The character DeMarco who got killed at the beginning of this movie is played by Jason Isaacs. He is from Harry Potter who played the character named Lucius Malfoy. The man named Stick who is also blind uses the technique Kimagure to revive Elektra after she is killed by Bullseye in the Daredevil movie. Kimagure is an ancient martial art that gives its practitioners the ability to control time, see the future, and resurrect the dead. After Elektra got resurrected, it gives her abilities such as precognition (visions of the future), the ability to resurrect the dead, and enhanced combat skills. Also, she can do astral projection/telepathic communication. That's quite the superpower. In the comics, Stick is a blind martial arts master who trains Daredevil and Elektra, acting as their mentor and father figure. When Elektra has a nightmare that wakes her at 2 in the morning, the medication she has is to help her sleep. Elektra was horrified when she discovers the targets are Abby and Mark and this breaks her emotionally. The reason that she tossed the keys into the bush in front of her house is rejecting her old life. Throwing the keys away is her way of saying that she can't go back to the person she was. She's no longer returning home to resume her routine as an assassin and she's emotionally committing to protecting Abby and Mark. The primary villains are members of The Hand, a dangerous ninja organization. Main villains: - Kirigi - A powerful Hand assassin and the central villain. - Typhoid also known as Typhoid Mary - A deadly assassin whose touch poisons and kills. - Stone - A super-strong enforcer for the Hand. - Tattoo - An assassin who can animate the animal tattoos on his body (eagles, wolves, snakes, etc.). - Kinkou - A Hand warrior aligned with Kirigi. The ninjas who vanish in a green flash and puff of smoke are supernatural beings tied to dark magic. They are not normal human assassins and they are presented as supernaturally enhanced ninja agents of The Hand. The green smoke and flash is meant to show that their bodies are magically created or enhanced and after their death, they leave no trace of dead body. Longer prayer beads are used in Buddhism, Hinduism, and some forms of Shintoism, such as the Japanese Buddhist mala, which often has 108 beads and can feature counter strands. These longer beads, sometimes called japamala or mala, are used for counting recitations of mantras or prayers, helping practitioners focus on the words themselves. Elektra wearing red outfit while holding a Sai weapon is like in the comics which is super cool. Towards at the end, when Kirigi kicks at Elektra, Kirigi wasn't using a force field. The effect was a stylistic way to show his supernatural speed and near-inhuman fighting prowess, not an energy barrier or projection. There's no Abby movie unfortunately. Thank you so much for watching and reviewing this movie and I'm glad to hear that you liked it. I'll look forward to see Fantastic Four (2005) reaction next month.

Just letting you know, there is also Daredevil series (2015) which is part of MCU and the actor who played as Matt Murdock/Daredevil is Charlie Cox. There are 6 Marvel series that originally aired on Netflix before the series were moved to Disney+ which are Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Punisher, and The Defenders. These shows are known as Marvel Netflix series/The Defenders Saga. This is the Defenders Saga chronological order in the MCU timeline: DaredevilĀ Season 1 Jessica JonesĀ Season 1 DaredevilĀ Season 2 Luke Cage SeasonĀ 1 Iron Fist SeasonĀ 1 The DefendersĀ SeasonĀ 1 The Punisher SeasonĀ 1 Jessica JonesĀ SeasonĀ 2 Luke CageĀ SeasonĀ 2 Iron FistĀ SeasonĀ 2 DaredevilĀ SeasonĀ 3 The PunisherĀ SeasonĀ 2 Jessica JonesĀ Season 3 The Defenders (2017) show is another part of Daredevil's story before the events of Daredevil Season 3. In the MCU release order, Daredevil Season 1 started after Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) which is the 10th MCU film. In the future, I will request Daredevil Season 1 (2015) reaction next year when we get to Ant-Man (2015) which is the 12th MCU film.
