This is the site to request tickets to see the indoor show tapings and separately, the outdoor mini-concerts. The show has an outdoor stage behind the theatre that they tape the show in. That outdoor stage area holds a few hundred people and this service distributes tickets for both on the days where an artist has been invited to perform at the stage. I don't watch the broadcast version of the show, just the YouTube clips, but if I recall correctly, Jimmy will introduce the band out in the crowd and they'll start playing and the show will use footage from that first song to play out the closing credits of the show. And the artist will do a maybe a 15-to-20-minute mini-set and often, the Kimmel folks will put that professionally-shot and mixed set up on YouTube. They tape Mon, Tue, Wed and Thu. Outdoor stage artists can be booked on any of those nights. I see that Jimmy is on vacation next week and guest hosts are going to be assigned each night as well as guests and musical acts. For next week right now, Imagine Dragons are at the outdoor stage on Mon the 24th and Jelly Roll is out there on Tue the 25th, but nobody is announced yet for Wed or Thu. So watch that space. UPDATE: It's confirmed! Definitely watch that link if you're interested in attending in person.

I agree with the second part, since I am probably in the half that he hates. As far as the VMAs, they only had about 45 seconds aired between the two songs. I still think a full song on air would be huge exposure and to a different audience than the VMAs.

On the VMAs they got less than 30 seconds of both songs. On Kimmel they would play a full song and he would mention the new Album and perhaps talk to them. That would be huge. Btw please don't get political on this platform.

My other favorite female fronted band, Larkin Poe, made an appearance on Kimmel last year...don't think it did much for more public awareness. Kimmel rarely includes an interview with the artist...just a song at the very end of his show. So I hope JK stands for something better!

Depends how powerful the track used is, like evolve at the v m a’s, that kicked serious rear, the girls have to use this opportunity, how ever short etc to hit people hard and make them pay attention and look them up, knowing the warning, this will be an opportunity not wasted , and who knows who will see it and open more doors for them 🤘🏻 go girls , watching with total excitement from the u k 🤘🏻
