Hey all!

So, now that I have knocked the last shit of April off my boots I am fully back. I will announce the small story poll winner (as if everyone and their mother didn’t already know how this went) later tonight. I needed me some comedy time.

Regardless, I have run into a few more questions I would like everyone’s opinion on.

ATP:

1. Is Loki an interesting enough character that you would like to see what he is up to during the obligatory downtime chapter after this arc? There will be repercussions to him and back on Earth due to this arc, but I am wondering if people would like me to use his POV or Gamora’s to show what big and purple has been up to with the Brood. (Hint: the Brood get schooled. Badly)

Stallion of the Line:

1. We are coming up to the point where I will need to decide if I should include the movie Strong World… and yes, a certain Devil Fruit. So should I include Shiki the Lion, and if so, is his fruit too OP? A part of me would like to but adding the Flight fruit in would be… well it would be a game changer. Note, if I did include this movie, I do not think that Luffy and Zoro would be involved. It might be just Nami, Brook, Sanji and the rest… Yeah, my original place to put this arc is somewhat difficult to fit in at this point. I could postpone it until after the War of the Best, but even then, it might be sans Luffy.

2. I am NOTTTTTT including the Movie Gold in the fic. Just… fuck no. Horrible enemy, horrible setup, horrible movie. But I have not seen One Piece Stampede. And I like having someone from the Roger Pirates going full evil and becoming an enemy that needs to be dealt with. Thoughts?

3. Was it ever explained if Kaido had a specific reason to try and interfere with Whitebeard’s fleet when he moved to attack Marineford? Or was it just wanting to challenge Whitebeard? I know Shanks cut him off, I am just wondering if he had a specific goal in mind beyond that.

4. This isn’t a question, just an announcement: yes, I have been informed of the true nature of Luffy’s canon Devil Fruit. Yes, Shanks has eaten it. That is all I will say at this time.

King of Champions:

1. Another announcement: yep, I have seen the results of my little surprise poll. The next chapter will mark the start of the Beacon adventure. Anything important will be hinted at, implied, or spoken about in a discussion. I will probably not use direct flashbacks.

2. Just checking my opinion on this point: Is Ozpin’s canon speech before the entrance test as lame as I think it is? Or am I just missing the point? I feel that Yang’s ‘he seems off’ thing is far too kind.

3. I have described Tia Arc all along as a human version of Tia Harribel of Bleach fame (not enough freaking fame for such a great character, seriously!!!) and I have a Semblance all ready for her. My question is… should I use the activation of her Semblance as a means to awaken the memories of the actual Tia Harribel within her? Or just keep on as I have with her and Arturia, with the characters based upon the originals, but not actually have their memories or anything else.

a. This is connected to the above. For Tia’s team, should I bring in the Tres bestia, or create entirely new characters. At first, I sort of felt her team would be nonentities, but I am having second thoughts on that point, and the Tres Bestia are just funny characters. Especially if I gender-bend one of them… heh. Although, again, they are not the actual Bleach characters, just based on them.

Bhaalson Remodel:

1. I want to start introducing more Blood Mage type magic, using Viconia’s questions as a medium for Harry to realize his magic could be way more versatile than he thinks.  But is that too pat, too easy?

Comments

Caerival

KoC 3. I would just keep it as "based on" instead of actually bringing in the memories. 4. Having her team based on the Fracions would be funny.

JDZ

+1 to keeping Tia just based on. You’ve already given great personalities to these characters I don’t think you need to introduce that complexity.

Alamar Xandal

Stallion 1. I would like to see the Strong World, however I don't think that a Strawhat should get Shiki's devil Fruit per say, I think they already have enough Devil Fruit powers. I also believe it's been awakened, so if somebody does get it, it's power should be nerfed until they are able to awaken it themselves and learn how to properly use it, as Shiki is actually a very good user of his fruit. Either way, I fell it should either end up lost, or with somebody outside of the Main Crew. 2. I haven't seen Stampede either, but the idea sounds really fun. 3. I don't recall there being a reason given in the anime, but there might have been one given in the Manga, I didn't read it so I can't say there.

