and so on. He can still get his equilibrium back, but there should be some cracks ;)

Nobody

FILFy: 1) It would be nice to see Yasaka get some more time with the extended family without her having to suffer for it. 2) It would be interesting to see Rias get a power boost, especially if you could link it to an aspect of Motherhood. That would surprise some and not others. 3) I would really enjoy seeing your take on those two having an adventure of their own. Would be mighty interesting to see how two canon true powerhouses handle those situations.

Darth Bayes

Disclaimer: I am not 100% up to date on all of these stories. Stallion: 1. Some important questions, which I think make the answer clearer: A) Does it cost a logia use anything to stay in logia form? Stamina, concentration, haki, hit points, ki? If so, what happens if they are stuck in logia form and run out (e.g. if they are frozen into a sand sculpture)? Death? Unconsciousness? They are forced back to human form, which might cause their body to be ripped apart? A coma until they can revert to human form? B) How large can a logia user make their logia form? Can they generate more material endlessly? Does this cost anything? Is it related to material—a diamond form would be hard, but a fire form naturally dissipates over time and is cheaper due to low density? C) Can a logia user incorporate ambient matching material into their form? Sand in a desert? Sand created earlier by using their logia form? D) What happens if the entirety of a logia user’s form is destroyed? E.g. it is fire, but they are forced under(fresh)water? Because of the example of fire, light, electricity, etc., I think B must be pretty cheap. I don’t know that we’ve ever seen A. We’ve seen C from Caesar. D seems to be the normal way that logia users counter each other. Therefore, I think the answer is that if you can’t destroy material faster than a logia user can create or absorb it, you can’t damage them that way. The rate of material production is based on the density of the material (as far as I can tell from the logia wiki article), and we don’t know if everyone can absorb materials like Caesar—he had a particularly broad fruit, and a particularly creative mindset. 2. Do you mean temporarily or permanently? Temporarily for sure, permanently, are the reasons you wanted him to have it still valid? Would he want to still have it? You could justify pretty much anything with “Urd did it” 3. IDK FILFy 1A. What is a ley-line? Is it just a big underground flow of magic? Does connecting it to someone mean rerouting it into/through their body, or dropping something made out of their blood and hair into it that they can sympathetically access it remotely, or what? 1B. Could Harry connect a Ley line to anyone? Is this a straight up power boost? Will everyone in Japan start bribing him to do this to them? Has everyone else in Japan already done this to themselves? How many Ley lines can one be connected to? 1C. Do you need to be near a Ley-line to stay connected to it? What does “near” mean, given the existence of magic? Could you be “near” something through a space distortion or portal? If you buried a horcrux or other piece of your soul or something similar in a Ley-line? What about blood magic and sympathetic magic? 1D. Does a Ley line run between Danan and Kyoto? Could one? Do Ley lines need to follow conventional geography? Conventional 3-D geometry? What can Harry do with Ley lines? What consequences would that have? Who would care? 2. I’m generally in favor of spreading around the power-ups, but that seems like it would imply that there are a lot of available power-ups in Danan, which seems like something bigger than just Rias. I suppose it could be something less-portable and less-applicable though, like a location filled with a power a lot like destruction to learn from/mimic, or something. 3. My amateur advice is outline it and decide whether it is more interesting to you than whatever else you’d be writing, in which case it would probably be at least as interesting for everyone else. Force 6. I am always in favor of competent and adaptable villains. Also, a huge galaxy full of weird things probably requires a lot of adaptability. Also, politics. Why does Sidious want to get rid of the Jedi in the first place? My guesses: A. They make people feel safe, and make them desire a strong military less (Empire plans) B. They compete with him for recruiting force potentials C. They have legal authority to do a lot of things that would interfere with his plans, like investigate places that seem like they are training darksiders. D. They have political power, and are opposed to certain political goals of his, like greater centralization E. They have precognitive/divinatory powers, which could lead them to respond problematically early to certain things he might do they would dislike F. A lot of people like and trust them, which amplifies the problems of them being against him. So one part of the path seems clear—neuter them politically. Leaving coruscant, abandoning the Republic, failing their mandate, something something Ruusan Reformation. Fabricate evidence of them stealing valuable things when they left. Fabricate evidence of them spying on private conversations between senators. Stage false-flag attacks supporting whatever they’re being accused of. Have things they have traditionally handled like peace negotiations fail, only to be saved by the efforts of the Senate and the Chancellor's office. "Discover" that many past deals negotiated by the Jedi were actually really bad deals for the Senate/Core. Make their justifications look weak and like they’re hiding something. Etc. Convince everyone that the Jedi have failed. Then turn on whatever polity they are now most associated with, and accuse them of warmongering. Bribes, false flags, planted data, mind control. They must have been planning this for a while. They’re seeking power to overthrow the Senate. They’re cooperating with the separatists. They’ve been sabotaging the war effort. The Jedi were getting their clones killed intentionally to harm the Republic! Accuse them all of treason anyway, and you’re back at most of Order 66 done. Suddenly, with the Jedi’s sabotage of the war effort, and a new enemy, it looks like increased war investment is needed. Clearly the Jedi and certain places that were cooperating with them were given too much freedom. We need more centralization. An Empire! Without the legal ability to search Republic/Empire space for force potentials, that’s one issue gone. A nominally-under-Senate-control force user academy is an obvious next step, and of course everyone expects there to be a secret one under Republic Intelligence too. As for the precognitive powers, see if you can distract them somehow, with the Vong or something. Make plans to bait the Vong towards the Jedi on their way into the galaxy, using Zonoma Sekot or something. Get them distracted with things other than his plans. See what he can work out for information-hiding methods, perhaps based on magic. Show surface-level banal, power-hungry evil, military expansionism, and training of non-Sith weaponized force users, to make people think they don’t need to look deeper. Maybe talk about also needing a military for acquiring newly-discovered valuable technology from newly-discovered polities in the Unknown Regions, perhaps showing enchanted items as an example, and talking about the technological benefits. Etc.

