Looking at the body shape and markings, this pretty much confirms that Kelp's kit is definitely Egret. If so, that definitely explains his attitude toward Trout after the assassination attempt, when he attacked Skua despite the fact that he wasn't supposed to. "Bah. The princess will be okay, it's not so bad..." I'd be willing to bet anything that he saw an opportunity to hurt one of the kits who "stole" his mom and took it.

Okay, I think I can see why Egret was so apathetic about Sturgeon caring about the Krill Plan going awry. This guy has never Once felt genuine Motherly/familial love...He was WLB's equivalent of a foster kid being treated like a temporary paycheck 😭😭
