It is CATASTROPHIC to me that there’s two days until tour and she’s said nothing. (Patreon)

I logged on today and was like all right time to talk to the girlies and the snakes let’s see what is going on!! And the answer is : nothing .  Nothing is going on. Crickets. Silence.

This is obviously the calm before the storm. But it is FUCKING bizarre to me she’s saying less now than she did during REPUTATION and the entire theme of Reputation was there being no explanation. Maybe she feels she doesn’t really need to promote the highest grossing tour ever of all time (speaking in hyperbole I actually don’t know if that’s true but it’s made a ton of money)? Maybe she just doesn’t like saying anything anymore? Maybe she’s purposely being silent to build up the element of surprise? Maybe she feels if she posted anything the comments would be flooded with fans talking about Ticketmaster? I genuinely have no idea. I just find it strange. 

Maybe when tour starts she’ll start being more active. Ive definitely never been a fan to force her to engage with social media because it IS shite for celebs and I know that, especially women, but also 🥺 spare crumbs 🥺

It is SO crazy that she hasn’t said anything …. I literally keep forgetting that tour is in 2 days because we haven’t heard a peep from the blondie herself. I guess she doesn’t have to do promo because it’s literally completely sold out?? but still SO odd that there hasn’t been one single post….. are you guys gonna post a reaction to the set list and everything after opening night?

It's truly bizarre to me. As she herself says, she loves her fans, the fans have put her where she is today, and says she loves touring and misses us---yet we hear nothing! lol I'm beginning to wonder if this is the beginning of the end of her as a traditional popstar. She'll finish the rerecords, but once that's over maybe it will be just dropping music from now on with nothing else, because it doesn't feel, imho, that she really enjoys this anymore. And that's totally fine, but makes me a little sad.

Yes I totally agree. During REP she was way more active. And you know how she posted a pic after each show on the tour of the city she was in. I wonder if she gonna do that agian for this tour.

I guess it’s on brand with the rest of the Midnights era for her to be silent? It does make me wonder what it’s going to be like after the rerecords and tour are done and it’s (probably) back to a more traditional release schedule. Is she withdrawing from publicly speaking now so that it softens the blow later?

she has been sooo quiet. I do think it’s the anticipation for this tour and the Ticketmaster situation.. she’s probably just nervous to see how everything pans out… I am so hungry for any content though and I’m sick of the generic posts from Taylor nation.

Since Taylor doesn't allow comments, correct me if I'm wrong, I hope the reason she hasn't posted is just for anticipation and eventual surprise. I think she'll post the day before or of.

I thought by now we would get those cute videos of the stage and photos she did in Rep but I know that there were many people expecting the reputation tour to fail and maybe she thought some promo would be good, especially because she didn't do interviews at that time. I think she's not saying anything now because she doesn't want to get overexposed. We've received a lot of content from her recently with midnights and everything she does becomes an article headline so maybe that's why she's silent. There are so many articles about the Tour even when she's silent. Glendale Mayor is changing the name of the city for tour.

I know that I’ll be attacked for this but, I fear that she’s done talking to us in the ways that she used to. This era is proof enough. Her last attempt at being “public” was the "lover" era and then she disappeared. She did release albums, but it wasn’t the same as before. Something shifted in 2020/2021. I’ve noticed because I love to connect patterns, and she wasn’t the same. She only seems to do interviews when it comes to films and that makes me wonder if she’s done releasing music for a while. Of course, there’ll be re-releases but no new content for a while. The film alone will take a long time to be directed. I don’t want to be selfish, since she’s human too, but it makes me miss the old days. I’m in my early 20’s so I haven’t been with her since the very beginning, but from what I’ve seen, she interacted with us completely differently back than( I'm a regular fan since the RED era and joined completely somewhere in 1989 and reputation eras. )Maybe it’s because of gen z(my generation) since they disect her every move on tiktok or maybe it’s because of gaylors, but now, it truly seems that the old Taylor is dead. My generation even ruined our fandom in a way. They joined the fandom in the folklevermore era, and seem to think that the era's tour will be full of sad songs. Boy are they in for a treat. Even Taylor seems to please them by inviting Gracie Abrams to be her opener- tiktok seems to love her. But it makes me worried that they’ll lash out after opening night, even though they don’t honestly know Taylor and that this tour is the greatest hits tour and not a tour of folklore and evermore.

the only thing that would make sense to MEEE is that she is ab to do an all out media blitz w speak now tv and the eras tour starting at the same time & due to previous trauma, her greatest fear now is being overexposed.

I saw someone on twitter say she might drop all the new tvs as an eras collection box set.. all at once. I feel like that would be too insane.. but also… kinda fun chaotic energy as well 🤣 buuuut really I don’t think she’ll do that because she wants to make that coin from the releases to become a billionaire - but if she proves me wrong I’ll love it 😂

I have a theory that she'll drop Speak Now TV and 1989 TV DURING tour to help make the later shows special. Like she'll perform vault tracks from those re-records at the later shows. And then the same thing for the eventual international dates but with reputation TV

the way she’s silent before everything these days is just …. getting so old…. like… be excited, be a lil cringe, open the door just a crack. considering all the drama around tickets and how much people have paid, it doesn’t hurt to acknowledge you’re alive and it’s happening!! feels like we’re sitting around waiting for a text from some emotionally unavailable dude these days

this is like unrelated but i HATE how dramatic international fans are being. im from australia, and every day i see some variation of "still no international dates im going to cry!" esp on like people saying "im so sad i didn't get us tickets" and someone in the comments will be like "WELL AT LEAST YOU HAVE DATES!!!" like... shut up? it's not like taylor WON'T tour internationally, and she's probably sorting out the ticketing fiasco so it's not as terrible the second time around. be patient for once in your life PLS

Completely aware that being a fan of Taylor is very much parasocial relationship and there's no real reason why we should have access to her life or anything she does not want to share but man I do miss even the crumbs we used to get. She feels very distant, which is perfectly reasonable for her to want, but it is somewhat sad to feel it's the end of the era of her interacting with fans. In terms of tour I don't know why she's so quiet when in the past she's been so publicly excited about embarking on tour and I'm sure she definitely is excited but I miss seeing her earnest enthusiasm on social media! Anyway Taylor while you did in fact teach us there is a time for silence and a time for waiting your turn, please hurry up and (drop) Speak 🗣️ Now 🗣️

It's strange to me is that a part of the fandom REALLY seems to think that she'll drop Speak Now before tour. But at this rate I doubt we'll get anything. I guess she doesn't HAVE to hype tour so she won't? So sad... Still looking forward to going and hearing more about the setlist ect.

It’s just a bummer because the concert already got less hyped because of the ticket mess and she posted her statement in a story and that’s basically the last true peep we have heard from THE Taylor Swift imo and that even wasn’t good enough for me in terms of addressing the tickets so I’m still kind of mad at her so I’m waiting to see how this first show goes cause I know other people have got to feel the same way 👀
