Before development on the next game really kicks off, I figured it would be a good idea to first ask you guys' opinion. So this month's poll question is:

"What setting do you enjoy the most?"

I know there are a lot, but let's keep it simple for now. Which of these settings do you want the next game to take place in?

  • Fantasy medieval

  • Modern / near future

  • Modern with fantasy elements (magic, elves, etc.)

  • Sci-fi

Let me know your favorite! I'm quite curious and it might impact the direction I'm taking the next game in.

I like the kinda setting that CMW has. Modern day, but the mythology of the old in this world

Keaton

Elves and catgirls!

Oof that’s a hard one futuristic sci fi is nice but medieval fantasy do be a classic that’s hard to beat

Modern day with fantasy elements is essentially CMW. While people like it, I feel you'd essentially be making CMW again with a slightly different setting. Medieval fantasy is common. Sci-fi I feel is the rarest setting on the list. Most copy sexy aliens from various established famdoms (Star Wars/Trek, Mass Effect) or are clones of fantasy races (elves, cat/wolf girls) but few game creators decide to get truly creative and design their own. Personally, I'd love to see something that breaks a few molds out there.

I love all of these settings, but 3 out of four of them you have kind of done with your previous games. Trying something different with a medieval game would be awesome.
