Hey guys, so I have a few questions, most of them are kind of smallish, but one of them can have large repercussions. As usual these are scattered across several of my stories and marked thusly, plus the two patron only stories.

FILFY:

1.  Should Kuroka’s Sage powers slowly come back to her like her Nekoshuu powers will?

2. Are there any Irishmen among you? I realize this seems a little bit late, but the leprechauns are going to continue to have a part to play in the next chapter, and I would like some input on how to write their accents. If you want to look at it, please PM me, and we can talk.

3. I’ve had a thought, and I have looked up the power levels and so forth, so, here is my last question for this fic: If Sirzechs and Hades come to blows, and Hades dies, do I need to show that scene? Or would a scene to show the buildup and fully explain how I’m going to portray Hades work better? To add a bit more information to what I am thinking might happen, I am anticipating several deaths among Sirzechs’ peerage… I just don’t know if those characters are interesting or important enough to want to spend time away from the others, especially when shit is about to hit the fan in a Galactic-sized manner for Harry and co.

Fate Touched:

1. Should I redeem Thranduil, remove him after this last chapter, or remove him after the Battle For The Mountain? Would his attempting to betray the other forces – the humans and dwarves so they take all the casualties -  be too much? You’ll note the name change from the original Battle of Five Armies. LOL.

2.  in the future, is Gondor interesting enough that you all would like to see some world building there, complete with OC characters galore – remember the time difference between the Hobbit and the start of the Fellowship.  I like the idea of exploring Gondor and even Rohan, but it is the need for a lot of OCs for Harry to interact with that gives me pause.   (Regardless of anything else, don't worry, Harry won't spent more than ten years or so in Galadrial's realm before leaving.)

Stallion:

1. Boa Hancock. I would like people’s thoughts on her. Not just as a romantic interest, not certain I will go that route, but as a character. Good, bad, hate her attitude, lay it on me.

Patron questions:

1. Is it entirely possible that My Hero Academia will end before I can get back to my Heroes of the High Seas Fic?

2. More seriously, how do people think about my S.O.H. episode style updates? Is the story still enjoyable, and would you all prefer I continue it until we come to a natural stopping point instead of, say, doing the same thing for my Homage concept, or even GDWHOM? I greatly enjoy the RWBY characters, but I think I am getting lost in the whole world building/character interaction thing, and would like to know what people think. Added to that is the fact my Ranma/DxD crossover hasn’t been updated in more than half a year.

Don’t show sirzechs peerage, write more ranma dxd, we need more Gabriel!

Bryan Brown

FILFY: 1) Why would one come back and not the other? If she can so completely rip someone's power/soul away that they can never recover then why doesn't Kuroki remain a one tail cat girl forever. If she can't then why wouldn't Kuroka be able to recover at least some of her sage power with a long rehabilitation. It's not like she doesn't have millennia to do so. Its possible the first comes back much faster then the second so in the time frame of the story we don't see it but 10,00 years from now? 3)Too far behind in the cannon story to give you any advice.

Kyo Amamoto

i'd REALLY LIKE TO SEE GDWHOM updated soon. please?

Cory Nydam

I don’t see any reason for Thranduil to actually betray the alliance. While he may hate them, any elf would hate orcs far more than any other race. I feel it would definitely be too much. As for redeeming him, that depends on what you want to do with Legolas. Since Legolas is the only heir to that throne, eliminating Thranduil will force him to remain in Mirkwood ruling it in place of his father. If you want Legolas free to adventure with Harry or join the Fellowship later, I would suggest redeeming Thranduil, at least to the point where he isn’t deposed. Honestly, in canon, he plays such a minor role later on that it really doesn’t matter if anyone likes him, unless you plan on expanding his role. As for Gondor, I think it would be a good idea to expand on its people and culture, even if it does give us some OCs. It and Rohan are the only real human powers left in the West, and aside from their rulers, you have to use OCs for this period. Because these would also be completely original arcs, I think it would work fine.

At the pace things seem to be going? Yeah, High Seas Heroes IS probably gonna end sooner. But, if so, at least you'll have a much larger and more robust storyline to draw upon for inspiration! To say nothing about the One Piece storyline....

Treant Balewood

Patron questions: 1. Sadly possible, but easily remedied put it on the next LS poll it'll prolly win :) 2. I love it, love the story the characters, the worldbuilding. Keep going! I am sad about GDWHOM tho.

