I'm a bit concerned on how Auklet is going to die. We don't see him in Prologue, nor any of the chapters in the beginning. I'm thinking either he eats poisoned prey with Thresher, to ensure his death, as well as making sure Sturgeon doesn't get found out (plus, he is probably living in guilt and fear for his whole life, due to his brother, so he probably wants a way out) OR, he takes the fall for poisoning, gets killed by his own brother, or sent out as tribute for The Tide.
