Hearing Taylor say that she loves a song that I’ve loved for so long and thought that she forgot about, or didn’t care about it as much, or just never wanted to play…. like she loves SBT soooo much 🥹🥹🥹🥹 as she should. One of her most underrated songs ever. Deeply beloved!!! Really special!!! SBT was doing folklore before folklore was even a thought in her brain. 

I loovveee SBT so much and I’m so disappointed I wasn’t there but still so happy to hear her talk about it like this!!

She really has no song like SBT in her discography… it’s so unique and I without a doubt think she took inspiration consciously from SBT for folklore… maybe hoax is a close sister but SBT isn’t as abstract… the bridge is one of her best ever… AND IT’S SELF-WRITTEN girls lest we not forget!! Such an underrated bridge. Its a wonderful song. Hey Zach question (unrelated ) for your expert swifty knowledge brain. I just heard a theory that Anti-Hero second verse about her “narcissism disguised as altruism” is really making fun at her climate change / plane emissions. I had never heard this before, and I thought it was BS. But this person on social media is saying a lot of people think this is her poking fun at her emissions. What;s your expert opinion?

TBH, SBT was always a skip for me- too sad and there is something about the speed of the strum on that track that doesn’t match the mood. But to hear it live was amazing. Can’t wait for this concert video.