Christian Jeffress

1. I think her sage powers coming back slowly over time would allow her to better acclimate and accept those powers in order to use them to the fullest extent by the time they come back fully. 2.Nope, not Irish. 3. Personally I think the main battle would be more interesting than the build up, mainly due to the lack of investment I would have for his peerage, with more interest concerning Harry Potter and his group. 1. The question concerning Thranduil is actually a bit difficult for me lol, I could see him being redeemed, especially after that emotional scene at the end of the final hobbit movie where he consuls Tauriel after her loss. But then again, I can also definitely see him betraying the humans and the doors so his own people take less of a loss. And since I see the duplicitous action more in line with his current character, I think he would be removed after the battle. 2. I honestly couldn’t tell you if those two kingdoms are interesting enough for expanded world building, at the moment, that would be a no for me, but considering how good you are at world building and adding interesting characters, neither would I be adverse to reading more about it. Taking into account your writing, I suppose I think I would enjoy more world building.

Christian Jeffress

1. Boa Is a very interesting character honestly, in her first appearance she definitely doesn’t come across as a likable character, but as you learn more about her her Renda’s past, the walls she built around her self out of fear of becoming a victim again, she definitely seems like a character with hidden depths and complexity. Overall, once some of her emotional walls are brought down, I think she is an interesting character that is very likable win around someone she feels she can trust and be open with.

Jeemit Patel

Filfy 1. Kuroka should def gain her sage powers back slowly w/ lots of training 3. I think if U try to show that, it would be either too little info or it would spiral into whole chapter. Better to stick to Harry and gang

xRoymustang

FILFY: 1. Sure, but if you drain her a second time will she be a loli like her sister rofl 2. sry cant help yea 3. I thought Sirzechs had Azazel with him when he fought Hades. Plus he would never bring his peerage into a fight against someone that strong. But his peerage has Souji Okita in it if you want a sword master to train someone =P MacGregor Mathers his bishop is the leader of golden dawn a magic association so you could use that guy later if you wanted. Fate Touched: 1. I think the old elf would try to make the other races shoulder the burden as much as he could without getting himself in trouble, but other than that I don't think he has much use anymore other than keeping lego from bring trapped home as king in the next book a few years later. 2. Gondor may make a good pit stop, but I don't think he would like the corrupt nature of the human realm much. Stallion: 1. Boa Hancock is a kool character, but I don't think she would get along as well with ranma as og luffy. And to be honest she has a nation to rule so she gets the vivi treatment. She would for sure try to kill ranma when the first meet unless ranma goes female during the whole stay on that island. Plus after shampoo ranma proby has a fear of amazons. Boa could be a good character if she wasn't a leader, but power wise she is proby the strongest non-new world female that's not in the marines. She is kind of ruthless to everyone but those she loves, like when she turns the poor girl that helped luffy to stone.

Brian Ziomkowski

Filly, Due to the fact that the Gremories treat there Peerage as family, having members die would emotionally rock Sir Zecks but it would scare the crap out of Rias thinking about her own Peerage and how vulnerable they truly are. So we don’t need to see them die but the after shocks should definitely be shown. Especially since it would be a good time to show his “human side”.

Scott

Fate Touched 1. I think betraying the other forces is a bit much, but I would like to see some real consequences from his previous actions beyond his telling off from Gandalf (which was glorious by the way). Maybe send someone like Glorfindel to “advise” him for the next decade or two. Something that would be the equivalent of putting him on probation for a time. Actually dethroning him would depend on what you wanted to do with Legolas in the future, and it might be a bit too far based on what he’s actually done (or not done). 2. I would definitely like to explore Gondor and Rohan. I have no problem with OC’s. A lot of the minor characters you used in Wild Wolf were essentially OC’s (the minor nobility – yes, many of them had canon names and status, but you invented their personalities) and I thought you did a great job with that. That’s actually the part of the story that I’ve been looking forward to the most (the gap). I’m hoping that by the time the date of LOTR comes along that events will have shifted enough that your story goes along a very different route than the actual books. Stallion 1. I think the Boa Hancock from the anime has exaggerated personality traits that make her feel fake to me (outwardly hates all men, instantly falls for Luffy, insanely arrogant because of appearance, etc.). I think that she has an interesting backstory and abilities, and her position as a warlord shows that she can interact with men if she has to (seriously, how did canon Hancock keep that title for so long). I think that if you adjust her personality a little bit to make her character more realistic then she could be very interesting, although you might get called out for making her out of character. I would make her intelligent, protective of her people and slow to trust, but capable of putting on a mask and doing what is necessary. Patron Questions 2. I would definitely like to see SOH continued. Based on your note in the last update you only have 5 chapters left so I would really like you to finish it. Finishing stories has always been your biggest weakness, and you’re sooo close. Don’t back off now!