Stallion of the Line: 1. I would think that without direct counters, it costs a logia user energy to use their element, not a lot, but some, and it takes more energy to create it than to use it, so destroying their element and making them create more would wear them out faster, like ice/sand/magma, while something like lightning and light already spend most of their time creating their element and so usually have a higher normal power cost because they are constantly creating, instead of just manipulating what’s already there. But those types also likely have more energy because they are used to it so any training they’ve done would offset that. I would also assume that unless someone was completely new to their logia power that they would have the auto-defense portion of it active at all times, so surprise wouldn’t allow damage to creep through. I also think it would be psychological. If the sand user is convinced that they are losing because their sand keeps getting melted/frozen/whatever they will eventually lose because they believe that they are losing. however, I think that most of the time logia users don’t fight because they know it takes a while and when one starts to run out of energy they probably focus on escaping instead of winning and keeping a logia user trapped is hard. That’s why the marines use seastone to fight. Actually, on that note, I wonder if a logia user could imbue their element with haki to be able to harm other logia users. I don’t think we’ve seen it, but ramna/luffy is exactly the kind of guy to think of trying it. 2. I don’t think the hormone fruit should cancel it out. Ranma’s curse I think is technically the body of the drowned girl. I think he should be able to be turned into a female version of himself with black hair and a male version of the redhead, and transforming would actually over-ride the hormone hormone fruit’s current application. 3. I had to look up shiki the lion. I wasn’t familiar with him. I would say he doesn’t seme to bring any special growth to the table, nobody gets any interesting abilities or growth spurts of resources out of him that I could see with a quick lookup, but he is a good, established strong opponent for the crew to fight and get experience with, so he would be useful as just another already existing danger to overcome I would say. FILFY: 1. First, I would say that Kyoto does have a river running through it so theoretically mr danan danan the water man should be able to travel to Kyoto with practice, but I don’t think that there is any ‘connecting’ of ley lines that would help yasaka the way you describe. My understanding of how ley-lines usually work is that they are all connected like a major grid, but different types have essentially different access. What I think harry might be able to do is help teach yasaka to spread her connection to the Kyoto ley lines further through the worlds ley line system so that she can be away from Kyoto for longer with less energy expenditure and effort. She would have to stay on earth, no dimension hopping for her, but eventually I think once she has master that skill, she could be connected to any ley-line on the planet and have enough connection o Kyoto, but that would primarily have to be a mental perspective shift, for her to believe that there really isn’t a ‘Kyoto ley line’ she’s connected to, but the earth ley line that happens to be at Kyoto, so being connected to any earth ley line would be the same. It would also let her be at full power anywhere on the planet (give or take, some areas would have thinner or thicker ley lines for her to access for powerups) I do think this is something that harry can teach her though, because his connection to the worlds water leylines would help with the perspective shift. And maybe you would make there be separate grids, water leylines, earth ley lines, and air ley lines, and yasaka is connected to the earth ley lines. 2. I definitely think that the bandrui should find some sort of upgrade, possibly a mutation of her sacred gear. There also might be some sort of a small trove of the Danan’s greatest non-combat treasures hidden away, which the unseelie would have at least acquired if not been using, because all the combat related stuff would have been used against the invaders and already been destroyed or turned into sacred gears. Maybe something related to growth, rebirth, or crafting. Actually, isn’t kalawarmer supposed to eventually become a craftsman? Maybe either a magical forge is located there that tey can take with him, or a large quantity of special ‘alchemical’ silver, some divinely mutated version of silver that the craftsman of the danan like goibniu used to craft non-iron weapons and tools that would be effective against supernatural enemies. but aside from that, I think it would mostly be knowledge that the group gets out of the trip *EDIT* full credit above to Michael who had the great idea to give rias something related to motherhood or family. i really like this idea and will research if i can find something suitable 3. I don’t really find Sirzechs and Grayfia interesting. Grayfia is too boring on her own, and Sirzechs is just annoying in personality 95% of the time unless he’s being used as comedic relief, and both are so OP that anything they ever take seriously is basically a curbstomp and completely uninteresting. Unless it’s an actual fight with something on their level, like hades, I think it would be best to be reported later or seen through snippet flashbacks Magic of the Force: 1. If you want something to be a retrofitted heavy cruiser that was a freighter, like 90% of the stuff, the Gozanti-class cruiser is a good place to start. If you want a name for a new custom designed class of military grade heavy cruiser, I would imagine that corellia would give it an appropriately militaristic name (like how they consular class was named) so it should be something like the guardian, bulwark, defender, or dauntless class 2. I have no idea 3. I do think that ahsoka is too young to be added into the harry aayla multi-relationship. While padawans are supposed to be mature beyond their ages, ahsoka simply doesn’t have the depth of experience necessary to become a balanced part of the relationship. She hasn’t had the life experience necessary to be an equal partner in the relationship, which is a necessity given how any expansion of the relationship would have to work through/with/around harry and aayla’s bond. By the time she’s grown enough and experienced enough to be a suitable addition, the story will likely be over and the relationship settled into it’s final form already. I would think that it’s only the ahsoka of the post clone wars rebellion era that would be a suitable relationship addition, and she’s got a long ways to go to get there. I think instead she should eventually fall more into the younger sister/niece, rather than daughter, roll, after some rough times getting there, towards the entire relationship group as a whole, not just harry/aayla on a side note, I don’t think that harry and aayla have tried bridging padme into their bond on a temporary level. We know that she isn’t a force sensitive, but that ‘weirdness’ about her may be enough to let her join the bond, even if she cannot do anything else with it. (obviously, this would have to happen later when she becomes a more committed and consistent part of the relationship, not in her current status as a long-distance partner) 4. I think that savage and or talzin could be interesting if they find out how maul is being repeatedly cloned, because it might make them more actively antagonistic to palpy, but aside from that they’re not terribly interesting other than just being already existent darksiders 5. Pong Krell, Pablo-Jill, Agen Kolar, Bultar Swan, Nicana Tassu are all named jedi that were in the clone wars/battle of geonosis. You could also try to make barris offee and luminara be his puppets, maybe just luminara be a puppet and have him attempt to corrupt barris through luminara (that would have to be a more active/recent event, something like them being captured, not him having already gotten to them in the past before he left the jedi) 6. I feel like Sidious is very good at rolling with punches that are political because he has such control there, and he can absically handle almost anything that happens politically. I think that when groups/people he controls or manipulates act out he’s slightly less able to handle it, but that he has so many ‘tools’ that he mostly just rolls with it and moves on to a new tool, but eventually that gets worn down and harder and harder to roll with, but the hard punches for him to roll with will be the ones most central to his power. Like dominus attaching his hidden fleet factories is going to be much harder for him to roll with, because he can’t just kill dominus or punish him to hard because dominus is busy doing other important things. I feel like currently in magic of the force there hasn’t been anything that would really push sideous’s abilities yet, although dominus’s actions are probably beginning to, but I feel like he’s going to start having to make harder decisions soon, where he cannot always go for a perfect response, he’ll have to start giving up small things to try to make bigger things happen. Basically, he’s reaching the end of his ability to completely roll with the punches and it’s time for him tos tart accumulating minor damages to his structure Bhaalson Remodel: 1. No idea, I only played BG 2 and BG ToB. I’ve been enjoying learning about these characters in reference to GB 1 as it goes. Good luck with Alora. 2. I think vicona regularly attempts to live a peaceful life as a civilian, gets found out, and either chased off or captured to be executed for being a ‘dirty drow’ and then the player stumbles on her, so likely it’s just another iteration of the same. 3. I think the upgrades were fairly good, you don’t want to be giving too strong of powerups and utility is honestly more interesting than just ‘be stronger’ powerups. 4. From a weapons standpoint, a longsword is a vastly superior weapon to a warhammer for overall usefulness and utility. Longswords are basically useful under any circumstances you would want a weapon, while warhammers are much more restricted to being good at some things and bad at others, while longswords basically don’t have anything they’re really bad at. Also, in game I loved to give vicona the crom fayer hammer to give her a major strength upgrade so she’s who should focus on warhammers in my mind 5. In other ‘Gamer’ stories I’ve read a lot of the time the writer gives us a full or partial character sheet, and it’s a little bit fun to see it, but doesn’t honestly add much tot eh story. I think I prefer your current method where we get to see relevant skills and such when they are brought up, we really don’t need to see a full character sheet most of the time, although every once in a while, especially if something major happens (like if someone decided they wanted to try a multi/double/class upgrade) Anime Adventue Homage: I personally haven’t been interested, but might go bac and read them later. But if you’re having fun with them, then that’s good