Lord Forrest

For your question about Tia in King of Champions having the actual memories, that depends on if you want tie Bleach RWBY together in some way. I read a story that had the idea that Remnant was what was left of the realms that make up the Bleachverse after they fail to stop the Quincy King and the realms basically collided cataclysmal like. So basically if you wanted to have some kinda connection yes, otherwise no. In regards to the Tres Bestia, all of the yes. Especially if they still worship her and the ensuing jealousy over her devotion to Harry comes to play.

HP-DG-AP-PN-RG-NR

Hmm. For ATP: I don't care enough about Loki either way. So whichever path you choose, I'm fine with. Stallion: Point 1- I don't know enough about any of the movies to have an opinion here. Although, I'm not sure enough about the crew's abilities to deal with Shiki without Having Luffy or Zoro around. KoC: Yeah, Ozpin's speech is all kinds of wacky. If you decide to use it, I think that's what would be one of the first things that would set Harry's alarms off about the guy. -As for Tia, I'd be kind of interested in seeing her semblance unlock the memories of the actual Tia. Would be kind of cool, although, if you go that route, is there something that you could trigger that would awaken Arturia's past memories as well? Because, THAT would be an interesting thing thrown into the RWBY verse.

JBurton

KoC: 2. Yeah. I found it to be extremely lame as well. 3. I would prefer that she not have the memories. 3a. I'm fine with the Tres Bestia, but if you gender bend any of them, I feel like you might as well go with new characters. BR 1. I wouldn't say too easy, but it seems like it inflates Viconia's importance too much.

Brian Ziomkowski

In king of champions keep Tia human and no lost memories, keep her team the same but just comic relief. Anything more and you might have to flush out a backstory that will just be skipped. Though I wouldn’t object to Astoria’s frame changing to lancer.

M B

King of Champions: 1) Sheesh, people are so impatient :D 3) I'd personally prefer you keep it to them being inspired by the originals, no memories. But it is up to you. Having not seen the source material for RWBY or Bleach, no opinion on 2 or 3a. Bhaalson Remodel: I'd say it sounds like a decent way to add it in, not sure of another easy way to do so currently.

Landrogar

I think I would like it more if Tia simply kept being Tia, without her being a reincarnation like Harry is. As to Ozpin's speech, while I think that for the time and place in the original it was enough to display him as strange without being too long, I'm one hundred percent sure that you would be able to come up with something more fitting. And the Tres Bestias: yes please. I would like to see how you would make that dysfunctional team work.

Edward Holwell

ATP: Hell yes show us loki! KoC: No, keep her as she is BR: go for it, but don't make him a super mage super quickly, make him struggle

Novus

ATP: 1. Loki Please, for the love of boobs, beer, and second breakfast...NO. The point in you updating ATP so often is to FINISH it, not keep adding more random side trails so that it keeps staggering on like some sort of undead word-based monstrosity. Please no more extra POVs, side stories, or unnecessary complications. Stallion of the Line: 1. Movies Honestly? I don't really care, though I'm not at all intrested in the idea of the crew splitting up any more than absolutely needed. I hated that even in the canon time skip. 2. I haven't seen that one either, so no ideas from me. 3. Kadio doesn't make sense. One of his desires is to start the world's largest war. Which the War of the Best had the potential to do. But stopping Whitebeard would have made that LESS likely, not more likely. So, honestly, I think he's kinda just nuts and doesn't have any sort of plan or true motivations. King of Champions: 1. Yay. That is all. 2. Yes, it was lame. Frankly, Ozpin as a whole is kinda a giant yawn surrounded by lesser, even more boring, yawns. It's part of the reason I've always been a little luke-warm on RWBY. Frankly, I think you might have better luck with Remnant this time if you overhaul him and his...everything...to be more interesting. 3. Huh, I actually hadn't caught that. I never got that far into Bleach (season 4 was terrible and killed my enjoyment of the overall series). I think, though, that you'd be better off not complicating things. And introducing an entire extra crossover element would certainly do that. It feels like the sort of thing that could end up spiraling out of control on you all to easily. Bhaalson Remodel: 1. Not really? I mean, Viconia has presumablly spent centuries among a people who couldn't think in straight lines if they had a ruler and five paladins to help them with the effort. If she gets any hint at all abuot the versitiliy they should have, she's going to want to beat the idiot male over the head with stick until he makes proper use of it. All while muttering in drow about how much of a moron both he AND Imoen are... Come to think of it, I think the only really valid reason not to use her is that it might completely tank her respect for both of them if she realizes how stupid they've been in their use of the advantage. Might be better to have Tonks/Imoen bring it up... *sweat drops*