2026-09-06 06:00 Greetings, since i only read "Fate Touched" i would absolutly like to see some worldbuilding with Gondor, they once had a huge empire that crumbled over time, once they controled lands till Rhûn (where the Easterlings from the Black Gate scene code from). So potential is there. Regarding Thranduil, he is a grief striken, arogant, greedy prick. But he also lost his wife to a disease, followed by the dwarfs denying him a trinket he ordered from the dwarfs made from gems he provided (meant for his wife btw). These events would change almost anyones character. So, i think, when something or someone plays Thranduils Keys in the right way, regarding his wife and the denied neklace, he can be redeemed. Eitherway, i eagerly wait to see more :D sincerely yours, TheOmniat

I think Boa Hancock needs a decent reality check, she's grow docile and used to things as they are and allowed her ego to rule her almost completely because of this, and needs to be taught that not everyone idolizes her, and that she's acting as bad as the world nobles in some regards. She may be a popular leader, but she didn't actually seem very good at it, and is definitely more intelligent than the two sides of her we generally see in One Piece cannon. I think that she is also far too overly reliant on her Devil Fruit. I would very much like to see her improve as a person and a ruler and I want to see more of her I am the ruler of this nation and work towards it's good side, she's shown during the Impel Down ark that she can be quite cunning, and I would like to see the parts of her that Oda doesn't show often.

Landrogar

I'm not sure Thranduil betraying the humans and dwarves would make much sense. Yes, he is cunning and prideful and carries quite a lot of distain for the other races, but he is not stupid in any measure and not so hateful to be completely unthinking. He knows the repercussions for him would be disastrous, if he did anything to undermine the allied forces (I am assuming at least the humans and dwarves will be allied due to Harry's mittigating influence on Thorin) but they are also fighting one or two massive armies of orcs and I would think that Thranduil's hatred for them would be stronger than his wounded pride.

Jon Patreon

I don't think Gondor is that interesting.

frank schellingerhout

think of her powers returning should be interesting while hiding in harry's faction. think redeeming is abit much just write him off. think gondor is interesting and seeing harry just exploring and world building could be fun lets him build a larger reputation for when the fellowship begins.

Diego D'Andrea

For FILFY: 1) Kuroka should regain his sage powers. 3) For Sirzechs I love his character and would love to see the fight. And I hope you don't kill many of his peers some are very interesting like Okita and MacGregor. I think they would bring interesting interactions with the Harry and Rias Gang For Patreon hope you update GDWHOM soon, it's my favorite after FILFY and ATP.

GreedOnGreed

FILFY source text: 1. Kuroka should regain her powers in the epilogue. 3. Show only the end of the fight with the POV of Hades and then summarize with Sirzechs thoughts. STALLION: Could Hancock initially be bipolar by becoming aggressive with Ranma and sweet with Ranko? The two of them could get very close during the two years of training, she would definitely fall in love with him when he mastered healing others with Ki and Luffy Deletes her slave mark. Hancock's character flaws are due to fear of her and the fact that she is a submissive; most of them would be smoothed out by finding someone to dedicate themselves to as in the canon and more if her feelings were reciprocated. in my opinion Hancock kicks away all the cute pets because otherwise she would lose face not being able to resist cuddling them, in any case it would be interesting to have her compare with the NekoLuffy helping him with her phobia, the Nekoken should be under control once we arrive in the new world . Could Ranko become the new empress by beating Hancock? Amazon Lily may be the first island to fall under the protection of Emperor Luffy and once he is publicly recognized as such some islands may have a crew member of him as representative including Bibi; it would be much easier with a long-distance travel ability like DoorDoor fruit or Hiraishin no Jutsu.

Dion Bennett

1) I gathered she’d regain he powers once the one who took them was defeated

TheLazyShadow

Fate Touched: Thranduil may be arrogant individual but he’s been in power long enough to know how to read public perception and after Gandalf brought him to task he could try to arrange things so Mirkwood comes out looking the best even publicly ‘stepping down’ and giving the throne to Legolas and then trying to wield power in the shadows as his sons adviser. Regarding Gondor is location and purpose as a shield against Mordor makes it important especially with Harry and his Patreon beliefs, I’ve no problem with OC in this case as logical you have no choice in the case of humans. Stallion: Boa is a interesting character, I don’t think she’d make a great love interest Ranma/Luffys or at least not a successful one. Ranma/Luffys reaction Amazon Lily and her people would be amusing and I think they could be a important island as they would be against the Celestial dragons and WG while not being already tied to another group like the Yonko or Revolution army. Boa would need to learn that she and her people aren’t as strong as they think with there main protection being the calm belt and its wild life, I think the Amazons could become allies to the Straw Hat, ones that could be public about it at least. Heroes of High Seas: Even if the main story ends there may be more and Fan writers and artists would keep the hype alive long after it was over, I’m mean you are a Ranma fan fiction writer. I would definitely love to give the story a read, just after some of your other story’s have reached there conclusion. Semblance: Speaking of ongoing story’s I’d like to keep reading, please keep going while the later seasons of RWBY weren’t as great as earlier ones I like the world and characters and am enjoying the story a lot. I was glad you went episodic with Semblance as I realised it was struggling to compete with the other story’s even for me at times and while it’s unlikely you’ll even get a chance to make it a epic length tale like some of your others I’m hoping we can get to that stopping point you alluded too. Also I use a app to download and take FF.net story’s with him and hope that you could update it with the chapter when you complete them, please and thank you if you do. Well that was a lot of writing, don’t know how you get multiple chapter out monthly as my fingers already hurt. :P

