This is almost certainly unintentional (since Krill is more likely just super dense and pissy about losing), but considering that he seems stuck on this topic, it does raise some questions for me about a deeper underlying implication. I dunno, I guess I just relate to the idea that Krill is 'inexplicably' jealous that Hake ‘gets’ to transition, because whether consciously or not, he sees *himself* as being unable to do the same.