1 - with loki i would say if he gains his memories back like thor did it would be interesting to see what the consequence of it would be it story rather then in a likely flashback at some future point. 2 - i would choose an option that doesn't have the crew splitting apart to do something if you can help it, since after the fight in thriller bark luffy is more likely to be keeping a very close watch on the crew after what almost happened.

vimesenthusiast

ATP. If you are a Hobbit, I will have to force you to write your own Tolkien story LOL. But as for Loki... it would only be a few thousand words, what's wrong with that? Stallion: Eh, I think the splitting up the crew is necessary - their training is all over the place, and frankly, there are several of them who need to be trained up for a long while, and then there is Luffy, Sanji and Zoro, who are New World ready now. And then there's the plan to rescue Ace... heh. As for the movies, Strong World is easily the best of them, and it ain't even close. But it seems to be a consensus that it shouldn't happen. Which is interesting in itself. Yeah, Kaido is kind of weird Like that. KoC (hmm.. not certain why but that name sounds off) Ozpin in general makes no freaking sense. Hell, how baddddddllllly blindsided they are continually is just so stupid. So you need to suspend your disbelief, and just say, okay, the bad guys are just insanely good at infiltration and planning and everything... and then there's Siean Khan leader of the White Fang - the one who has pushed them into violence - getting offed like a bitch by Adam. No fight no nothing, just stab, dead. Da Fuq? Yeah, the original has issues. I think if the original creator hadn't died it would have kept the same goodness as the first two seasons although obviously even then, Ozpin is an issue. BHAALSON - oooooh I like this. I also think that her losing some respect for Harry for not seeing it will be a good thing, but I don't see her losing so much respect as all that. He's the first one to reach out a hand to aid her at all in this strange surface world After all. Still, you've given me another angle for her attitude when they start talking.

vimesenthusiast

No Memories, not yet. That is going to need something special down the line. Just a reaction, a mental groan as if a series of tiny hammers had struck his head in quick succession, then seguing into what he is doing at the time. 2. Unfortunately, they are going to have to split up soon. The plan to rescue Ace demands it.

GreedOnGreed

Could Shiki's fruit have been awakened? In that case when it was eaten by someone else the power could become much weaker, personally I think that fruit would suit Laki well. Zoro could get lost and Ranma be knocked offside by Nekoken or the two of them could be busy saving Ace. What would happen to Chopper if he was injected with the mutant serum? Ozpin may be more lame than the canon because he is exhausted and that is why death had to bring Harry into this world. I would say not to recover Tia's memories because bringing several reincarnators from other worlds would end up tangling the story.

Aragorn93

ATP: I like Loki, but I feel like any scene with him right now is not something I'm interested in reading. I can imagine what he's doing and that's enough. I t would just feel like something I had to get through to get to the good stuff. Stallion: I think Shiki could be a good way for the crew to get some power ups. You're right that the crew isn't ready for the attention brought by being on a logia's crew. But now you're backed into a corner because luffy can no longer afford to hold back, with the prospect of protecting the kujas and amazon lily, along with saving ace. Although I think Zoro is ready given his defeat of both Lucci and Kaku simultaneously, while also fighting Jabra. There's also his defeat of Oz to consider. He might not be able to beat an admiral, but he could definitely hold them off for a bit. The interaction with Shiki might also be a good way to incorporate at least part of the time skip. Luffy and Zoro, and Hancock, save ace while the rest of the crew gets scattered either during or after the battle with Shiki. The straw hats need the time skip or something similar to be ready for Luffy to stop holding back.

vimesenthusiast

I definitely think the Float Fruit was awakened - especially in the fights he had with Luffy, and the sheer number of things it was affecting at that point. So yea, it would be way weaker. But it could grow to that level again. I don't intend for Strong World, if it happens, to occur during the Ace Rescue arc. By that point, Luffy might be recovering, or... busy... with Hancock and the Kuja. Remember Hancock's agreed to help, but she still has to tell her people about it. Chopper and the mutant serum - eh, doubtful it would be any different than if he had turned into his full monster form. Ozpin is already lame, blind and dumb in canon. I don't have to do anything to make him seem worse. The no to her memories thing seems to be a solid majority opinion.