Delphinous

FILFY: 1. i feel like the base for kuroka's sage powers should return, but unrefined, that she would have to go through the entire process of remastering them and eventually earn her second tail back. basically i feel like her skill level in sage has been reset to 1 2. not irish, sorry 3. most of the members of sirzech's peerage are unknowns and we don't have any real care for them or connection to them, so i don't feel like we would need to see a battle. maybe a highlights retelling by sirzechs after the fact Fate Touched: 1. i feel like Thranduil will toe the line if gandalf if there watching him, but if gandalf has moved on whent he battle actually engages he will absolutely try to betray the humans and dwarves, in part to defy gandalf for daring to give him orders (because he's that arrogant in my opinion). after which, or possibly during the battle, gandalf should then remove him, or possibly legolas pre-empts him and removes his father anyways 2. i would say that exploring gondor would be interesting if harry was traveling with someone who wasn't human (maiar, dwarf, or elf) so we have an in-world outsiders perspective, but if harry was traveling alone, it would be less interesting to me. Stallion: 1. Boa Hancock is interesting. i sympathize with her because of her history, but i honestly dislike her, because she could have used her trauma to become a defender and protect people from what happened to her, and instead she basically became an abuser using her power to lash out at the world in the name of protecting her people as an excuse. i know that she eventually mellows in cannon, but she is basically like Snape from harry potter to me, where we are told that the character has redeeming qualities and should be forgiven because of certain actions they take and their past, but they are really just enormous douchebags. in my opinion she is hugely sexist against males, has a superiority complex and needs constant praise and affirmation that she is the best, the prettiest, the most powerful, so she wouldn't be able to tolerate being an equal and friend with ramna and his ladies, much less any deeper relationship, and she would have to basically lose all of those mental issues to possibly have a romantic relationship, and i feel like thats an almost impossible level of character growth, that it would basically at that point be a new character using boas body. My hero 1 i honestly don't know, my hero is decently popular and they keep periodically creating new evil organizations when the last one gets beaten, so it's entirely possible my hero will keep going for another decade, but it might end. either way, i really enjoyed the teaser chapter and look forwards to when ti finally gets added to the rotations S.O.H 2 i like the episode style updates and am still greatly enjoying the the story i've voted for the ramna/DXD story a few times, but recently i've mostly voted for the stories you've said are closest to being finished. i do miss saeko/ranma and the rest

Jair Marinho Cardoso da Silva Júnior

So, it's my first time Answering , but i hope my opnions help. FILFY: 1. Yes, i really don't see why her Nekoshou powers would return but not the sage ones. I mean, i would even say the oposite to be more likely. 3.I think showing the build up to the fight and aftermath would be better. It simply would take too much time away from the main cast, as much as i might enjoy Sirzechs character and antics. Also, about the peerage, do remember that the biggest reason Sirzechs has it is to go against Rizevim Lucifer, and that is why none of them are Sacred Gear users(which, by the way, is the dumbest mistake the author did until Trihexa(I mean, the Super Devil, and his only power is Imunity to Sacred gear? I mean...)Then i actually droped DxD. Or rather, never managed to gather will to read the rest, and i think the author should have ended the story there.) Fate Touched: 1. Thranduil, specially how it was portrayed, Would bow to Gandalf Wishes, so i believe he would should be removed after, Yes, he tries to betray the Human and Dwarfs armies. 2. That is a harder question. I think it is a great idea. But it will be hard. Its more a matter of how much effort you intend to spend on the years betwin Hobbit and Fellowship: If you have enought things in mind, go for it, we will love it. But if it will only tire you out, i think its not really a necessity. Stallion: 1.First, i will make it clear, i like Boa Hancock. I think Boa should get a similar treatment as Robin. Boa is a Deeply traumatised woman, with a many great deal of issues. I dont intend to repeat as our fellow "Delphinous" already gave most details i would give himself, though i don't dislike Boa as he seems to do. Now, i really think she would be a great love interest for both Ranma AND Robin. Not soon. I Think, they would get along badly at first, but it could grow as something great for all parties. She can get a great deal of growth as a person and ruler, and that maybe make her finally get involved.( i apologize, i know the love interest is not what you wanted to know the most, and its mostly what i spoke) So, to be shorter, i think Boa is a bitch, a deeply traumatised person, but a bitch at the start, even if most of her character can be though as armor against the world. Yet, i think she would be a great ally of the Straw Hats, and i really think she should get a chance as a love interest, but that would take character development and growth. Sorry, it got kinda long. Patron: 1. Absolutelly. But that in turn depends on how desperatelly the magazine will pitch for the author to keep going. I hope not, as it usually causes a drop in quality of the story. 2.Frankly, S.O.H. was one of my favorite storys. I had a time i would aways vote there. Only when it never won i stopped voting. But i will be blunt, i really don't like the short chapters concept. You rely greatly on world buiding, well described conversations, and well designed battles. And short chapters don't lend thenselves to none of it. Frankly, considering the posting frequency(one a month), short chapters really are painfully. I mean, if once a week was possible, or twice a week, but we all know it cant be like that. It ends dragging the story. Sorry, thats is my opinion.

