With SHIT getting real in the next chapter, there are several short and long term questions for Magic too.

1. Zule Xiss. What should I do with her? I have kind of left the door open for her to join the triangle, but at the same time, I have placed Padme as the doorkeeper, and she is very much against someone else joining them. Zule would be far better than Ta’a Chume, but from her perspective would it be too much? On the EMOTIONAL level folks. I know it would be sexy. LOL.

2. There used to be, and I can’t remember if it was canon or not, an idea that if a Force user lost a limb, he would lose some of his connection to the Force. What is everyone’s thoughts on that and main characters losing limbs? Or even permanent scarring? The next chapter is going to be dark folks, and it might get dark for some of the main characters too.

3. Thrawn. Currently I have him under the thrall of Palpatine, meeting with the Chancellor and being slowly mentally changed to obey only him and the Sith’s plan. But enough time away from Palpatine could allow him to start throwing off the changes, if it occurs in the near future – like the next few months. So should I come up with reasons to let that happen and have Thrawn available later to shift his loyalties to the Republic/good guys (not always the same thing…) or should I make him a villain. He makes a magnificent one after all, but he also is just a great character in general who will be getting more screen time after the next two chapters. I just don’t want to treat him the same way in two fics…

I had two more, but deleted them since they are huge spoilers. If you don’t mind those and want to give me your opinion, PM me here on Patreon.

No losing limbs that just hinders the characters. Scarring is always bad ass in my opinion. But also a permanent reminder.

Tim the Enchanter

Zule Xiss joining works in the sense that they treat her well past her heritage, something that would endear compared to most others with her. Plus it would be hot

1) I honestly don't care. I would prefer Ta'a if only for the increased drama and politics. I just don't think the harem should get too big. 2) I suppose it would depend on if you ascribe to the living force or the cosmic force. If the force user primarily draws from within, then it might make them weaker. If they draw primarily from without, then no real effect. 3) I would keep Thrown as a villain. He's was raced in an extremely stratified sociopathic society that makes the Ottoman Empire look well adjusted by comparison. Just for him to have survived that and attained the rank he did, he would already have to be a functioning sociopath. Besides, you already reformed Dooku, so is Thrown necessary?

Alex Crate

1. You've built up Zule for so long that I think not adding her would be a kick below the belt. I think a good twist might be that Padme is the one that brings up bringing her in due to all the time they spent together. I think it could be interesting and a bit of emotional growth for Padme in terms of how she reacted to the Ta'a Chume, which was rather negative when Harry and Alya were trying to get an honest talk about a sensitive subject. Not to shame her, but just to show her that she shouldn't be as close minded about their relationship. While I doubt you'd add any more other than Zule, it would leave the possibility open that way. 2. Generally I am against losing limbs when there isn't a way to restore or replace them. In the SW universe there's both technological and Force given opportunities to do this. That said, I still hate it for main characters. I didn't mind it for Anakin because I always thought he was a twat anyway. As for scarring, it depends on where it is for me. I hate facial scaring, or at least really disfiguring scars like Mad Eye, again, this is for main characters only for me. I know it's an HP story and he already has a face scar, but that one never bothered me because it was rather unobtrusive even if it was notable. I can't say much about the loss of connection to the Force from severed limbs, but I can imagine that it would disrupt it for a time until the Force user came to terms with the loss. 3. I haven't read your other SW fic due to a lack of interest in Ranma, but I can understand not wanting to make him the same in both. I think he'd make a good counter to Grievous, Harry, or for the fun of it, Ahsoka, manages to kinda bullshit her way into convincing Thrawn to go after Grievous. I personally would like to see him turned to Team Harry, at the very least to go against Dominus and Palpatine. Whether he stays allied with them is up to you. If this is the same or similar to how you have him in your other fic, then he will make a great villain as you said. I think there needs to be a balance on Team Harry's side against both Thrawn and Grievous though. Maybe they can suborn Admiral Trench, he was a good tactician and could be a good counter. And if you want some feedback on the spoiler topics, I'd be happy to help there too. Dunno how much I could, but I can try at least.

