I’ve got a feeling Egret already knows Kelp is his mother. Especially with Sturgeon saying “Lies are not kind” back when his foster mother left. I’m sure sturgeon had already told him the full story. He probably doesn’t fully care at this point because he’s a grown adult who’s already lived out the daisy life. Doesn’t care for some “happy reunion” 🤷‍♀️

He sure does. Either way if he's not downright mean, I don't see him care. Kelp might care about losing her children, but he probably wouldn't want anything with Family members, former or not, especially after he already lost a mother, basically twice.

Has he really ‘lived the Daisy life’, though? I mean, he’s obviously not part of the Family, but he looks significantly more well-fed than any other Daisy does. I wouldn’t be surprised if Sturgeon has kept him sheltered from many of the hardships of being a Daisy.