Delphinous

actually, this is a great idea i didn't think of. i like the idea of rias getting some sort of a 'family' aligned upgrade, rather than a combat upgrade

Delphinous

for FILFY: on further research i have found that Danu was the Mother Goddess and basically Gaea analog of the Tuatha De Danan, the origin they all sprang from. however, she was also known to grant gifts of power to rulers and those considered noble of birth. she was most commonly considered to gift wisdom. however this isn't a lot of hard data to back up any of the mythology about her, i would imagine that it might be interesting for rias to be given the gift of full empathy, to be able to sense and maybe project her emotions, for her to not just show her family that she loves them, but to bathe them in her feelings of love, and to understand them on a deeper level, and also allow her to just understand anyone she meets and interacts with better. maybe have it initially be an item like the circlet that the queen of the seelie fae wore, but when she tries it on the magic bond to her and fuse to her, like a sacred gear but not. and this would work because she is already an empathic character int he sense of personality, not powers, so it would find a home in her, whereas the unseelie wouldn't get anything out of being, being a bunch of sociopaths who lack empathy

Stallion of the line 1:Partially it would be on a case by case basis. Yes I think that Ice against Sand would work ; because once frozen the sand become some sort of icy rocjk, so it's not sand anymore. But mostly I think it would depend on the belief of each user, if they believe that they can do something with their power (and it's not totally crazy) thay probably can. So if a fire logia believe that he can block an air logia attack's because hot air is lighter than cold air, then it might just work. 2.It would be fine with getting rid of the curse, Ranma derserve good thing for once 3.Shiki during the timeskip would be better I think, particularly if it's not ranma that dealt with him, but Zoro or Nami. FILFY 1:Yes, but only for a limited amount of time, she eventually need to connect back to her normal ley line. 2:Rias should get something at least as Harry's Queen I think that some power shoulf transfer over. For Yubellunna definittivelly lot's of knowledge and perhaps acces to some unique magical/sentient plant. 3:Just a report should be enough. Magic of the force 3: Too young and I Harry, Aylaa and Padme are a nice enough trio. 5: It should start to tell he can't be able to react to everything. Bhaalson 3:Pretty good and I hope other skill will get similar perk later. 4: Warhammer, we see way too many sword user already. 5; I would like to see the character sheet a little more, perhaps a summary at the end of eahc chapter ? Anime Addventure I like it so far, short but interesting.

Stallion 1. I feel like logia versus logia fights come down to three things. First, how the two elements react to each other. Second, the skill/creativity of the user to use their power, both offensively and defensively. Third is the users ability with Haki. I actually feel like skill with Haki is more important then devil fruit ability on the whole, even for Logia’s. We didn’t really see this at marineford, but I think that was partly due to the fact that Haki wasn’t fully developed until after the time skip. Magic of the Force 3. I don’t like this at all. Ahsoka was introduced to Harry as his padawan. That would make any kind of advances in that direction a clear abuse of power situation that the age gap would only make worse. Maybe if they had been introduced under different circumstances it would be different, but in this situation, it just feels cringy. I imagine that even the most tolerant jedi would have an issue with this, and this time it would be justified. Beyond that, I would love to see Harry in the mentor/big brother role with Ahsoka. 5. Sidious’s ability to roll with the punches is impressive, however, this situation is very different from Horse. In Horse, he was hit with a lot of unexpected events at once, and we saw him struggle to adapt to them as they came in. He was able to do that in part because he knew about them as soon as they happened. In Magic, a lot of big things have been hidden from him for a period of years. I have no doubt that he will try to adapt to those events, but the magnitude of some of them are such that he won’t be able to completely shrug them off. By the way, I think you’ve captured Sidious’s strengths really well, and the way you developed his character is one of the key things that has made your star wars stories truly great, although I personally prefer Horse. Bhaalson 3. I thought the upgrades were really good personally. I thought they were reasonable and logical, giving him an earned benefit without overpowering him. I’m curious to see if you follow a path now. Like since he chose to upgrade his observation and mapmaking instead of more direct combat tactics if future tactic upgrades are going to follow more informational benefits in the future. Not sure how I feel about that to be honest. 4. I would prefer Warhammer if forced to choose. There are a lot of stories out there where the main character uses swords, and your star wars stories in particular have a lot of sword v sword battles (very well done), so it would be a nice contrast to see someone using a hammer as their main weapon instead, especially from someone as skilled at combat scenes as you are. I also feel like skill with a blade takes a lot longer to master, whereas skill with a hammer is more about brute strength (skill is still important), and Harry’s biggest disadvantage is that he didn’t actually grow up there. 5. I think that they are fine the way they are. The only thing I might suggest is if there was an easier way to find the most updated stats from each player. This story is updated infrequently enough that it can be hard to remember where they all are, so it would be nice to have a quick way to reference that instead of having to search for it through multiple word docs. Especially for those of us who never played the game.

i had another idea. The badrui's music powers could be expanded with the phoenix song characteristics a little bit revised. her music would affect people she perceives as friendlies, or people who consider themselves friendlies to her, in a positive way, and people she thinks are antagonists, or people who perceive themselves as being against her and her group, would be negatively affected. and because her music already make that sore of 'magical potential' it would become more focused, on restoring the energy and magic of her allies, and resisting the supernatural powers and raining their energy of her enemies who hear her music.