vimesenthusiast

So does that mean you just want to imagine the Brood being curbstomped, or would you prefer to see the scene from Thanos or Gamora's POV? Stallion: Zoro and Sanji are both pretty ready for the New World party. The rest I comment on in the latest chapter, so won't go into here. The timeskip/training time is indeed where I would place Strong World, if it happens. I would want Hancock involved in the battle, just to let her bond with the crew and for Luffy to bond in turn with the Kuja on Amazon Lily. Zoro would not take part either, although the rest would.

ATP 1. I would like to see Loki’s POV. Stallion 1. My recommendation would be not to include that movie specifically, but I do like the idea of incorporating Shiki in some way. I think that he’s an interesting character with a fascinating backstory, but the movie had to nerf him so that Luffy was able to stand any kind of chance against him pre time skip. I do like the concept of having the crew fight without Luffy as it would give other characters a chance to shine. Shiki's devil fruit is very cool, and a part of his character. If you mean should the crew (or allies) gain it at some point, then I’m fairly neutral on this. My only suggestion would be to assume that Shiki has awakened the fruit and is very skilled with it’s abilities, so if someone else used it they would be starting at a much lower level. Maybe before awakening the fruit can only allow it's user to fly as well as anything they are in direct contact with, as opposed to him being able to control things remotely after touching it once. Maybe have a weight limit too. 2. I would be good with this. Again, the movie itself doesn’t necessarily interest me, but I would love to see what you do with a character like Bullet (or even an OC Rodger pirate). King of Champions 3. I would keep Tia the way she is. You’ve done a lot to develop her character in the last two chapters (I really like her by the way), but if you suddenly gave her memories from a different person you would completely negate all of that. It’s still early enough that you could get away with it (if you did it mid to late in a story it would be a lot more upsetting), but I think that it would be a mistake. The only exception is if you want to incorporate a lot of Bleach elements into the history of remnant, in which case it would at least make sense. I would not be a fan of that myself, mostly because I don’t know anything about bleach, but I would at least understand that approach, and it might add an interesting new dimension with regards to worldbuilding. a. As someone who doesn’t know bleach, I am strictly neutral towards this, as long as you don't make them the actual Bleach characters with memories included. As far as I’m concerned, these would just be original characters that have a specific inspiration, just like Tia herself. As a general rule, I do not have a problem with OC's as long as they are well thought out. Bhaalson Remodel 1. I’m fine with this. I’ve been wanting to see more of the blood magic, but at this point you would kind of need an excuse to justify why he’s using it more. Having a new character question him directly is as good a reason as any. My only concern is if his magic suddenly becomes his primary weapon. I rather like reading a story where Harry is primarily a physical combatant and would prefer that didn’t change. The blood magic could be a secondary weapon, as well as being used in more subtly ways for things like disguise or information gathering.

ATP: Maybe as part of another Dani's Arc? As long as it's organic I'm fine with it, tbh. Stallion: 1: Same case that with Loki, as long as you can pull it organically and without messing around with your plans, go for it. Personally, I really like that movie! And I would love to see how Nami, Brook and Sanji deal with it! 2: GOOD, I like some of the characters, but the plot and several other elements are weird and silly, even in the crazy world of One Piece. 3: Kaido is a egoistical, self-centered battle-maniac with low key depression. He just wanted to fight Whitebeard and intercept him right when he was racing to Marineford to rescue Ace was a perfect opportunity. 4: Oh boy, I wonder how much it affected him. Tho' on happier thoughts, I'd love to see the five elder fuckers' reaction to that development hahahah King of Champions: 1: Damn, I really was looking forwards to that delicious worldbuilding. 2: Yep, it's pretty lame. In-universe my headcanon is that was one of the BIG signs of just how utterly tired/depressed/apathic is Ozpin after ""living"" for so long 3: I like Tier Harribel, but I'm here to read about Harry and his cute sister Tier Arc. So at much, maybe vague memories? impressions? Maybe a sudden desire for moon watching? I like the idea of Tier Arc being the actual reincarnation of Tier Harribel, but I feel the whole set of memories would kill Tier as character separated from Harribel. 3a: I like the idea.

