A little glimpse into the family tree, snapper and krill’s mom are siblings! And I think kelp’s implying snapper is trans too?

Ooh, I'm guessing Aunt Snapper is the orange tabby who was walking with Thresher back on page 941! I'd like to know more about her, too - anyone who is 'close' with Thresher in any capacity (even in a strictly-business relationship) must have an interesting story behind them. EDIT: Also, I forget - did we see Snapper being assigned as his Lionheart earlier in the comic? Just curious if this was pre-established, or if this is hinting at some newer circumstance that would require Thresher to supplement Auklet's manpower.

PJ

this is first brought up in chapter 17 — auklet steps down as thresher's lionheart (after getting his ass beat in a daisy ambush) because he is getting old and doesn't feel he can protect him anymore, but thresher promotes him to be an advisor instead. on page 437, auklet suggests that thresher make snapper his new lionheart because she beat him in a spar once. we later see snapper accompany thresher and auklet on a patrol in chapter 26 on page 662, and she makes an appearance in modern times when helping gull tend to trout's injury (chapter 19, pages 460 + 462) and she has a speaking appearance when she greets trout after she leaves her den for the first time in chapter 23 (pages 570 + 571)

Ah, I knew I'd seen her name come up before! I didn't realize she was still alive, either - I wonder if she'll become relevant again, or if that was just a little cameo. Thanks for the detailed info o7