LINE: the reaction between the fruits changes, unless it somehow affects its element it will not cause real injury. The light is reflected by the ice, it has no effect on lightning and magma; sand with enough heat is turned into glass, and against ice it is at a disadvantage; lightning has little effect against magma but it has a slight advantage against ice due to conductivity and heat. No, Ivan has already failed but trying again will have weird effects turning Ranma into macho-man or fen-boy and Ranko into a body builder or making his female form much sexier. Will he be idolized by Kamabakka Island? After that he will learn a variant of CP9 member body modification. Shiki will be dealt with quickly due to facing Nami during a storm while she was on the weather island, the DF will end up with one of the scientists. Both Franky and Nami would suit Kidd's fruit well, she would also use Moria fruit or the nine-tailed fox well. Ranma if he were to eat one fruit what would happen in his other body? Homo Homo Fruit! Type? Will Luffy teach Sanji Umisenken? Usopp will join Ranma in the new world having matured a lot. What will Kaia think of him? FILFY: No, too simple, perhaps with an intermediate stage or using a ritual? Gáe Derg in Rias or Milktec Cruaidín Catutchenn (or Claíomh Solais which belonged to Nuada Airgeadlámh), the sword of golden light, capable of wounding the deities, the sword is endowed with the properties of wind and light and could cut the enemy in two. It only shows the end of the fight against Hades. MAGIC: He starts to miss out on the Light Force Patron. ADVENTURES: yes, I liked it but it would be interesting if Ranma ended up as the princess's guard or familiar.

GreedOnGreed

Could Ranma be injected with Shiki's serum that he used to evolve the animals? Luffy initially to maintain control of his aggression and libido would be forced to use the ice soul, Ivankov could resolve the hormonal part. Robin may accept that Luffy has other mates because she is unable to sate her libido. Billy will eat Shiki's fruit and join their crew. It is strange that there are no more animals with the powers of the DF unless they are immediately killed in order to obtain it. Ranma He might be pissed off as he always wished he could fly.

Megaslayer321a

Stallion 1: When it comes to Logia vs Logia I think you should look towards how each element reacts to one another from a scientific view and then take some creative liberties, there are some examples of this in the Anime/Manga Luffy is able to get around Croc's Logia defense by using any sort of liquid(water and his blood) which realistically would only make the sand clump up or move slower, another example is Akainu's magma blowing right through Ace's defense simply by because magma is many times hotter then plain fire. For the examples you gave Light vs Sand I don't think would do anything to the sand unless the user got creative and started messing with the temperature of the light then it could melt or solidify the sand, Ice vs Sand I feel that the Ice would definitely freeze the Sand but if that had a significant effect or not would probably come down to who is the stronger of the two fruit users, Ice vs Light this kinda reminds me of a fanfic I read from Kenchi618 it was a Naruto x One Piece fanfic Naruto got into a fight with Borsalino and one by transforming into a mirror reflecting Borsalino miles and miles away from him to the point where he slammed into the Red Line. 2: I feel you could go either way with this, I personally wouldn't want Ranma to lose the curse, however I also feel you are a good enough writer to make it work and make it funny. 3: I haven't seen any of the Shiki the Lion stuff so I have no comment on it. Magic of the Force 2: I have no issues with adding Ahsoka to the relationship as long as it isn't rushed, I'm always a bit iffy when it comes to potential underage stuff, but first this isn't real life, second Ahsoka isn't human so human norms don't need to apply to her(within reason of course), third joining a relationship does not mean sex is going to happen right from the get go.

Synner

For Magic you will likely have to go with something not from Corellia. During that time frame, in Both Legends and Cannon, Corellia was only producing heavy freighters and what would be termed frigates for combat. The Katana class is a Dreadnaught, which were half a mile long. The only ship that ever rolled out of corellia that large was during the shenanigans around Hapes circa 40 ABY, and it was called a Corellian Dreadnaught. The Corellian shipyards like to stick in the ball-park of 150-250 meters for their heavy ships. If you are going for a custom ship, I'd call it the Adamant class or something similar. If I recall correctly from Legends (which is my prefered timeline) several of the more famous Corellian generals liked to use Hammer-and-Anvil style manuevers and they typically used their lighter ships to push their enemies into their heavy cruisers, so it would make sense that they had a classification (they they usually used Rendili Dreadnaughts), and named it something appropriately strong sounding.

1. Serendipitous or not, Yasaka deserves more screen time. Using the ley-lines and Harry’s possible control of them doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch. 2. Rias is the sister of Sirzechs-motherfucking-Lucifer, the knowledge gained should be more than enough for her. She doesn’t need a sacred gear to become monstrously powerful, just time, effort, and training. One of the other girls might benefit, Yubelluna in particular seems like her Bandrui abilities might benefit from something in Danan. 3. I love both of their characters, but no I don’t think we need to see it in depth. If something about it really jumps out at you, then I would toss it in a flashback. MotF 1. ?? 2. Certainly not that I can think of 3. I’m not sure if Harry would be alright initially with Ahsoka wanting to join in, but knowing Snips, she’s gonna see that it’s a multi-person relationship and want in. Honestly, you’re gonna need for Aayla to be the one to push Harry for it if you decide to make it a part of the story. If “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” can do it with a 1000+ year old Harry, you certainly can, just got to set it up right. 4. I’ve never really cared about the lesser brother. Maul was only interesting because of how cool he looked in the prequels and then later on his rivalry with Obi-Wan. 5. Sidious is a masterful planner, and one who can adapt very well. But too often in stories we see him roll with the punches too well. He’ll get angry, come back under control and then say something like “oh this is a setback, but in the grand scheme of things doesn’t really matter.” Sidious is a true Sith, which means he controls his anger and fear, yes. But at a certain point that cocksure attitude should start to fail. That level of “it’ll take effort but I can make it work” eventually stops being a strength that lets him keep a cool head and turns into a delusion that could only hurt him. People also write him as infallible, which comes from just how perfectly he manipulated everything in canon. That’s pretty fair. But it also makes for a boring story with limited back and forth. Sidious needs to make mistakes and have them be capitalized upon, otherwise the story just becomes a coin flip for who comes out ahead, subject only to the whims of the author, not the story itself. I think it’s time for Palpatine to become reacquainted with one of the more debilitating types of fear: Panic.

Tomon

Regarding Stallion. Logia form is their 'true' self - kind of. The form by itself doesn't cost them anything, the same way Luffy in original is stretchy by default after eating his DF ;-) Freshwater works the same way as sea water. Disappointing, I know, but confirmed by author himself :( DF users can only shower, or need assistance for taking bath :-D

Icarus

FIFLY 1. Maybe Harry could merge the lay lines with kyoto. Making it so that the association could also have a safe new home. But I think thee should be at least away that she can spend more time there with Harry and her daughter out side of kyoto. 2. Of all the characters I think luna should get a boost as she could have something like the fay crown that or Yub would be the most likely as they are directly linked to the area. An over all upgrade to them all with fay armour and weapons would be nice. Risa just needs to learn the tricks lucifer uses as she is very powerful already. Maybe the fallen angels but I think you have a plan with kal. 3. A flash back or a section like Gringotts for it. Magic of the force. 2. I think she can be added and would make things interesting but should be slow plus I can see them talking with padme before they would more forward with it. 5. I think he should be rattled and make mistakes but he would then also become a lot more focused. He planned a war where both sides made huge mistakes to make it last longer. With the vail he would be confident no matter what tho.

