While the first guy did try to help at first, he ended up running away and quitting instead of actually telling the truth and trying to do more which is why the ghost, wraith, whatever you want to call it of Clarence killed him

One parent standing by while their partner beats their kid is sadly a normal thing, same with kids having an active imagination to cope with trauama, hes not crazy, just traumatized. The teacher came to his house because he suspected his student was being abused and wanted to try to help. I dont understand why you see someone trying to help a kid as weird. How does a bird pooping on his shirt qualify as HIM being unproffesional, its literally out of his control. I dont understand how the monster aspect is confusing, its a child and children have active imaginations. The cops realistically wouldnt do anything, there are many many examples of police siding with abusers

Why are you constantly going on about how unrealistic it is? Its literally a horror movie with supernatural elements, of course its unrealistic. Slaver owners killing slaves afyer the civil war definitly happened.

The story of Walter reminds me very much of my childhood growing up in the mid 90s although I was born in 1990, I went through much of the same thing that the kid Walter was growing through. It's a sad, but satisfying story.