Novus

Fate Touched: 1. I'd say remove him, though it might cause complications for the LoTRs plot, given that Legolas would be kinda busy being king. On the other hand, replacing Legolas with Tauriel in the fellowship would be interesting, not to mention be a useful aid in getting Harry invovled. As for the battle...it really depends on how disgusted his own people are with him. He might be trying to salvage his reputation with them by not sticking his toe to far out of line. Question for your Question though...are the humans even going to get involved? In the books they got invovled because they were the ones that had to kill Smaug. Right now, it's set up in such a way that might not even KNOW about the ensuing battle until it's already under way. Unless Gandalf stops to try and pick them up, I guess. 2. I think the answer here is: Do YOU find it interesting enough? The simple truth is that you're going to need a lot of OCs to span that period, regardless of where you set things. So, best to pick the area that you personally (as the author) have the most enthusiasm about. Frankly, I trust your world and character-building ability enough at this point to not be overly worried about the OCs, regardless of where they are located. Stallion: 1. Boa Hancock. Don't really like her...but don't really hate her either. On the one hand I can see her being a problem and on the other amusing. After all Raffy isn't going to be as naturally immune to her ability as Luffy was on the one hand. But...the ability to swap genders might cause amusing reactions to the Amazons. I think, ultimately though, Raffy having once been Ranma is going to be a major factor...since he's likely to not want anything to do with 'Amazons.' Ever. Patron questions: 2. Errr...wasn't the whole point in switching to doing it this way so that you could finish up SOH? I assumed you had some idea where you wanted to end it. So...going to that end and getting the story out of the way so we can get something more awesome seems good to me. Don't get me wrong, I read SOH (unlike Filfy when I only skim and GDWH which I don't read at all) but I'd rather you finish it up so that you can work on more interesting stories. Either current ones, or things like the Warcraft story or Hero of the High Seas. Heck, even the Homage story was better, I think.

Rumil's Apprentice

Fifly: 1) yes, I think she should (eventually, somehow) regain everything stolen from her. In general, I dislike the trope of women who are victims never receiving a chance at healing and/or redemption. 3) while I do not want see the fight, I would like to see the aftermath from Sirzech's perspective. Him and his peerage are above Harry and co's power class, and seeing their fight would give away too much from future fight scenes. But the aftermath would be interesting.

Tomon

FILFY 1) Yes, don't see why they shouldn't 3) That's a hard question. Hades vs Sirzechs along with their forces is truly interesting fight. Seeing Hades and his powers being hyped up and then just reading about the aftermath... Sounds wrong. That being said if it's gonna be happening at the same time as the stuff with Harry and co. It could be actually distracting. Maybe do a little flashback instead of explanation when these two groups meet? We will, at that point, know that Sirzechs won, but it would enable to show a little of the fight at least. And it wouldn't even have to be se detailed? Still it's just one idea ;) If you manage to make the showdown happen before I'm also all for it. Fate Touched 1) I don't think Thranduil can change easily at this point. Is he redeemable? Yes.. But in time? At best I can see you showing that he isn't rotten to the core, just a broken men who made bad decision after a even that traumatized him more that he is willingly to show? But it's still kinda a weak excuse. So if you wish to instead punish him for his action. Well, go for it. And if you're asking if he would try to betray the other like that. Hmm, I think his and elf pride could actually stop him from such action. But he might not reinforce the side which needs it or cooperate well enough if you get what I mean? But it's really up to you. But at least to some extent he should get his due ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 2) Only if it serves the plot. Exploring Gondor (or Rohan) for the sake of Gondor and Rohan inclusion shouldn't be done in my opinion. Still one could well argue that Harry should encounter one of the big human bastion. But if now or later is the question :) Stallion 1) Yes to Boa. I really like her character. Of course she is prideful, of course she can be called haughty. But I still see parts of the little girl who is trying her hardest to protect herself, her sister but later on also her people. If it requires to put a mask that make her unapproachable? So be it. She was always just let down by other people, she survived hell and encounter the worst humanity have to offer. So to me her behavior makes sense. But we also saw that she can be very loyal and also fair to people she feels gratitude for. And I also think that part of her still secretly want to be the one protected instead of always doing the protecting :) My vote is for her to be the second one joining Luffy and Robin. Heh for once we even got a woman who is beautiful enough to cause even Ruffy to react, but he will of course reject the notion. And it's not like Robin is any less pretty. But the reaction could be there. I'm very willing to discuss here more, but probably in PM as to avoid spoilers. Patron 1) Heh, when will you manage to get to Heroes of the High Seas? :) If you wish to finish few other stories first, than even with your amazing update speed, the possibility for canon to end first exists. 2) I just take them as a short chapter with one big issue. I hate reading on Patreon :-D But the Doc or PDF quite solve this issue so I don't mind. But well, currently due to time issues I'm actually slightly behind. But the advantage is I will be able to read more than one chapter at once. But that also defeat the purpose of smaller chapters so I'm not sure I'm the best to judge this topic. Still if you wish to know may opinion feel free to use them as your muse seems fit to update pretty much anything of your other projects :)