I haven't been following FILFY much so I must have missed the post about modern life in Egypt. I was born and lived in Egypt for 18 years before moving to the States so if you have any more questions that Novus wasn't able to answer I may be able to answer you

vimesenthusiast

Cool. If I have any specific questions I will send you a message. Or I might just sent you the bits that deal with Ranma and co moving through Egypt to you if you want to look at it.

NTLuck

Sure I can do that. Now I've been putting FILFY on hold since the rating game against Riser so forgive me if my memory is sketchy but when did Ranma come into the scene?

Stalion 1. When it comes to logia against logia without the use of Haki, I think you need to look at it with the view of what those different forces of nature would do to each other in the real world. As for something like frozen chunks of sand, I think you would have to just choose if you would want that to kill the sand user or not. I am of the opinion that Haki is the key to any fights that include logia powers that don't show one having an obvious superiority over another. 2. As for Ranma and Ivankov... so long as I can laugh so hard it hurts, go for whatever that clever mind can think of. 3. The Shiki arc... or movie... or whatever... I think it should be in there. It isn't so much about the fruit, as Shiki's place in the story of history adding detail and context to things. Though, if I had to say, I think Nami would be perfect for that power if only because of all the thefts she would perform with it. I could see her taking the power in a whole different and subtle direction that isn't about large displays of strength. Filfy 1. I think you are right about it being to easy. I think that he should be able to do it, but that it is going to take more than just as quick spell. I'm thinking that it would take a ritual and agreement between Harry and Yasaka as "powers" to allow her access and that there will be certain limits and requirements from both of them to make it work as it would essentially be one Head of State visiting another. With magic, that matters. 2. I'm rather ambivalent about this one. I think that either a power-up or knowledge would be fine and even make a sort of sense, so long as you don't go overboard. 3. I kind of like a middle-ground for this one. I don't think we need to follow their entire adventure through the investigation and storming of Hades, but could get a summary with a few flashbacks to potentially story-changing scenes. Magic 1. I don't really know the ship classes very well, so I am just gunna say "good luck" 2. And yet another ship class question... why are you doing this to me? 3. I don't think it is that she is too young so much as all of the various "reasons" that she shouldn't be that would really influence things. 4. I was never to big a fan of Savage, but the changes to things could make his inclusion interesting. 5. I'm not that knowledgeable, nor invested in looking for names. 6. I think that with Sidious you have been doing fine and his rolling with the punches has made sense at every step, but I also think that it really is time that some of these things actually start to get to him because the mistakes and failures are adding up, and something has to give at some point. The Jedi have been doing more and more as secretly as possible and at some point they have to do something that will actually hurt. I haven't followed the rest. Have fun and good luck!!!

Stallion: Eh, on Nami getting Shiki's power. I think I've gone to the whole getting the enemy's fruit thing too often already. So that wouldn't happen. Unless... well... no. Nevermind. I like the idea of flight at that scale, but I would have to add something really unique to the story to use that idea again. Yes. Yes you will laugh hard at that point. I think I might have them competing to see who can pull off a woman better and then who can act the manliest LOL. As for logia stuff, that's fine to say, but what if they don't interact in nature - light versus lightning, or light versus magma. Honestly at this point I think it's going to come down to imagination and haki. FILFy: Close on the heads of state. More gods for a given value. I wasn't going to go crazy, I was just wondering if people felt the girls needed a hand up at this point to keep growing with Harry. Magic: Yeah, Sidious is going to start wavering in the next chapter, the last scene of 16 shows the first pebble of that avalanche.

vimesenthusiast

Yubelluna yes might get a power up. Luna not so much. She is precisely where she needs to be and won't be leaving Tir Na Nog. I was honestly asking about Kala and Rias specifically. Both in terms of knowledge.

vimesenthusiast

1. Yeah, that's why I asked. I want her to start being part of the family full time, and somehow using the leylines of Denan to do so makes a lot of sense to me. I will however make it somewhat difficult to actually do when it comes to it. 4. Agreed on the cool factor impacting how Maul came back LOL. 5. Think I started to show this in the last scene of chapter 16, but yeah, Sidious and Dominus are both going to start getting surprises, large and small. And for a while, it is going to set them both reeling. Not to the point where Sidious outs himself, but yeah, it's going to impact his ability to plan and adapt.

vimesenthusiast

I like the Adamant but you are thinking of only PRODUCING. Correllia in both my fics is, like the original, home to a massive mothballed fleet that they are bringing back online. So the older style ships would perhaps follow a slightly different design philosophy. - in canon the sector was home to some of the largest true dreadnaughts in the Republic, although they were never shown in battle. I am not going to use them in large numbers, but yea something like the Adamant class for such a ship series would be a good fit.

vimesenthusiast

hmmm... no. He's not an animal. I will however show Robin unable to keep up with Raffy in the sack LOL.

vimesenthusiast

Stallion 1: Yeah, that's pretty much what I think too. I am just having trouble visualizing some of the matchups in my head, since some of these elements don't interact in nature, or at least haven't been caught on camera doing so. Magic: heh, already answered this one. As for Sidious, yeah, he just got a massive shock to the system too, and it won't be the only one. Bhaalson - I may have him able to choose to specialize in info/physical tactical skillsets in the future, but that will only happen when he reaches something like level sex in tactics. Until then, he will see a few choices every time and additions that add more in terms of observation/mapmaking. - mapmaking would be terrain - like, height, type of ground, etc. Observation, could be a way for Harry to eventually be able to detect traps, or at least to be able to see where traps could do the most good. Before that though, Harry will see the same other choices, and I think that specializing too early would be a bad idea, impacting his growth in the future. As for longsword vs warhammer - I think he will continue to use both, until he meets Viconia. She will then help him gain a love of the Warhammer. - it would be a good way for them to interact with one another during camp-time. 5. Oooh, that is a good idea actually. I think I will put up a full *PARTY THUS FAR* Stat post. That should help immensely, both for my readers and me.

vimesenthusiast

FILFY 2. Not just as his queen, but as Mother of Lily and future children - she's got first dibs there LOL. Yube and Kala are due info based powerups. Magic: think I answered these pretty good in chapter 16 5. You and scott bring up this idea of a summary - so I will be posting in the next few days a dedicated post that will contain all the characters stats thus far.

vimesenthusiast

the anime addventures will continue at least to the start of November. I am uncertain about continuing them after that point, since I believe that Ranma will start to do better in the polls at that point. Could be wrong though, and as long as HP wins there so decisively, I will continue them. GOood point on the fact Dragon would have had him reverse it if he could. But I think I might still have his DF mess with Raffy a bit. Just not to get rid of the curse entirely.

