he's being so stinky but honestly i can't pretend i would act much better... imagine getting tasked with taking care of several former members of the royal family you've resented your whole life and one of them keeps asking weirdly personal questions about your troubled upbringing that you're probably not keen on talking about. we the audience know kelp has completely innocent intentions and just wants to learn more about her son she thought was dead this whole time, but to egret, she is a nosy (and, until now, systematically privileged) stranger asking him uncomfortable questions about his presumably complex relationship with the only family he has