Khajiit has answer if you has questions (dumb skyrim brainrot) actual answers: 1) i honestly prefer the dynamic of the triangle. they really support each other and it feels like they truly have a 'stronger together than apart' emotionally, not necessarily force powers. i don't feel like zule would truly add very much to the relationship, and trying to fit her in would cause a lot of disruption and fairly needless drama. as you say, padme is pretty much a gatekeeper, and i feel like expanding the relationship at all would pretty much necessitate her removal. she is incredibly dedicated to her morals, and i honestly feel like she would basically tell them she was uncomfortable with more joining, and if they proceeded anyways she would leave the relationship. she would stay a strong friend and ally, just not a romantic partner. 2) i don't know how canonical it was that you lose connection as your body is damaged. i can see the arguments for it, because a jedi's connection tot he force is technically through midi-chlorians in the blood and less body parts means less blood means less MC's. however, i ALSO agree with and believe that the lost connection to the force might be due to the associated trauma, and the fact that the person doesn't feel whole and as such cannot center themselves as much to connect, and until they truly and deeply accept their altered person, they won't regain their full connection. also want to point out, canonically anakin was basically 50/50 machine and body as darth vader, and he basically kept his ridiculous strength, so as far as the main movies are concerned, i don't think there is a direct connection. additional edit for zule: she has had growth towards the pairing, but she could also still grow to go on her own way separate. harry and co isn't the only way for her to find happiness. 3) Thrawn is awesome, and i would love to have him as a bad guy. especially because he can be a sympathetic bad guy, and it's even possible that he might come to the conclusion that he's fighting for the wrong side and believe that the other side is the 'right' side, but continue to fight for the empire because he wants them to prove that they are in fact the superior side, capable of accomplishing their goals and ideals. and in that mindset i believe that he could die content, knowing that he had fought his best but the guys he truly believed were the better group to win had defeated him and proven themselves. you could also develop him as mustache-twirlingly fascist loving order-above-all and make him be a completely detestable and hated character who is still awesome and worthy of caution and respect, but that just emphasizing a different aspect of his personality instead. you could even make him be primarily a force hater, that he doesn't really support either side and mostly just wants to kill all force users to bring more order tot he galaxy and plans to betray palpy after winning the war for him and helping him eliminate the jedi

1. Don't really have an opinion one way or the other. 2. Limb loss is hard done right I think it can work but I don't think I like the thought of the double hit with the weakening the force side either and not sure in my head canon it makes sense, always thought of the force as a more spiritual energy than physical. Scarring is fine I think. 3. I would enjoy seeing a good Thrawn, he is a really interesting character.

Landrogar

Yes to Zule. Having her building a relationship of trust and friendship with Padme could work in bringing her in. I think losing a limb and losing power in the force with it was actually canon. But as you decide what characters can or can't do, the power thing is a good point. I love Thrawn. He is a magnificent villain. But he could also be an undeniably cool good guy. That doesn't mean that his choices as an Admiral for the good guys would always need to be morally sound to asure victory. I'd like to see you write a Thrawn like that.

Razgriz0x

1. I like that Padme is the doorkeeper here. But no opinion on yes or no. I'd like to see how well Zule and Padme mesh, even if she doesn't join the relationship. 2. I would like to point out the 3rd fight against Dagan Gera in Jedi Survivor. Dual weilding lightsabers with one physical arm and one force construct/ethereal arm. Watch a video and you'll see what I mean. 3. To quote a certain Dark Lord, "If he could be turned, he would make a powerful ally."

Brian Ziomkowski

In canon Thrawn detested the emperor and Vader for wasting peoples lives. He joined for the reason of a threat that is coming. If Harry is the strongest option he would flip in a heart beat. He is ruthless only because he needs to be in order to protect his people. That is the Thrawn that was written by Zahn and some short stories by Stackpole.