vimesenthusiast

Shrine maiden not so much, but yes, the use of the leylines of Denan to give her more freedom is a lock. I just have to think about how to do it: bonding her to an object which is in turn bound to the Leylines of Danan tying everything together, or tantric sex ritual to bind her to the leylines directly... 2. Yes, Harry will be playing with the Blessing, but that won't be connected to the power ups. Spear for Rias perhaps, not sword, Staff is possible, but Kiba has the sword thing locked up. Yube is due a direct power up, Kala a mental one. 3. Romance and family will take up half of the next chapter at least. As for Hades... I think i might show the two of them and the rest of his peerage having trouble simply getting through the equivalent of mazes and investigation work. However on the subject of other gods, I might have mentioned this somewhere, but Hades is the only surviving member of the Greek gods.

vimesenthusiast

1. Really? So she has a problem with Imoen too? I can't remember any of her dialogue alas. 2. I have decided to push Viconia's arrival to after the mine exploration. I am going to do something very cliche there LOL, but hopefully something no one sees coming, in order to make Harry and co travel to Firewine Bridge. There I can have Viconia show up, and then go to the gullykin village where I can introduce Alora. 4. Yes on the one handed weapons - and i love Crom Cruach LOL. 5. going to make a post showing everyone's stats I think, then upgrade as necessary to show everyone evolving over time.

vimesenthusiast

3. I believe that is only in direct power-to-power confrontations. I don't think Sirzechs or his peerage are geared to investigation/problem solving/ maze navigation LOL. 4. No. the only girl I MIGHT add, and its a longshot, is Kuroka. I think that five is enough and further, have no interest in going into the Asgardians in a second fic.

vimesenthusiast

2. Kind of agreed? I think if you keep the rest you can get away with it. But here, I think as others have pointed out, it would remove a interesting aspect of the romance. 3. It would happen during the two year gap regardless. Laki, Nami, Sanji, Robin even Makino could all benifit from that time training. By that point only Zoro and Luffy will be ready for the New World, to say nothing of Brook and Franky. 1. Wasn't talking about Horse. He's going to get it in the ass there soon enough.

vimesenthusiast

2. Going to mess with it for comedic purposes but not remove it. 3. I do like the idea of a flying Resolve...

vimesenthusiast

Dagda's cauldron I am going to have to look up. That could be interesting.

vimesenthusiast

Stallion: Agreed on the Logia stuff. I am just having trouble thinking about elements that just don't interact in the real world really LOL. 2. Wouldn't get rid of it, most people agree that would be a bad thing. Screwing with the curse a bit though, that could be more fun. 3. It was a movie, pretty good one too. called Strong World I think? Magic: 1.Yeah, that's what my research suggested too, but Corellia DID build warships, they just didn't sell them often. According to the wiki, the sector was guarded by some of the biggest Real Dreadnaughts that were in existence during the Clone Wars. 3. I have decided not to add in Ahsoka at this point. I might hint at it in the epilogue - yeaaars down the line, after she has become a Knight, but Scott had some really good points on this, and afterward, I just could not see this Harry allowing such a relationship with someone who essentially becomes his little sister/daughter figure in terms of how much control Harry has over her. 4. LOL. I gotta agree frankly. the only way Savage would be interesting is if Harry and co deal with the Dark Sisters of Dathomir. If not, then not going to go there frankly. 6. Yeah, the next chapter will show those cracks starting to truly show internally. He will still not make any mistake that can oust him as a Sith, but he is going to start losing the plot in a few ways. Bhaalson: 1. LOL. One phrase for you: Girdle of Gender Change. 2. In the second game Viconia admitted that she did kill that family, but only after they had turned on her, attempting to kill her after lulling her and then ganging up on her, before burying Viconia alive. Seriously, she had befriended them while hiding her features, and the moment she felt safe enough to do so, they kept on being nice right up until that night when they attacked her in her sleep. So yeah, vengeance fully justified in my opinion. 4. Yes, but learning more about the warhammer could be a nice way to stat getting to know Viconia. And it isn't as if Khalid and Harry have had much time to devote to instruction LOL.

vimesenthusiast

I intend for curse/Ivankov shenanigans. Beyond that, I don't know yet LOL.

Readm

1. So i dont actually remember any real dialogue between Imoen and Dynaheir but if you want them to have a good relationship in your story you can explain it as Imoan having a thief class but not the mindset or lifestyle unlike Aloara who was a member of the thieves guild and routinely robbed people while enjoying it. 2. Just out of curiosity if you like Viconia so much why did you wait so long to get her in the party, you can recruit her in act one almost right out of candlekeep if you head north if i remember correctly.

Novus

Regarding the Bhaalson stuff specifically: 2. I actually do remember that story from BG2, as I've been replaying it on my tablet recently. However, the timeline doesn't add up. She tells you that the whole trying-to-be-a-farmer thing is what she did AFTER she separated from you post BG1 (she even specifically says that she dropped your name a lot to help). And tells the whole story about killing the farmer and family as something that happened in that period. Whereas the flaming fist was chasing her before you even met her. So, either it's a screw up by the BGII writers, or they were different events... 4. ... ... ... Picturing Viconia as a teacher is a horrifying thought, you know that right? :-p. I just can not see any attempt at her teaching ending well at all, particularly a male and doubly particularly the early versions of her before her rough edges have been worked on a bit. And an additional counterpoint on the war hammer thing, simply because I saw one or two other people claim it would be easier to learn. It's actually the opposite. Taking a Warhammer or Axe past brute force basics (which, going by her ability points, is all Viconia knows anyway), is actually much harder than a sword. The reason for that is, while a sword is actually a pretty straight forward weapon, Heavy weapons like an Axe or War Hammer are properly wielded not by brute strength, but weight-management. Essentially, their movement is completely different from the straight-line movements of a sword, since you can't reverse the movement of one without causing undo strain on your body (and, at the same time, leaving an opening since it causes a hesitation). Mind you, I also don't care what he ends up wielding ^_^. This is just more data for the sake of pros and cons.

GreedOnGreed

Humans are animals but Shiki didn't have any because she couldn't keep them under control as they became rebellious geniuses focused on sex and struggle. He was surely trying to perfect a serum for himself. Ranma vs Shiki boosted serum! Rias you could equip her with gay-Bolt, always look for the hole! +100% damage to men.

