A VERY Important Update Regarding My Channel (Patreon)

So, here we are again. Some of you may remember my previous update post, where I said I didn't know what the future holds for this channel. I still don't, but at least I've made plans. I'll try to keep it brief.

I'm simply burnt out. All the effort I've put into my videos has gone nowhere, and making new videos has become just a chore. I haven't had any fun making videos for the past 2-3 months.

I had initially planned to quit Youtube because of this, but decided against it. I didn't want to throw away everything I'd built up over the years, and I didn't want to rule out the possibility of ever making videos again.

Therefore, I'm going to enter what I call "energy-saving mode". I am not "retiring" or "going on a hiatus" or whatever other Youtubers say.

What does this mean? Well, I will continue making videos, but entirely at my own pace. I might release three videos in one month, or one video in three months, or one video in a year, or maybe nothing at all. I will make no plans, give no promises, and create no ongoing series. I'll just do whatever I want, whenever I want it. Don't ask me if I'll make videos about a particular topic either.

As for the videos, I will heavily scale back the effort I put into them. They'll likely be unscripted, less streamlined, and contain close to no editing. So no fancy thumbnails, animations, pop-ups, subtitles or anything of the sort (unless I want to). Think of videos like my Resurrection of Evil ramble or the one I made about memories and Doom. The time between conception and release will be around 1-2 days instead of 1-2 weeks.

On top of that, my Patreon has also been shut down. You can still support me on there if you like, but as of right now, you will get no rewards for it. All videos release at the same time for everyone.

Note: If you're already a patron, you're still being charged for the old amount! You can join the new tier to set your own price.

I've also recently locked down my Discord server. You can no longer join, and I'm going to purge inactive members. As it only concerns those who are still on there, more news will follow on the server itself.