Callum Runchman

1. If anyone was to bring it up I feel it would be padme as she's spent rhe most time recently with zule and likely grown close because of it. When this is brought up i doubt harry would have any issues but aayla might point out the hypocrisy and use it to make padme more open to the idea of Ta bearing one of Harry's children. 2. Whilst you could say there'd be a loss in power or self confidence I feel it'd be better for the new abilities haeey and lily brought with them to be showcased again. It's well known wozards could reattach severed limbs like how one would if they lost one getting splinched. 3. Thrawn is an incredibly complex character who in my opinion isn't truely evil. He joined them empire to combated the future threat from the unknown regions and if a stronger group existed I feel he would have betrayed the empire in a heartbeat. Have him go on a long campaign where he sees the subtle hidden strength of Harry's faction and use it to open his eyes to palatine's manipulations of him. This would result in an incredible villain becoming what could be considered an antihero. Still ruthless and uncompromising but sided with the light and truely prepared to fight for the galaxy's survival

Jordan Belmont

I see Zule I say yes. I like a lot of what Alex Crate said. But since you started this story I have been behind Zule with harry period. I like padme but if she's really got issues with another person in this relationship. That's crazy closed minded for a girl who became queen in a galaxy far far away full of alien ppl and cultures. All while being 14 years old lol. Just saying. I stand by Zule. As for the force/magic. I really don't see why losing body parts should stop your ability to use ether. You have examples in mad eye and Vader for the loss of limbs not affecting your power in a negative way. I don't mind scars on the body. Especially for Harry think about it dude had all kinds of scars from the dursleys, basilisk, quidditch and battles. So yeah give him scars. The limbs are a different story. Like how can he not have ways to regrow them with magic and advanced tech.

Novus

1. Zule Xiss. I would be extremely sad to see her shut out. To be honest, I’ve reread the entirety of Magic three times now, and she’s far better connected to Aayla and Harry than Padme ever was. The simple truth is that their relationship with Padme is…debatable. It’s made up of only like, a year, of intermittent remote communication. With a multiple year break between the first part of that and the majority of it. You can literally count the number of days they were in the same star system with her and come up with an answer of…a couple weeks. At best. She’s frankly little more than a penpal crush they’ve glommed onto and fallen for. Zule on the other hand had YEARS with both of them and started showing interest clear back when they were still on the training ship. Before Aayla even really understood the concept of adult relationships. Frankly, they should have a closeness with her far beyond even Padme, and you’ve made it plain that both are attracted to her. I’d assumed you’d left Zule with Padme so they too of them could get to know each other. With all the exercise time being, in part, to let Padme develop an attraction to Zule. Thus easing her entry into the relationship. Obviously, I’m 120% behind her being added. Frankly, even if it meant Padme being discarded. Zule has a far more complete emotional bond with them then either of them have with Padme. And, as a Force Sensitive, she could probably actually be added to their bond in some fashion, eventually, where it might be impossible for Padme. 2. First. That is a 100% pure fanon thing. It was NEVER canon, not even in the EU, for loss of limb to reduce someone’s connection to the force. It was a thing that was batted as a common fan theory, but both canon and the EU both shoot it down. Force connection is determined by the total count of midichlorians Per Cell. The total number in the body was completely unimportant. Which makes sense, given that Yoda would have little chance of being as powerful as, say, a Wookie Jedi, if it worked on total body count. It’s the Per Cell count that matters, so Force Power doesn’t alter when limbs are lost. As for my thoughts on main characters losing limbs? Honestly, in the Star Wars verse it simply isn’t a big deal. Their prosthetic technology is such that it can even be a net advantage, while also being an emotional roller coaster. Scarring…honestly that one is a question of if it’s even a thing in Star Wars if you don’t want it to be. Even modern cosmetic surgery can drastically reduce scars. It’s a bit hard to believe that the medical tech level (not to mention force healing) in Star Wars couldn’t fix them if you really wanted to. So for scars, I’d think the only reason to keep them would be personal. If someone wanted a reminder of something, for example. That sort of thing can be a powerful storytelling tool, but isn’t one-size-fits-all. So my opinion on it is mostly ‘if it makes sense, go for it.’ 3. Thrawn. I have to admit, that Thrawn is a divisive character for me. I loved him as a villain in the Heir to the Empire stories. Some of the best work in the EU, no question. But he tends to get…overblown…when written into fanfiction. He was a fantastically good strategist/tactician, but there’s really only so far that actually extends. Frankly, I’d expect him to actually be outright outmatched by Garm at the current point in the story. The Chiss Ascendency isn’t that big, and Garm has been working at the galactic scale since the start of the GDL…from a point of experience similar to Thrawn’s in the first place. That is, having mostly done system/sector level defense. Thrawn can probably match him on a tactical level, but would currently be crushed by Garm on a strategic level. He’s also…kind of an arrogant asshole who is so certain he’s right about everything that he’s not actually all that mentally flexible. That’s pretty much how he got bested in the end. To be honest, I don’t think he really matters all that much for the immediate future of Magic. He can change a single front, maybe. But it’ll take him quite a while to be able to do more than that, I think. For the same reason everyone else is struggling. Scale. My own opinion is that it doesn’t really matter what you do with him. But I’d prefer to see him as a challenging villain at some point over seeing him redeemed. Mostly because I don’t think that, even if he gets out from under Sidious, he’s going to get along with the GDL. They are too chaotic for him, which will put them at odds with his personal view of how the universe should be. Since he’s one of those that can’t let go of that, can’t accept the universe as it is, instead attempting to make it conform, I don’t think it would end in anything but blood between him at the GDL, at least.