Novus

ATP: What was it Tolkien said? "I am in fact a Hobbit, in all but size." Sadly, I honestly don't think I could write in Tolkien's universe, and I'm continually amazed you pull it off so well. There's just SO MUCH lore in it. As for the Loki thing * deadpan stares and waves at all of your collected work *. When was the last time you thought, 'oh it will only be a few thousand words,' and it was ACTUALLY only a few thousand words? Stallion: I don't like the time skip and I think you could work around it. But I've long since accepted from other comments that you're likely going to do some version of it. I remain against any more splitting up than it absolutely needed for the plot, though. It didn't make sense to me in cannon, based on the crew personalities, and it still doesn't. Besides, Oda got away with it by pulling a Deus Ex Machina, which is something I hate, but he'd at least built it into the story via Kuma...who you kinda killed off. The nature of Luffy's crew is such that they'd never have willingly split up if it hadn't happened first by force...and that's actually even more true of your version than the original, since Ruffy is arguably even more of a magnetic personality than Luffy was. That he's also able to offer all of them some degree of training (whereas cannon Luffy barely trained even himself until shit went sideways) makes it make even less sense. Particularly as Ruffy is smart enough to actually know his crew isn't New World ready and simply take the detours needed to get them there. KoC: Completely, 100% agree on Ozpin. I also suspect the original creator (Monty Oum) had intended him to be more...well...MORE. And no one really knew what that plan was. At least, that's about the only thing that makes sense to me. Though, as you pointed out, even early Ozpin has some...problems. Honestly, I think this is a case where you can probably take some pretty serious liberties to improve him without anyone protesting. Not only because he doesn't make sense as is...but also because I rather suspect most of your fans for KoC are far more familiar with Harry Potter than with RWBY. Heck, it's always something you can ask about in one of these Question posts if you're feeling creative with him. Bhaalson: Hmmm, I can see that. Particularly given how young he is. I can even see her gaining some of it back (or even more than lost originally) if she sees him running with the idea once suggested. And yay! I was helpful!

Braeden1002

ATP: I honestly wouldn't mind seeing what happens to Loki after this arc is completed considering I expect whatever geas that they all have been under to break. Which will be interesting to see if his personality will change or at least his motivations may change, so long as he hasn't already found a way to circumvent the geas. I'm also interested in finding out what Thanos and his group of elites have been doing but at the same time I don't want to know specifics when it comes to plans that he has in place for Earth. I'm curious to see if Gamora and Nebula will attempt to split off and away from Thanos with Loki's help. Stallion of the Line: Having not seen this movie and only knowing the character from the wiki I would say I would be indifferent to the inclusion of the movie to the series. As a devil fruit I don't think it's OP considering some of the others that we have seen throughout the series I would bet that it's only so strong because of Shiki's experience. Moreover, even if they fought and they decided to kill him the crew would just hold onto the fruit instead of using it, I don't think anyone in the crew would be interested in it at the moment. Personally what holds me back is that I don't think the crew would be able to defeat Shiki without Zoro and Raffy. Moreover, some of the crew as they stand don't interest me enough to focus on them. Bhaalson Remodel: I don't think it would be too easy. Even though Viconia would be able to help Harry expand his repertoire and by extension Tonks by giving him another avenue to work on. It doesn't mean that he would immediately be able to use and or put into practice what they discussed. Their spells still affect their vitality and having an idea on how to cast a spell or effect is completely different from knowing how to do so. He's had it easy because he and Tonks know the same spells and she can teach spells she already knows. These would be uncharted territories which would require constant practice and training before he can cause the effect that he wants and then reliably use them in combat.

