From what I heard Discord is used for things ranging from gaming to... Leaking... Classified military documents (oh War Thunder fans)... Sounds fun! Whatcha' thinking of doing?

Haven't decided anything yet but I may move some future posts to discord to (ironically afer what you said) "leakproof" them a bit. It's just one of my options.

So... You leaving Patreon in favor of Discord? Or just "widening the market" where we can find your stuff :0?

I've got my own discord account but don't really use it much, though if there's plans to have exclusive posts there that can change. ;)

I'm admittedly not sure how moving some posts from behind a Patreon paywall to a private discord server could leakproof them more than they already are though, unless there's been a problem of someone leaking your Patreon posts already?

It would add an extra step and it'd help a bit, but it'd be admittedly annoying, there's no perfect method for it, sadly. I'm still figuring out what to do.

I’ve seen it work well for other comic artists. The trick seems to be to open it to everyone and then have channels only for Patreon subscribers for stuff like rough sketches and concept art