zagan

1. It would be sexy yes, but I don't think it would work in the story and it would bog down the romance. 2. I don't know enough SW lore to say anything about the consequence of losing a limb for a Force user. (Darth Vader himself appear to disapprove that). But I'm not against seeing some real consequence for important characters like losing a hand, arm or leg. 3. Considering he was with the food guys in Horse, he can stay a villain in this one. With perhaps a mini redemption arc at the very end. Sacrificing himself to save a bunch of civilians?

frank schellingerhout

1 like the triangle expanding it further would be trying to keep check with every one . 2 meh dont know this lore bit could be fannon also my thoughts would be to leave it aside. 3 would like the see our friend being free from the sith as for joining the good guys thats fine but could also be interesting to see him doing his own thing thrawns pirate gang ?

Tom smith

1 i dont mind either way if she joins the triangle, maybe something along the lines of political "alliance" all stiff upper lip and all then slowly gets closer to the group to end up fully committing. 2. i dont know if thats true or vader would be like half strength. same with maul but he seemed stronger later on. 3. i say let him get free. imo he seems like a guy that self-exiled himself (i think) to get help for the yuzvong (spelling?) so if anything, he would see the practical side of Palpatine is causing chaos to destabilise the galaxy and that would help his people fight the vong. (if that's the route you go, no clue what Disney has done to bring him in after they axed legends timeline.

Darth Bayes

(2) an arm is around 5% of body weight, which feels decent for consequences that are bad but might seem worse than they are. Iirc, this was related to the Force causing an anti-droid bias, and possibly midi-chlorians. However, I don't _think_ body mass and Force strength are related. I would likely handle this as "-5% Force connection, but if you get over the loss without replacing it with metal it will slowly recover over time" (The only _known_ purpose of midi-chlorians is allowing blood tests to detect Force potential, which is much more important than it sounds. Though I personally like the hypothesis that, because we have proof you can be sentients without a Force connection and Force sensitivity likely didn't evolve independently in ten thousand species, midi-chlorians convey Force sensitivity between species live a virus.) 3. There aren't only two ways a character can be; I believe you could make a very different Thrawn if you wanted.

