The recent poll I ran showed that, although most of you don't seem to mind how often I use Zoey for my animations, quite a few of you would like to see some more variety.

So I made a quick little test animation with Daphne Blake from Scooby Doo. Model made by Redeyes.

I know vanishing clothes is a very basic ENF scenario but I think it is good to start simple when animating a new character.

Believe it or not, but the reason I stick to Zoey so often isn't simply because I am obsessed with her, but it's because other models often come with some quirks and drawbacks that can make animating them difficult or more time consuming.

The Daphne model here has a fair share of technical issues that make me hesitant to want to make something more complex with her.

For starters, animating her face is very tedious as unlike with other models, I have to move her facial muscles one at a time manually as opposed to having simple flex controllers for facial expressions.

She is also extremely tall for some reason. Here's how tall she is compared to Alyx:

I run into these kinds of issues with models more often than I would like.

Technical details aside, I'm attaching the video below along with some bonus videos as well of her dancing and hula hooping. The bonus videos are meant to loop.

I hope you enjoy and please let me if this format of making simple disappearing clothes videos for new character models is something I should continue on.

I have a Velma model as well. She also has the same technical issues as the Daphne model, but if there's enough interest I might do a similar video with her as well.

UPDATE: Added fade out to the sound at the end. I also made an EUF variant

I can see how it'd be annoying to work with a model like that but you pulled it off well.

Thank you! It was definitely quite frustrating working with the facial expressions.

Those were great! I’m sorry that the model was annoying to use. Knowing now that your Zoey model is more user-friendly than others puts things in better perspective. Despite the technical challenges, I think you did an amazing job on these Daphne clips and would love to see Velma as well!

I think it's a shame because I think the Daphne model looks really nice. If it weren't for the technical issues I would love to do more with her. I think I will do Velma as well but she's made by the same person and has the same quirks so I'll probably use her very sparingly as well.

I fully get what you mean about other models having more complexities to them. That's why I don't use certain models anymore either. Great work with her though!

It's especially sad when the model otherwise looks really nice and well made. It is often the case for SFM that the model was just ported straight from another program or engine without any adjustments that make it suitable for the Source Engine.