vimesenthusiast

LOL. Ironic considering she's going to be heading back to the Vatican after the next chapter.

vimesenthusiast

After the Egypt arc is done I will put FILFy on hold for a month to let GDWHOM get updated. After that, though, I may wish to push to finish FILFy since I think I could do so by February if it keeps winning.

vimesenthusiast

I didn't mean betray outright. I was thinking of, you know, having his forces in a poor position to aid one or the other group, or aiming his archers in a direction where he protects only his own line, that kind of thing. As for what I am going to be doing about Legolas in terms of the fellowship, eh, it's no big secret that I will be having Tauriel replace him. So that's one vote for an original arc. Good. I would not like to have massive timeskips.

vimesenthusiast

One Piece - that might well be as long, eventually, as Ruler of the Land, only many times better.

1. Everyone seems to be of that opinion. So then the question becomes, should she rip Titi apart, or should her powers do it for her... decisions, decisions... 3. This one people seem to be split on. Still good to get everyone's input though. 1. That's how I see him too. Pushing for those jewels, then trying to betray the dwarves at the very least.

vimesenthusiast

Hmm... Not certain I agree - I think it would be decided by how she interacts with the rest of the SW crew.

vimesenthusiast

1. ....It never even occurred to me to have Kuroka become a loli... that is both hilarious and disturbing. Well Done. 3. Azrael is not with Sirzechs and his peerage at present - you might be talking about canon. As for the magician's associations, meh, I've created way too many magical schools of thought as it is. FATE: 1. Yes, that's what I am thinking indeed. And as for trapping Legolas as a King, who is to say that isn't exactly what I want. 2. Corrupt? Denethor isn't around yet, and as far as I know, there was nothing ever shown about the rest of Gondor's leadership/government. Stallion: The Vivi treatment LOL!!! Considering my future plans... well that would be telling. as for first meeting, again you'll have to wait and see.

Agreed that the way the gremory clan treats their peerage is something that needs to be taken into account. Uncertain if Rias would make the leap from that to concerns about her own peerage. At least not while they stare at home.

2. Truth on the whole created the characters minus the name thing. Honestly I just wanted to see what people thought about using such world building to help pass the decades before the events of the fellowship, if they happen at all… Stallion. 1. The mask concept is a lock yeah. As to how she kept her shichibukai position, it was never about how you acted or if you could be trusted, it was always about power and notoriety.

vimesenthusiast

If I explore Gondor the Easter longs are going to be the main antagonists of that race. And it looks like most people seem to trus5 me to do the world building well enough.

vimesenthusiast

The humans and dwarves are indeed allied. So much so the humans can ask for sanctuary in Erebor. As for thranduil, he might believe he could get away with being subtle…

vimesenthusiast

When the Egypt arc is done, I will put FILFy on a month long hiatus and put my votes behind GDWHOM

vimesenthusiast

Hmmm… on the bipolar nature, if Raffy’s secret comes out yeah I can see that. As for Hancock being a secret sub, again hmm…. Ranko becoming the empress, ehh, no. I do like the idea of Amazon island being the first island to be formally under Luffy’s control.

vimesenthusiast

Ohh, returning unrefined, I like that! Harry would travel with Taruiel, or Fili and Kili, uncertain just yet how I want the romance to play out in terms of speed.

Fate: It isn’t that he is going to look to betray them, rather he wants to regain some face and prestige – especially with his own people. After all, why would he care about the opinion of dwarves and men? Blink and their lives have passed, and with them any prejudices. No, he wants to appear the hero, but might do so in such a way that the dwarves and men take casualties that he could have prevented in order to come in and save the day afterward. Most people seem to agree exploring Gondor would be fun Stallion: Hancock seems to evoke a love or hate response. Beyond that, I like the idea of the Amazons being allies, like Bon Clay and his crew. Semblance: I never honestly intended this to be epic length. I knew going in that I wasn’t going to ‘solve everything’ or put Ranma in a position of power in the world in order to combat all Remnant’s ills. I do wish to get it to a point where at least we can see the end of Salem coming and the end of her current schemes revolving around Cinder. As for uploading to fanfic, yes. I’m going to be going over the past episodes with Grammarly today and tomorrow and uploading a chapter-length update there soon after.

