TW has evolved every album, but so far they have done nothing to make us believe they won't put out great music! I was worried after QOTMS that they wouldn't be the same, but then they came out with Narcissista and Martirio, which are both awesome songs. I can see how the production is going to be top notch and maybe that will sound commercial to some. But I didn't think it was mellow at all.

Eventually..I think it is easier to do it electronically and make old school physical media people like us suffer. Some feel that cd and such are not needed, but you can't sign electrons and it is to hard to save and keep track of all the digital media for artwork and other things like that in a phone or computer. Heck, even DPA have album collections. Besides, one mistake or virus and it is all gone. We just have to be patient and not "caught up in the rush".

The "label" has no creative control of The Warning music, none at all. Their contract states that they have 100% creative control. They have been given production advice but it is their decision to put it to practice.

I have not even heard one second of the new song because I have no spotify account. But the reason I support The Warning is because I want them to develope their art, indepently even from the expectations of their fans, following their line. In the one and a half year of my support it is alway facinating, despite they are very young, how confident they are in their decisions. Art is an individual skill and meets an individual recipient, it is not a competition. I love their way, I love their music and I am looking forward to the next step of their artistic developement.

What I heard so far of the official snippets we got. The music is over produce. What we heard the other day at the rehearsal was clearly a band NOT ready to tour. Martirio at the rehearsal sounded average. That Pau knew it wasn't good. I believe David over produce these girls just from the snippets we heard (Martirio & Woke). Seen this act before. You've got to look at the big picture. The key to music today is streaming numbers. If they give us digital downloads, they have no way to measure how many times it was listened to. Especially at this point in time, that metric is crucial. You can listen to Spotify through a browser on a PC. No app to download. Just create a free account using a throw-away email address. I don't get overly spammed by them. I created a Spotify account the day after I discovered them back in 2018. I don't always use Spotify, but when I do, it is playing The Warning.

Marty, thing is, there's a way to, and not to say things. Like it or not, this isn't the time and forum for voicing what you did. The likelihood of this snippet being very commercial is extremely high. The label quite probably had a strong say in what is being released along with the DPA team. It will have been chosen to create interest, curiosity and suspense. To leave people asking questions. That said, looking at the diversity of their previous albums, the likelihood of the entire song, never mind album, being the same is minimal. TW3 is part of an evolution, growth and development. The snippet is most definitely a huge step forward in their journey, regardless of whether or not it's to your tastes. Commend them on their growth, love what they produce, but if you wanna be family, then learn how family behaves, how they support and build up, not try destroy.

Had a chance to listen properly in my studio just now, to sit down, wind up the volume, close my eyes and just listen ... it's most definitely different, their musical growth hits you smack in the face, absolutely dying to hear more ... beyond that, at a loss for words for now ... FWIW - the difference between listening on AirPods / Headphones / Phone / iPad etc and on a system with real bass is absolute night and day ... DPA absolutely comes to life in those lower frequencies ... those floor toms, Ale and her mad bass and those low driving guitars carry everything so well.

I don't expect to see negativity in Patreon where avid supporters of the band are paying a fee to support them and share their journey. If there is one thing these three have shown is integrity, both in business and in their craft. They bust their asses to grow, and develop the music THEY want to share. It may sound a little different than it did in the past, but that should be expected as they grow. Musicians grow and evolve. Each album is a chapter. They don't need to keep spewing the same chapter over and over. You want to come into Patreon, where the most avid supporters are and call them sellouts after you heard a 22 second clip. Now you have the audacity to try to play the victim here? Wow. Just wow! You should have known that a remotely negative comment would get some push-back. Knowing what I know about this band, calling them sellouts is just about the worst thing you could say, especially before you hear the entire production. I get it if it doesn't grab you. Not every song hits everyone the same way. There is a time and place to express opinions. This is not the place to share that opinion. If you think it is, then well, just bless your heart.

Non sono un esperto di produzioni non so se questo sia difficile da riprodurre dal vivo ma sono tranquillo, ho grande fiducia nel loro talento e nelle loro capacità musicali. Il loro concerto mi è piaciuto molto, soprattutto Martirio, la nuova versione è diversa da quella originale che mi piaceva molto ma questa nuova mi piace ancora di più, secondo me ha reso a canzone più potente. Comunque la preferenza di una versione piuttosto che di un'altra rientra nei gusti personale di ognuno di noi. Ho fiducia nella loro nuova musica, le ragazze non ci hanno mai deluso!

Certainly, and even in that light there have been some magical artist/producer combos... immediately an example is The Beatles. Such RARE chemistry does wonders. You're right. I just spent a bunch of time with You Tube, The Warning concert on a good-sized TV & playing through a good-sounding stereo 😃 That was fun 👍👍

First time I heard of “Wall of Sound” was when talking about Phil Spector, he had a style of producing that became known as the wall of sound. He produced the Beatles “Let it Be” album amongst many others. In no way do I know that much more than that, just thought I’d add that in.

Sound quality is way beyond anything I've heard before, and that's on my basement system. Now that I know I can cast from my tablet, I can play it on the main system with much beefier mains and a much more potent subwoofer. Unfortunately, that's still going to mean the audio path will be going from the TV to the receiver, and that compresses rather badly. When the real thing comes out, I will hopefully be able to play it losslessly. "Wall of sound" is definitely what came to mind from this. That sounds like no trio that I've heard before. There was a lot of echo in the voice that I've never heard them use before, and Dany's voice sounds very, very heavy. A real sense of British Invasion. It will be very interesting to hear the released track.

You know if you are a wee bit older maybe the appreciation for The Warning has a certain 'thing', for you, because of how it's viewed by us & the references we have. It is a refreshing, yet innovative sound. "Sound & Feel". Interesting what others hear & say that is similar to my sense, too. Way back, and then add David into the mix, TW made me think of Brit invasion, The Beatles, The Who, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, The Stones & now, production unheard in years... David opened the door on some bizarre new old school work. This is SO exciting❗ I am so keen to see it received by younger Folks in this lifetime... will be twice witnessing such a phenomenom.

I'm one of those semi-older types. I'm very slightly older than the sum of DPA's ages combined, and my sense is just about the same as yours -- refreshing yet innovative. They have a classic sound that's comfortable to the ear trained in 1960's-1980's rock while adding something new on top of it. The vocals suggested to me that on a different track they'd have an almost Maidenesque sound, but I can't say that they remind me specifically of Iron Maiden or any other particular band. They remind me more of the second invasion than the first, with their much harder edged sound Having a first class producer like David Bendeth who grew up steeped in this music is surely helping them achieve their musical goals. His reputation appears to be that of pushing artists very hard without trying to impose his vision over theirs, and that's exactly what I think a band like TW needs this early in their career. I played the snippet to my wife and she also commented that the sound was absolutely spectacular.

I managed to play it on my main system by casting it from my tablet. Sound is certainly very good, but I'm not sure whether my amplifier settings were right, since the audio path goes through my TV which I know does not provide the best sound quality over the CEC channel. I'm operating blind, since when the TV is in a mode where it will accept the cast I can't see the amplifier settings. Maybe I can route it through the Blu-Ray, which routes both video and audio through the amp so I can adjust the amp on the fly. Otherwise, have to wait for the real thing. Also have to note how much more powerful Dany's voice is. It's hard to say for sure from one small sample, but I was hearing something I haven't heard before. Dany must have been doing an enormous amount of work on her singing, which has certainly been a point of focus in a lot of the Dany Day sessions. Update: no luck routing it through the Blu-Ray. I think that until I can get an uncompressed flac or whatever I won't be able to listen to it properly. Too much fool processing in the signal path.