(Do you guys get notifications when someone replies to your posts at this level? I only get notifications when someone posts into the original thread rather than responses) There is indeed a lot of lore for Tolkien. Although, did you know that in the original, orcs and goblins were the same race? It was only later where they became two distinct groups. …And your point is well made. Other than lemons and scenes with politicians acting like they do in RL I do have issues with controlling the size of things. Stallion: The time skip is not going to happen as in the original. It will be both shorter, and won’t be a full time skip. It will instead be a series of training montages. But consider this: It has only been a little over three months since Alabasta in fic-time. Even if you are being very generous, it’s only been four months since the Straw Hats entered the Grand Line. Zoro, Raffy and Sanji becoming as good as they have makes sense. Makino, Nami, Laki, Franky, Chopper, Robin? Not so much. Heck, Robin’s growth – being able to use Busoshoku – is a bit much. So instead of calling it a time skip, call it dedicated training time. As for splitting the crew, this isn’t how you might be envisioning it, with everyone going their own ways. Instead, it will tie into the training concept. For example, Nami, Franky Zoro might head to Weatheria (or whatever the floating weather institute place is named), where Nami trains her mind, while Franky maybe gets a few ideas to add to his cyborg body, and Zoro trains on his own. Or maybe Sanji is given… special anti-Mellorine training, while Robin, Laki and Makino are being trained by others (Rayleigh and several more). Meanwhile, Chopper and Luffy have an adventure, while the doctor gets one-on-one instruction. Then they rotate or split up in a few different manners after coming back together. Also, yes, I killed Kuma. I do not regret this. I like to shoot canon events in the head routinely. It’s fun. KoC: Eh, I am uncertain I wish to improve Ozpin. One thing I enjoyed about Semblance is leaving Beacon behind quickly. Too quickly in that, and too haphazardly as well. Here, I will want to wait until Cinder is dealt with before leaving, with Harry having gathered his own followers and enough knowledge to go hunting for Salem. Whether or not there is an actual confrontation between Harry and Ozpin is more of a question than if they get along or if Ozpin is redeemed. Your comments are always helpful, just like everyone else’s. I might not always agree, but I will always hear people out.

vimesenthusiast

ATP: Alas that seems to go against the majority. Not saying I will go with the majority, but if I do I will certainly try to control the size of the scene more than I would otherwise. Of course, as Novus points out, I do seem to have issues with that. Stallion: 1. I agree on Shiki’s backstory, and if I don’t go with the movie I would add him into the escapees from Impel Down that escape due to the War of the Best/Blackbeard raiding the place. Although that obviously won’t follow canon much either. I have basically decided that yes, the Float fruit was awakened, and would be much weaker normally. A weight limit is one idea, another is the amount of things the user can affect at one time. I think I would probably give it to Nami or Laki if I used it. My original idea was to have Eve take it, but… well, Eve’s already so strong that letting her fly would mean the crew would just win against anyone short of a Yonko and their chief officers. That might speed up the whole fic, but it would also mean for less individual growth. 2. Yeah, Bullet’s plot was stupid. The character is interesting, though. I doubt I would create an OC. Using Bullet or Brindi World is more like it. King of Champions: 1. Yea, keeping Tia separate from the character I base her own seems to be a very strong consensus. That’s good, since I in now way wanted to introduce Bleach elements. 2. The characters are kind of like female three stooges, with less slapstick, more snark, and combat ability, hehe. Bhallson: Yeah, the Blood Magic is going to pick up from here on. Harry will still be predominately a frontline fighter though. He and Khalid are the best when it comes to taking damage and keeping the opponent locked on them. Disguise is possible, but I would have Tonks do that, along with the information gathering, while Harry, with his greater health pool, works on creating new attack spells. One thing he will do in the next chapter is start to move away from the ideas of using the spells Tonks has shown him from back in their original world. Their Blood Magic is only limited to their power, health and imagination. SO the sky could be the limit, well that and the natural laws of magic, anyway.

vimesenthusiast

ATP: Dani does have a role to still play with Loki. Remember his wife’s spirit is still stuck within Dani. That ‘s why Dani has such a connection to the children Sigyn helped raise. Alas, seems as if any sign of how the Asgard Conflict is going to impact Loki will have to remain small and quick, if I go with the majority here. Stallion: 1. I like the movie too, but the fact remains that at present, the crew would be able to fight Shiki off immediately, so no being separated, no need to chase after him, just leaving his corpse behind to gently sink beneath the waves, LOL. 2. Heh. 3. If he just wanted to fight, then… ooohhhh… huh. That works. Just had a thought. If it’s the fight more than who he’s fighting then… 4. This ties into above. Heh. King of Champions: 1. Sorry. It will still be there, but just in the background. 2. I have mentioned before that a part of why Harry is there is because Ozpin has failed. Time for a new leader I think. 3. The consensus seems to be to keep Tia as is. No Bleach elements, but maybe some vague recollection of Harribel, weird dreams and so forth could be possible. Same with ‘recognizing’ the Tres Beastia

