This trilogy was such a nostalgia to revisit and Tobey Maguire did great playing as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. From the first movie reaction at 58:57 timestamp, Stan Lee also made a cameo appearance during the attack by Green Goblin. From the second movie reaction at 1:48:49 timestamp, when Mary Jane left the wedding and while she was running through the park, on the right side of the screen, I think I saw Thomas Jane (the actor who played as Frank Castle/The Punisher from The Punisher 2004 movie), but it's actually not Thomas Jane. The symbiote is actually Venom. While attached to Peter, it enhances his powers and creates the black suit, but it also amplifies his anger, ego, and darker impulses. That's why Peter starts acting more aggressive and selfish during that part of the film. Eventually, Peter realizes the symbiote is changing him for the worse and manages to remove it. After that, it bonds with Eddie Brock, who in this version is a rival photographer working at the Daily Bugle. Eddie already hates Peter after Peter exposes him for faking photos, so when the symbiote attaches to him, it feeds on his negative emotions and turns him into Venom. Venom's weakness is high-frequency sound waves and fire. The questions you asked about Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane: The confusion is from the fact that Spider-Man's story has been told many different ways, and each version chooses a different part of his life to focus on. Mary Jane is a comic book character, not just a movie character. In the original The Amazing Spider-Man comics, Peter Parker's first love is Gwen Stacy. Later, Mary Jane Watson, usually called MJ, becomes much more important. She starts off as a more carefree character but gradually develops into Peter's main partner, and in many versions of the story, she's the one he ends up with long term. The reason for this change is that Gwen Stacy dies in a very famous and emotional storyline, which changes Peter a lot as a character. After that, MJ becomes the central romantic figure in his life. The movies don't retell the entire comic timeline from start to finish, so they choose different parts to adapt. In Spider-Man 3 and the rest of Tobey Maguire's trilogy, the story focuses almost entirely on MJ, treating her as Peter's main love interest from the beginning. Gwen Stacy appears briefly, but she isn't central. In contrast, The Amazing Spider-Man movie and its sequel focus on Gwen Stacy instead. Those films are inspired by the earlier era of the comics, when Gwen is Peter's primary girlfriend. MJ technically exists in that version of the story, but her role was removed from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, so she never becomes important there. Shailene Woodley was cast as MJ in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Both Gwen and MJ are important characters in the original comic story, just at different times in Peter Parker's life. Each movie series chooses which relationship to focus on. Thank you so much for watching and reviewing Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man trilogy.

Mal, you do understand that Eddie was just blaming Peter for something that he did to himself right, he ruined his own career. He stole Peter's photo and try to frame him for a crime he didn't commit and tried to upstage him and steal his job.