FILFy: ehh, I guess this question does seem kind of silly. Perhaps I should have asked how it should return, naturally or through her reclaiming them in some fashion. I think I asked it the way I did because I was thinking of having her become like Yubelluna – Blessed by Harry in a way and thus changing. Fate touched: 1. Glad you recognized what I was asking about – an in-battle betrayal he could try to cover up as being a difference of opinion in how the battle should go, subtle kind of thing rather than just pulling his army entirely back or some such. 2. I do intend to use the intervening years in several ways. I want to explore a bit regardless, it was just whether I should explore Gondor and humanity in this world over Harry staying with the dwarves and going into dwarven society more. Working with the geography of Gondor would be annoying, but beyond that I think it would be fun.\ Stallion: 1. I like how you walked your opinion on Boa through stages here, relly well done. I fully agree that Boa is a bit of a bitch, but um… you could say the same of Robin and her methods, as you pointed out. Or even Nami and her methods – stealing from other people, lying, cheating etc. The goals are different, but the question is, is Boa’s attitude a result of her upbringing and her need to appear strong, or her real personality. Personally, I think it’s somewhere in the middle. She deeply resents the celestial Dragons and their puppets, but needs to keep the WG happy, but she really is that arrogant and used to having her way thanks to her beauty. Coming up against someone who recognizes she’s one of the most beautiful women in the world but who isn’t willing to bend over backwards for her is going to be interesting. Patron: 1. LOL!! Yeah. See Bleach as a prime example of this, although who to blame for that is a question. 2. I will be updating several of the episode style updates into a chapter this weekend. Take a look at it in that format and tell me what you think. Thanks for the response!

vimesenthusiast

3) Hmm… uncertain if I would say his peerage is above Harry and co’s power – at the moment, Harry could defeat any two or even three of them if the third wasn’t MacGregor. I do think the aftermath would be interesting. Perhaps I should have split this question in two, since I also wanted people to comment on learning more about Hades and his motivations, but no one has mentioned it.

vimesenthusiast

FILFy 3. I don’t know if I’ve hyped Hades up in particular. I’ve given hints of his power and the problems any attacking force would face if invading a god’s realm, but that’s not quite the same thing. Unfortunately your read on the timing issue is spot on. Shit’s about to hit the fan, as I said, so I won’t be showing everything going on with Sirzechs etc. A flashback is possible, but I dislike using that particular literary tool. Perhaps a scene to show the final fight beginning, then when he meets up with Rias and Harry a flashback to the end of the fight? Or maybe the entirety depending on what else s going on in that chapter. Again though, I think I should have split this question up, since I was hoping people would comment more about Hades and wanting to see more of him, but no one has mentioned it. Still, it’s important to know Hades and his connection to our two primary antagonists, so that’s going to happen regardless. Fate Touched: 1. That kind of action – not reinforcing or cooperating well is precivesly what I was thinking of. Nothing overt, but subtle. 2. It would serve the plot in two ways: one, it would build Harry’s connection to Rohan, which I have been planning since the beginning. Just because Tauriel is now the love interest is no reason to throw that out the window. And Harry in Gondor could also be fun, and would let me deal with the Haradrim – and their pirates – and the two missing Istari, who were supposed to have fallen into Shadow. What that means, precisely, is only subjectively known, ergo, quite a bit of leeway as to what I could do with them. Honestly it is only the need for so many OCs that would stop me from heading into Gondor, hence my question. Stallion: 1. Hmm… While I like aspects of her character, I can’t say Hancock as a whole is very appealing. Like Nami’s constant need for money and being in charge, only much more so. I agree that much of her attitude makes sense, especially the idea that she wants to be the one being protected, but not to the extent of having her arrogance be entirely contrived. As to the reaction from Luffy being there, yep it will be, big time. But he will indeed reject it. After that, Robin and Hancock might have a fight all their own, the outcome of which will be… interesting. And yes, when we finish the chapter after the one you’re currently working on, we will need to plan out the next arc. Which, given the multiple character-driven parts means we might be going back and forth with the outline, so long as you don’t mind spoilers. Patreon: 1. Yeah… sad but true. I am thinking of putting Sword on hold and then adding in Heroes to the Patron only poll for a bit, pushing to finish Semblance and then we will see. Semblance, then Making waves, then ATP are the closest to completion if you go back chapters. Not by the amount of work needed LOL. ATP is still in a league of it’s own there. 2. I will be posting a Semblance chapter consisting of two or three episode-style updates over on Fanfic sometime this weekend.