vimesenthusiast

ATP: Yeah, that is part of why I would want to show Loki at all. As for Thanos and the others, they were planning to move against Earth, but the Brood preying on Skrull territory stopped them for a time. If I showed anything from Loki’s POV directly after the end of the Asgard Conflict, in which the changes to him would be just starting or not quite obvious, then I would be showing how Thanos and the others have been dealing with the Brood. Thanos strikes me as the perfect kind of person to get rid of a whole race of telepathic bugs… Stallion: I would say Laki and Eve would be interested in the fruit, along with Nami maybe. “With that kind of fruit I could always get away and put distance between me and the enemy, it’s perfect!” I would further argue that Sanji and Franky working together could beat Shiki. Robin could also defeat him rather handily. Heh… see what I did there? Bhaalson: True, I did neglect to think of the time needed to experiment and so forth. The spells do impact their vitality, but that brings in a whole other idea, the whole question of raising stats or gaining skills thing. Could be interesting to come up with some Skills which can offset injuries or anything that would sap their life force. And yes, I intend for this to be a whole new area, no more leaning on the past spells of HP canon.

Braeden1002

ATP: I think any of the more war like races would have been willing to wipe out a species but Thanos would take it to an extreme if they are in the way for his grand design. It also makes me wonder if Thanos is going to be the ultimate villain and with his defeat it will mean the end of the series. I feel that with Loki's purview as the Trickster God and the fact that he has Jotun blood in him that he was probably able to circumvent some of the restrictions that the rest of the Pantheon has been subjected to. Plus it has been shown that the sphere of influence of the Shadows doesn't extend beyond the Milky Way. Stallion: This version of Franky that we currently have I do not think he would be able to defeat Shiki just because a lot of his abilities comes from the upgrades he has done to his body. I fully agree that Sanji could probably defeat Shiki as with Geepo he could keep up in an aerial battle. Unless Robin is able to Armament Haki on her external hands I think it would be hard but she could provide support. Nami would be interested not just for the ability to get away but because of the fact that she would be able to fly in the sky and Laki would like it as it would keep her more mobile when it comes to staying in sniping range. Bhaalson: Have you played or play games like Pathfinder and or D&D? There is a spell called Vampiric Touch that when applied to an enemy allows for the caster to than regain hit points from the target creature. You could also consider that familiarity with a spell could provide benefits, for instance if Harry were to cast a shield spell enough times then maybe the cost decreases as he becomes more familiar with the spell so instead of taking 10HP it now costs 9HP. Though I would say that you should not completely get ride of all HP canon spells as there are some that are really beneficial if they can learn or are able to cast them with their blood magic. I am also interested to see the relationship between Viconia and Harry grows and develops into a true romantic relationship. Initially I thought it was going to be Denehair that was the love interest, though it could still happen I guess.

Thematically Shiki's fruit would suit Laki's race, with it she could control more weapons and fly the ship; perhaps the DoorDoor would be more useful to her since it allows long distance travel and also a personal dimension where she can keep her weapons. Eve would risk a lot eating a DF because they don't know what effect it will have on her since the ship is her body and she is in contact with the water; in case Eve gets Shiki's fruit it will take her a long time to lift a ship but she could interact outside the crew using a puppet and it would become extremely difficult to board them because she could fly anyone who gets on the ship. I think the fruit suitable for Nami would be that of the nine-tailed fox or Kidd's magnetism; the latter would be useful for flying and fighting but above all it would improve her navigation skills, also being able to accelerate the waiting times of the log-poses. the crew would need more members able to swim, in the future Ginbei would have to join it but a couple of domestic aquatic animals that communicate with Chopper would be useful, the latter would fill the seats without requiring character development. I think the pairings could be: Ranma / Robin / Nami / Violet / Yamato plus Bibi and Hancock outside the crew; Sangi / Marguerite; Zoro / Perona; Franky / Laki; Usopp / Alvida.

If Eve ate a DF her spirit body could be out of action until Eve gains sufficient seawater resistance and this could inspire Ranma's training with seastone for those with DF.