Bryan Brown

1. I think it would depend on when Padame figures out that Harry and Alya were thinking about asking Zule. They are not going to bring it up and Zule shows no signs of even being aware of it. So if Padame figures it out next chapter after just having delt with the Ta’a Chume issue the answer would probaly be no, unless something major and personal happens between her and Zule. If she figures out 2 years from now at the end of the clone wars with Zule having been with her 24/7 as her bodygarud, it might sound like an exellent idea at that point. 2. If I recall correctly that was made in a book referance to when Anikin became Darth Vader to explain why he fought so differently. Of course he lost 4 limbs, suffered 3rd degree burns over 100% of his body, and had his lungs damaged to the point he couldn't breathe without assitance, and he was still more powerful than 99% of all force users. So probably dosen't affect raw force power. Might affect fighting style or techniques as maybe harder &/or easier to reinforce artfical parts to do diferent things. Then again lightsabers are suposedly saturated in the force so there has to be a way to do the same to cybernetics. However if star wars was made in cronological order they would have just cloned Anikin new organs and replaced the damaged ones since with full clone techonology they would have to be able to do so if future cannon didn't prevent it. I don't see injury affecting force use as more then a temparory issue until tech/ training overcomes it. 3. Can't speak for the Disney Thrawn, but in the books the Chiss are a heavily authortative society, Thrawn is exstordinarly ruthless and pragmatic, and his entire motivation is to create the ultimate war machine to face an exterem threat from unkown space (the Vong). So unless the GDL can convince him they will be a better army than Palpatine empire he won't flip and does not need brainwashing to join the empire. He is very much a for the greater good the ends justify the means type of guy. Of course even if he goes villian if Palpatine starts losing he would cheerfuly betray him to get an audanice with the good guys to reval the oncoming threat and set up the sequal set 50 years from now so...

Stars90

2. I suspect what you're referring to is about how Vader never could reach the full potential of Anakin because the damage to his body also damaged his connection to the Force. I do believe that it canon, but I don't remember having seen anything suggesting Anakin after Geonosis or Luke after Dagobah had quite the same issue, so I'm not sure if just losing a single limb would do that. 3. Thrawn definitely has tremendous potential to be both a bad guy and a good guy, but the key with him, especially in Legends, is whether he believes a government can function coherently enough to pose meaningful resistance to large outside forces. If Thrawn can be persuaded that anyone other than the Empire could, I think he might readily be willing to switch sides. He definitely knew well the flaws of the Empire, and I doubt a man like him could fail to see Palpatine for what he was

Kevin Thunder

1. I think Zule has a lot of potential, and she would be easy to include. She's already shown interest in Harry and she is close to Padme. If I'm honest, I had always thought it would be a throuple with Zule in it and than Padmé joined, so I thought it would be a quartet. I was bummed it didn't happen. It seemed to be building up to it. Padmé could be a natural gateway for Zule to join the relationship now. Padme fell for Anakin in the brief time he was her bodyguard. Personally, I worry about Padme being a third wheel. She is one of my favorite Star Wars characters, so I don't want her to get accidentally shafted. Padme is close to Harry/Aayla, but there is also no denying the fact that she can never be as close to them as Harry and Aayla are to each other because of their bond. Harry/Aayla are also together physically all of the time. Padme basically only saw Anakin for a quickie in-between missions during the Clone Wars. Anakin was fighting a war and Padme was a full-time Senator trying to mitigate the war, so it wasn't like they had any down-time. In fact, Padme was roughly 7-8 months pregnant in RotS, but Anakin never found out until he went back to Coruscant, because he was off fighting in the Outer Rim Sieges for several months and she didn't want to tell him over the holonet for obvious reasons. They barely saw one another. Harry/Aayla will be even busier than Anakin, because not only are they Jedi and off fighting in the war, but they are also leaders of the GDL, although, true, Padme might be able to visit them as a diplomatic liason. So, personally, I certainly would not mind if Padme/Zule became a couple and both of them were also with Harry/Aayla. Padme and Zule do have a lot of chemistry, together, and Zule also has a ton of chemistry with Harry/Aayla. 2. I believe you are referring to the Burning of Mustafar. Anakin/Vader did not lose any Force-potential because of his loss of limbs. It was because he was charbroiled alive and suffered extreme tissue/nerve damage and cellular degradation, both inside and outside his body, destroying much of his midichlorians. He was then encased in a life-support suit that essentially cut him off from the Living Force, because he was quite literally "more machine than man." Prosthetics may, however, make channeling the Force more difficult. It would take practice for sure. The last thing you want to do is damage your own cybernetic limbs. I do believe that, in the EU and in Lucas-canon, Vader's suit made it much more difficult for him. I imagine he also would have had to pump more power through the Force-null durasteel than he would otherwise have to. He was still very powerful but certainly not the titan he could have been, and emotionally, he was wreck, which further crippled him. Lucas always referred to Darth Vader as "pathetic." 3. It honestly depends on where you want to go in regard to the Empire. Will the Empire still rise but be less powerful? Will Sidious triumph like he did in RotS, but because of Harry and the GDL, the Rebellion starts much sooner? Or is Sidious' plans for the Empire doomed? Those are questions that I feel you need to work out. I feel that Thrawn is a complex character at times, in part because he was developed piece-meal over the years. I would place him in the Lawful Evil category. He is unable to relate to others, not does he want to. He is also cold and calculating, and ruthless. Which version of Thrawn are you thinking? There are several different versions. The Thrawn from Rebels/Ahsoka feels very different than the new Thrawn Trilogy. He is pure evil in the shows, but he is much less evil in the Disney canon books. Similarly, the old EU's Thrawn changed at times. Personally, I feel that Thrawn will always do whatever is best for himself first and the Chiss Ascendancy second. So, I see him serving the Republic/Empire for now so he can gain more later, unless Harry can give him a better offer; but if I were Harry, I wouldn't trust him. However, I just don't see Thrawn switching loyalties. Hary can't offer him as much as Palpatine can. Why is Thrawn helping Palpatine in your story? For pride? To prove himself? Was he exiled and had nowhere to go? Or do you plan on introducing the Vong later on, and, perhaps, he thinks serving Palpatine for now will be the best bet for his people? I suppose that Harry might be able to sway Thrawn with his rune-ships, if its the latter. An entire fleet of the Tyrant's Bane would be the Vong's worst nightmare, but, again, Harry certainly wouldn't be able to trust him. Of course, Dominus might decide to use his freaky mind powers on Thrawn and take him for himself.