Tomon

FILFy 3) Yeah, too many flashbacks can ben an issue. Still one as a way of explanation could probably work here. Still what you described it totally okay too. While ignoring the fight seems like a waste. Trying to wrestle it into the chapter could be even worse. So I like what you said. Fate 2) The connection could be very important. Really it's up to you and your future plans. Rohan could be a slightly easier but not sure what event could be important enough in that time period for Harry to be their known ally (be it for the king line or some other important group). Gondor could be a blast. I honestly have zero issues with OC for this place. It's an amazing playground. But it would take a huge amount of time to handle and could prove to be very problematic down the line if you have specific events planned for later. I think the part regarding your future ideas is the decisive one here. Stallion 1) I forgot to add one of my planned thoughts regarding Hancock. I think with her it's the case of when you pretending something for too long, you start to becoming your mask. Just imagine the time when she successfully escaped with her sisters. Then all she had were two things, her DF and her beauty. And said beauty is directly linked to a big part of her DF powers. So not only it was one thing she could use, it was her major weapon she had to embrace. And if you're successfully pulling off something for so long. Well you yourself starts to believe or are not really pretending anymore. PS: We also know for a fact that Robin doesn't mind women touch ;) :-D For the more spoilerish question you might have -> Just put them into email :)

Fate Touched: 1) I wouldn't mind him no longer appearing in the future, but if you have an interesting idea for redemption for him I trust you to do it well. I think him betraying the others (to set himself up as a hero as your other replies make clear your thoughts) would be a bit too much, but it has been ages since I read the Hobbit (or the LOTR trilogy, for that matter), so don't remember much about his character. 2) Again, don't remember enough of the lore to really say either way. I'd say, do whatever you want there.

GNDPOT

FILFy 1) I definitely believe that Kuroka’s Sage powers should be able to be relearned, but from the beginning again, since her powers were stolen completely so any magic pathways or ingrained processes to assist her with generating or controlling Sage energy is now gone. Also I am not sure if you changed it in the story but I believe Kuroka initially learned Sage Energy in the Underworld so could the ambient energy of the area effect the user like making her more prone to act on the 7 deadly sins (wrath) when learning in the Underworld, or with Nefertiti she is in the middle of some death/necromantic ritual making it easier for her to call mummies and death magics initially till she learns control to filter out these influences in her new power. It would be interesting if Harry sends Kuroka to Tir Na Nog to learn there and it makes her become tied to him like Yubelluna

vimesenthusiast

The whole tying Kuroka to him like Yubelluna was why I was wondering if her powers should come back. That way I could play around with her, give her an entirely new skillset and magical abilities. But frankly with everything else going on, it isn't really all that important, and... well, originally I had hoped to have Harry and Kuroka fall in love and have her be the last woman in the group. This isn't going to happen now. I think that Harry's involved with enough ladies, and adding another would seriously mess up the dynamic between them, to say nothing of their screen time - Yasaka's already suffered hugely for that, as has Kala.

GNDPOT

Ahh that would have been nice to have the catgirl join Harry's lovers hmm could she still end up going through a transformation as it sounds like Harry is going to eventually be working on the Nile river and if Nefertiti gets defeated or killed what's to say the power does not backlash/rebound to its initial owner taking with it some of Nefertiti's power and with Kuroka trying to use nature energy while all this is going down. Or she could become traumatized from everything going down and decides she wants to be closer to her sister as she tries to recover with Harry helping in his own way... ahh I think I see where she could have entered the family then

Chris

Regarding Thranduil...honestly, I'd like to see a redemption for him. A lot of what I'm about to write is inferred based on history, but I feel explains his actions. He's ruled by his fears and prejudices, that came about from being born and raised in Doriath during the First Age. He fear Sauron as he saw Sauron and his master at their heights in 2 Ages, and lost so many of his people to them. He distrusts/hates Dwarfs for their role in the fall of Doriath and Menegroth. With Smaug, again he's seen/heard tales from firsthand survivors of the Dragons of the First Age, he fears the devastation it could bring to his people from experience. Honestly I feel a lot of his pride is a cover for his fears. Edit: I feel a way to handle this could even be his stepping down for a time and letting Legolas rule for a time, maybe he travels a bit himself to Lorien and/or Imladris to gain perspective, confer with Elrond and Galadriel and eventually earn a seat at the White Council and return to reclaim his crown from Legolas in time for LOTR. But then I've always felt he had a lot of potential once he was dragged kicking and screaming into the Third Age and out of the spectors of the past that control him. As much as I dislike him, there is reason for his actions. I think with Gandalf now calling him to task and his own son showing the better potential of his people, and Harry himself...I feel redemption could be done and in a way that satisfies his character. As for Gondor, up to you. But it is funny that Aragorn enters the service of Gondor and Rohan as Thorongil soon after this (about a decade iirc), and it's about then Gandalf meets Aragorn the first time. Could be an interesting place to cause some ripples if you want, with Denethor and Theoden (Aragorn served their fathers at this time)
