It def was heard getting soundchecked, full band!!! the thing I cant fucking figure out is why 😭😭 likkkeee as a surprise song yesss girl play it !! putting it on the SETLIST ?!?! I suspect bc a white man who will not be named (AARON) will be in the audience and that seems like a song they collabed on that he’d be like omfg I love this song!!!! So perhaps he requested???? Good for him… my question is what’s on the chopping block to make room for it 🤓

It doesn’t fit in the Midnights set at all. So where is it going??? Soon we shall see….

I’m here!! Excited to see.

Lisa Hurley

Oouuuu maybe she’ll cut mastermind!

RiLee Andros

as always i am SEATED for the livestream tonight. can’t wait to find out 👀

abby

madeline its sinking…. as we speak its sinking and youre on patreon….

Leslie

Maybe she'll do it in place of one of the surprise songs but with Aaron and the band? Like she's done with special guests on other tours. I can't imagine it being a permanent fixture on the setlist, it doesn't really even fit the Midnights section.

courtney

would never say this outside the patreon but there's something in the instrumental of that song that repulses me it's like when people put out those alarms that emit a frequency only cats can hear to stop them wandering into their gardens lmao ... It's not even a bad song!! I just cannot listen to the production and I'm preemptively stressed to see what she's swapping out for it 😭

Joey

it is very interesting that it will be played tonight....considering this week's events

Michaela Wagner

If she doesn’t do a speech for it I’ll fight her like if ur gonna add my least fave midnights song gimme the tea

Lance

I've heard songs being soundchecked but then not played when the real show starts before, but if it is played that doesn't mean she's still with him or anything. It's a pretty popular song amongst swifties.

Emily Sanders

If Blondie is gonna rotate the Midnights setlist then she better fking put Maroon on bc like???? WHERR IS SHE!?!? I've been waiting for the day when Taylor adds Maroon but instead she's putting The Great War on? Like are you fking kidding me? This makes me so angry🤦

Clara Mae

Interesting choice given the current circumstance … if it was a surprise song I’d be like whatever but it’s a new set list staple? SNOOZE. So many better Midnights song to play

Idrac Tom

I love the great war sm can't wait to see the performance, she could probably take out mastermind

Molly Larson

I fucking love this if it’s true

Lindsay

If she’s making swaps we need yoyok

mia

SHE CANNOTTTTT PUT IT ON THE SETLIST

Cardigan

YESSSS I love the Great War!!! But considering this week's events my heart is going to break even more

emma 🌷

this is my moms favorite song omg 😭😭

Amy

YOYOK!!!!! she knew we were gonna have mental breakdowns at the idea of that song being one and done so she made the speech beforehand about tossing out the no-repeat rule for midnights lmfao

Jade

I was at the Tampa show tonight and I’m so grateful for the two surprise songs I got 🌸❤️😭😭

Ria

Would die for yoyok. I have NEVER understood the hype for the Great War though like there’s not really a single aspect of that song that I like…no idea why ppl for ape shit for jt