Kevin Thunder

There is a grain of truth. However, it was more so Vader being boiled on Mustafar that destroyed much of his potential, per George Lucas. The prosthetics and suit, however, did make it much harder to channel the Force.

Kevin Thunder

Yeah, regardless of who he works for, or whether or not he betrays Palpatine, I don't see Thrawn being a good guy.

Kevin Thunder

The Force is both physical and cosmic.

Kevin Thunder

Ta'a would be a bit impractical, geographichally speaking, but I'm not entirely sure wants a proper relationship. I think she mostly just wants Harry to sire her an heir.

Beleriond

I don't disagree. I just want the story to be good and a more complex and political character like Ta'a does that. No offence to Zule, but she's pretty boring compared to Ta'a.

Bryan Brown

True. However I can see why Padame would not want her lovers prostuting themselves for political gain.

Novus

So far as I know, the deepest dive into the loss of limb thing in the EU was in the Darth Plagueis book, where he outlines that loss of limb causes no inherent change, but often mentally limits the Force user. Essentially, a psychological effect rather than a 'real' effect. I believe current canon says the same, that any effect in mental. It's possible there was a time where it was stated otherwise, given how much of a morass Star Wars lore can be (Triply so when it comes to the Force specifically). But I've never seen any official reference to it having an effect on total force power, beyond any mental limits.

ynony

I've liked Zule's dynamic with Harry/Aayla for much of the story and now more recently her dynamic with Padme, so I'm very much in favor of her joining. There's been too much build towards it to not see it paid off. I see the comments regarding the Vader suit limiting Anakin's abilities, but I swore I saw somewhere that Sidious intentionally made it painful to increase both Anakin's connection to the dark side and Sidious's ability to control him. Either way I would prefer not to see a main character seriously maimed or scarred, but I admit that has nothing to do with anything other than my personal preference. I think the GDL could really use someone of Thrawn's capabilities specifically to combat Grievous, but I'm not entirely sure it makes sense from Thrawn's perspective. I'm certain you could make a good arc out of it though if that's the way you want to take it.

Kevin Thunder

The old canon, whether Lucas Canon or the EU/Legends Canon, had Anakin/Vader losing much of his Force-potential in the fires of Mustafar.

Starazer

I understand that canon has a physical component that determines your ability with the force but I reject midichlorians, thus why I mentioned that it was my head canon. To me the force makes more sense cohesively if it is purely spiritual force that can be used to create physical effects, like a form of magic.