Icarus

That makes sense. I think kala with knowledge of fay smiting would be great. Don't know about what they could teach Rias maybe large area manipulation or even taping in to nature for more power

vimesenthusiast

2. Yeah, that seems to be the opinion of a lot of people, and that's what I wanted to see: if people felt that the curse was an intrinsic part of Raffy at this point. I still get reviews from people who would prefer Ranma to lose the curse. But I think that only works if you do it pretty early in the story. I will however have Ivankov mess with Ranma a bit - switching the curse with his normal form, maybe changing his female form a bit - adding more in the chest and hips maybe. 3. I agree. It was easily the best movie. And that seems to be the consensus of those who watched that movie. As for how it would run now thanks to the changes to the crew's abilities and personalities... Shiki meeting them initially will be very interesting, esepcailly Makino and her ability to read people.

vimesenthusiast

Yes, as i showed in the last scene of the latest chapter, Sidious is becoming aware of the changes the Jedi Order have been making above and beyond those he already knew about. He and Dominus will start to make mistakes to compensate, worries about what else the Order has been up to will force them to. And Dominus has already made a mistake, and it has nothing to do with the attack on the Tyrant's Bane...

vimesenthusiast

1. Did she enjoy the stealing or the challenge? I realize that's a fine destinction, but I think it is a meaningful one. As for Imoen and Dynaheir, they are going to have to start talking in the next chapter. 2. I do like Viconia. However, unless there was a reason to go east of Candlekeep I wasn't going to introduce her. I didn't want to sacrifice the main plot or Harry's looking into the Iron intake Issue to introduce her. Besides, while I want her and Harry to become friends (and indeed her and the others) I know that no matter how much they are friends, Viconia can't be with them when they meet Irenicus. Like Edwin, he would have no mercy on them, and it would just add to the body count I expect Irenicus to create. That is one aspect of the original story I intend to keep: them running into a wizard who is so powerful he basically wipes them out and captures them with ease. That way, Harry and Imoen will be forced to realize they need to keep growing.

vimesenthusiast

Stallion 2: Yes let the shenanigans continue.... Honestly I am thinking of having them do a full infiltration thing, with both of them as women and basically competing to see who can be the better woman in a number of ways, then being manly going out, who can take out the most enemies, cause the most chaos etc. Of course, since he knows Urd used Ivankov as means of his cursing, regardless of how used to it he has become since, he is going to have to hurt him too LOL. "Yeah, lets see if that hormone thing can help you heal from a ruptured lung." 3. Yeah, the SHiki arc will happen. I will just have to think of where to insert it. Right at the start of the Two Year arc, using it as the engine to get Nami up to the island where she does her training and then to Chopper's, Franky's and so on (although I am leaning to having Brook train with Zoro and Raffy) or later, to let the crew show off their abilities before heading to Mermaid Island... or even if they need to go to Mermaid island at all, if they have the Floating fruit thing. Kind of interesting to think about... FILFy: 1. Erm, not going to go for the whole rulers things, but yes, as the King of Denan, the leylines are his to do with as he wants. To a point anyway. 2. For Rias, yeah, I don't know if I would go for the pure route, but perhaps something connected to motherhood? Defender of the Hearth or something similar? We shall see. 3. Ehh, I do, but i am uncertain if Grayfia and Sirzechs are interesting enough to devote, say 8,000 words to their adventures. Magic: 3. Scott pointed out a few reasons why this pairing was wrong, and once I got to thinking about it, I decided against it because of those reasons and several others. 6. Tells not so much, not yet. But mistakes, yes the Sith are going start making mistakes. Indeed, Dominus has already done so. And it has nothing to do with the attack on the Tyrant's Bane.

vimesenthusiast

Yeah, for most logia it doesn’t cost them anything to stay in logia form. If anything, as Tomon says, the logia form is their ‘natural’ state. Not to the point where staying human-shaped is tough, but to the point it is like any other natural movement a person can make – blinking, twitching shoulders etc. Death forces them to become human – being ripped apart like that, as far as we have seen, doesn’t happen really. Coma… no data about it. size varies massively. The Buddha form Enel took was nothing in comparison to other logia types we’ve seen. Cost – This I think does cost them more than just creating their forms. As for different types costing, no clue. C. YES. This was proven not just by Caesar Clown, but by Crocodile, and the Gold dude from that LAAME ass movie. This is why I made the decision to leave Vivi with the fruit – it will help her train, and will make her a nightmare to fight in her homeland against anyone who, well, has a natural advantage against sand. 2. I’ve decided to go with the idea that the hormone fruit can mess with either of Ranma’s forms, but not to permanently get rid of the curse form. I think at this point, with this Ranma, it’s too much a part of his/her mindset. FILFy 1A – essentially yes, though there are less accessible ley-lines in the air as well. And yes, that’s essentially what it means in Yasaka’s case. The problem being that ley-lines are not meant to move, hence why Yasaka has issues being away from Kyoto – the Dragon Nest underneath it in particular, for any length of time. 1B No. Connecting to the ley-line is partly on the magical level, partly on the spiritual. Harry isn’t connected to the ley-lines of Danan, he can dip into them or, more specifically, open a sort of doorway to their magic so he isn’t tied down by them, as someone else would be. 1C Yasaka does, hence her problems with being away with Kyoto. That, and it isn’t just a single ley-line she’s connected to, but the whole of the Dragon’s Nest. There are more ley-lines tangled up almost in Kyoto than anywhere else in all of Asia or indeed most of the world. The other places like that are in the Wizarding World, hidden under it’s massive Notice-Me-Not Arrays. Sympathetic magic might be a way to go forward though, tricking the earth ley-lines and indeed Yasaka’s own magic, to think as of she’s still there, when she is in fact in Danan. 1D. No, one doesn’t exist yet, but the question will be what Harry can do with them. The consequences on the other hand, would be kind of major. Magic has been flowing into the world, and this would turn the tap up on that process, even if most of it comes through Harry and Yasaka or Kyoto as a whole. I am still uncertain how I am going to solve Yasaka’s travel issue, I just know I have to. 2. Not so much power-ups in terms of magical items that will instantly add to their brute magical power. I think one weapon maybe, and a few Blessings waiting to happen, but most of what I will be having occur is based on knowledge. 3. Eh, that was sort of the problem. I liked the adventure, I don’t particularly like Sirzechs or Grayfia as characters. One’s way too blah, the other one is fun as heck but only in specific circumstances, and is too often written as Uber-powerful. Force: Erm… here I think you are forgetting that Sidious, for all his self control, is a Sith. The Sith want the Jedi gone. They want to be the sole voice of the Force. This has been true since the Jed’ai split into two camps and Force practitioners spread through the universe. What you all mention is means to an end. Moreover, Sidious believes he is fated to become the Emperor, the sole voice of the Force and the Dark Side in particular. That is the real reason the Sith want the Jedi gone: they hate them, pure and simple.

