I think one of the reasons why I (and many others) love Sturgeon so much despite her wrongdoings is that she takes FULL RESPONSIBILITY for what she has done, and has done everything with the intention of making things better. Compare that to Trout, who decided to help the Daisys mostly due to Sturgeon's influence, then became focused only on taking care of herself, no matter the cost, sobbing and acting like she has no other choice and is the only victim who matters while condemning so many others to death.
