also find it super interesting that both between this page and the next a majority of the daisys don’t even seem angry to see him there, either curious or just dgaf. just confirms what tusk said abt bluegill trying to scare hake about the bonecrunchers hunting him, it was probably more like “?? what’s the prince doing out here at night” but it’s not their business and any daisy who wasn’t already on the beach obv didn’t wanna get involved with the family so. they aren’t gonna get involved

I do have to wonder who was even responsible for originating/spreading the 'Hake the Fake' taunt amongst the Daisies, considering that the Family and the Daisies have had minimal interaction with one another up to this point (and especially while Hake was a kitten/adolescent and first figuring his identity out). Something tells me it probably wasn't a Daisy who first decided to put that awful name out there...