vimesenthusiast

Stallion: 1. In canon we’ve seen no sign of exhaustion being an issue for, say, Croc, Enel, or any of the other logias who create their element in large amounts as part of their combat style. Its annoying, but there it is. However, Croc did prefer to stay in Alabasta, and not only because of his plans to find the ultimate weapon. So there is some merit to the idea that for rookie logia users, creating their element is difficult. a. `Auto-defense is an odd way of putting it but I get what you’re saying, that the whole ‘turn into my element’ thing would be automatic. And we see evidence of this in canon for sure. b. Embuing their element with Haki would probably not be possible, unless it is in the form of a weapon or something they are touching, and even then there would probably be a limitation. For instance, Busoshoku covered magma would not be a thing, since it would just turn into rock. Ice would be slightly better, but I feel like this idea would be kind of odd to work out the mechanics of it. c. Now, embuing something with Ki? That is more like it… 2. Yeah, going to go with shenanigans on the hormone fruit. I actually have a lot of different ways the meeting with Ivankov can go, since his DF power was the excuse Urd used to give Raffy his curse this time around. But I will have Raffy’s initial reaction to him be quite… obvious. And violent. 3. The Movie was Awesome though! Seriously, it was a lot of fun. Best of the One Piece movies, and it isn’t close, at all. And the idea of having the Resolve eat that fruit is a great one I think. So Shiki will be making an appearance. FILFy: 1. YEP! I am going to have sooo much fun with the water travel thing next chapter, and even the chapter after that. As for the major grid, yes, that is my understanding as well, though it isn’t neat or tidy. The Dragon next under Kyoto is named that for a very good reason – several leylines are snarled up like so many writhing snakes there. That being said, I seriously want her to gain more freedom, and specifically the freedom to cross dimensions at least in terms of going to Danan. Celtic Runes, sympathetic magic, and Kitsune magic combined will, I think make this possible. As for separate grids… no, but not because it doesn’t make sense. It does. But I think that I would want to go into too much detail there, and it would slow the rest of the story, particularly the romance aspect down too much. 2. The bandrui will get a kind of mutation. The problem there is that most of her magics take concentration or music, so a means to combat those limitations or to create trees and other plants in an instant she can then use could be the way to go Yes, Kalawarner is a Mystic Craftsman, but she needs more knowledge than a smithy. Talking to the dwarves will allow for easy access to material. I intend to have her play around in Tir Na Nog for a while, then to return with her toys. But she will first gain an immediate power up in terms of knowledge – runes, and how to work certain material. After all Brigid was a goddess of Smithcraft as well as Fertility and fire. (I will now address your second post) I am uncertain about the idea of empathy – empathic projection IS something I’ve seen done before. David Weber’s Windrider’s Oath had a kind of vampire who could project fear and confusion. But I don’t think she would be comfortable with such an ability. In combat, she much prefers to be straightforward, at least in terms of her own skills. I would say though that Rias could be given/find/ be Blessed by the planet of Danan in some way that could allow her to better protect the hearth and home of her loved ones. I like that idea a bit more frankly than my initial thoughts on her. Which I can easily switch to say, a certain black cat…hohoho… I will now address your third post) Yes, that is kind of the way I intend to take Yubelluna’s abilities, but we will see how it works out. Actually creating music is still a defensive weakness and needs to be addressed first. 3. I don’t Either! That was why I asked the question honestly. But here’s the thing: I have built in checks and balances that, if they aren’t careful, could seriously screw them up. So I thought seeing it get to that point might be an interesting idea. Still, a flashback (ugh) it might have to be. Magic of the Force 1. I do mention the gozanti, but actually, the Correlian sector did have dedicated warships. They were just all in mothballs for like, 90% of the time. Still, going to go with the Adamant class, it won’t be perfect, and it will be old but it will also be tough and fast. Duh it’s Correllian LOL. They are the people who feel the need for speed. 2. Cool. 3. I sort of answered this in the chapter, but yes, your and Scott’s arguments on why this wouldn’t work were very well taken. Funny thing, when someone argues against something I want, but does so in a logical and cogent manner, I listen. Wish more people could say the same thing. a. On the Padme front – no they hadn’t yet. But yes, Aayla is thinking about it. Problem is, that the bond between Harry and Aayla have a downside. – Since they got back together they have literally not been further apart than a single planet’s worth of miles. The impact of being separated has yet to be seen. I fully agree that letting her feel their emotions would be a good idea, I just don’t think anything deeper would be feasible, unless Fay or Lily – my favorites Dues Ex Machina ladies – can figure out a way to change her odd Force presence into an actual connection to the Force. And even then Padme’s duties would keep her away from them – She is a serving Senator after all, and can’t be away from Coruscant for long. 4. The clone schtick for Maul is done. There is only one more out there, and he was the one set up to try and emulate Harry’s Force tricks. – I might even be wrong on that, I’d have to reread to see. 5. Pong Krell is good, but I have plans for him down the line. Agen Kolar – that’s the GUY!! AGGH, okay you just helped me with Horse. I can now go back to the last chapter and correct something there. Honestly, two Zabrak masters, both close to Windu? Ugh. I won’t use him as a Jedi who fell to the Dark Side though. He’s too rigid for that. Bultar No, but looking her up gave me the name of one of the Jedi I wanted to use but who I couldn’t figure out the name of: Koffi Arana. He was the one who killed Swan in the comics, and that gave me two more names I can use. Thanks! As for Barriss and Luminara, no. In this fic and in my other I have made a point to make certain that only those Jedi with the mindset to become warriors become involved in the conflict. Barriss and Luminara are both Healers. They will probably be involved in the medical ship Neutrality act, but not in any real conflict. I don’t intend to use that stupid plot of Barriss falling to make Ahsoka leave the order – and thus Anakin. I mean come on! Ugh. That’s the problem with SW – the movies coming out in the order they did just ruin it. 6. Agreed. However I think that when it comes to the Jedi he won’t be able to roll with the punches as easily. They are still his main target after all, and as shown in the last scene, he now knows that the Jedi have been making even more moves that he doesn’t know about than he thought. The younglings being moved is a danger to the future. He wants to end the Jedi, not just wipe out the current generation. Bhaalson: 2. Yeah, that is basically what happens. 3. I like utility. Stronger power ups need to come with limitations – see Fate Touched. Whatever a lot of people are saying OP characters are just boring because there is no growth. 4. I intend for Harry to use the longsword for the next fed adventures, then after meeting Viconia start to switch to the Warhammer as his primary weapon instead of his backup. And I always gave her a belt of ogre strength when I could. 5. I am going to create a full character sheet and post it as a separate post linked to Bhaalson Remodel. That way people can see it and refer back to it at need. AAH: Yeah, they are fun. Simple adventure/humor stuff to give me a break from my more serious fics.

Readm

1. I think it was a little of both she enjoyed stealing for the act and for the challenge. Not to mention her crude humor and ability to connect with Edwin that most likely cemented Dynaheir's opinion on her. Though something i think your overlooking is how much of a bitch Dynaheir is in the game, her own Bio describes her as self righteous and 100 convinced that any decision she makes is the right and good path. Im pretty sure in the game that you cant have her and Viconia in the same party as she is instantly hostile due to viconia being a dark elf