Novus

I understand you believe that, but after you said it the first time I went back to try and track down any mention of that 'per George Lucas'. I can't find a single reference to that sort of thing, anywhere. I found a couple of dozen conversations about the limb lost thing and plenty of quotes...none of them from Lucas, none of them mentioning a power falloff after Mustafar. Worse, Vader is actively shown throughout dozens of different media sources pulling of feats of the Force usage that were far beyond anything Jedi Anakin could pull off.

Braeden1002

1. You are right that having Zule included in the pairings would be incredibly sexy and so I do not need to expand on that point at all. I think the one thing that separates Zule from Ta’a Chume and other notable characters is also that Padme and Zule have a bond of friendship, trust, and respect. With all the time that the two of them have spent together I can easily imagine the two of them having a heart-to-heart conversation and expressing the love that they both have for Harry and Aayla Secura. Not even just a conversation like that whenever the foursome would have talked in person or over video, I also expect that Padme would have been able to read some of the facial expressions and just see how much those feelings are reciprocated. 2. I honestly do not have a problem with a character having scarring or the potential for lost limbs as long as it was a result of a threat that was truly dangerous. It is kind of like what happened to Emma Frost in A Third Path to the Future when she had been injured when attacked before she truly became the White Queen; or similar to what happened to Shaak Ti in Horse of the Force when she sacrificed herself to protect people. In a situation like that I fully expect that a character could walk away with scars or injuries. But at the same time, I do not want it to be a situation in which the characters could have prevented things from reaching the point of injury because of gross negligence or stupidity; if that makes sense. So, I am more okay with scarring then I am with losing limbs. Another reason that I am okay with it is the fact that it shows the gravity of the situation and battle in a way that separates it from cartoons and Shonen anime where no one ever really dies and a good sleep heals all wounds. 3. Honestly, I would give him the option to shift his loyalties as it would actually fit his character and personality; considering one of his core tenants is that in order to achieve victory in war one must know their enemy. So, I could see him reaching a point that as he looks at not only the Republic but also the GDP (I can’t remember the acronym that is being used) to learn about them that he might realize that he might be better off with one or the other. Moreover, with Thrawn’s intelligence and being around Palpatine and seeing how he is controlling both sides of the war all for the sake of wanton destruction and consolidate power he might not approve of things. Though I will also say that I do not think that he would just leave the Sith even if he thinks it is the right thing to do. I see him as the type of commander that cares about those under his command and so he might not leave the Sith to protect them the best that he can and would more than likely wait until the end to surrender and minimize if not outright prevent any heinous war crimes from happening under his command, to show and be a respectful commander. Or he might probe the enemy commanders to see how they would react to certain battles and situations before even deciding if he should consider leaving. If or when you read this I am more than happy to take a look at whatever spoiler questions you have and to way in my opinion.

1. Zule offers intriguing perspective and very possible equal love for both Harry and Ayala. She should be added once she and Padme gets closer emotionally. 2. Does not matter on physical level, force is spiritual component and not physical otherwise Yoda would have very small force power since he is tiny compare to others if going by physical size and percentage of force allocated based on body parts. 3. Thrawn can always be the example of the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

1. I don't really have a preference on Zule. She is Falleen, and while they are described as incredibly attractive, they are also a cold-blooded reptilian species and I just don't see how they would be very compatible with humans due to their colder body temperature. Wouldn't it be like being with a vampire? Also per the Star Wars wiki: "As a cold-blooded species, the Falleen respected discipline and control, particularly self-control. They tended to shun public displays of emotion, and were very patient. As a result of this attitude, they tended to look down on the more openly passionate, whom they saw as lacking self-control." 2. In Anakin's case, the loss was such a significant percentage of his body that it weakened him a good deal but part of that weakness was also the negative impact on his ability to focus by the continued pain and discomfort he continued to feel from his injuries. Vader was not fully healed before he was shoved into that suit and thus continued to suffer. Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker was not impacted noticeably at all with the loss of his hand and still reached his full potential. 3. I'd like to see Thrawn break free and become disgusted and all the more opposed to Sidious because of Sidious' usurpation of his free-will. Something that would directly give him "skin in the game" so-to-speak.
