Just kidddinnggg it’s my notes app ranking of the vault songs after only two listens!!! 

Timeless - greatest song ever made …. makes the other songs look like jokes by comparison. 

When Emma Falls In Love - totally a driving song like windows down driving song. Best way to describe it. I LOVVEEE the writing on this song and feel like it’s such a familiar old school style Taylor song!! TOTALLY exceeded my expectations. 

I Can See You - not sure where to rank it yet but stuck it here…when I think about it I’m like ohhh that song is great so sexy!! But when I really listen to it I’m sorta bored, but I think it will grow on me!!!! Love the production!! 

Foolish One - this is a grower, too. I really like some things about it but I also find it a little boring at times too, I just gotta give it time to hit bc I do think it’s a sweet song etc etc just not clicking 100% for me yet 

Electric Touch - I think this song is ALMOST really good, it’s just missing a few things to be really really good. It’s missing a big epic moment I think, and that’s def something you’d expect at least from Fall Out Boy!! 

Castles Crumbling - as it stands now…the single most egregious disappointment of my lifetime. No questions at this time please… I am grieving …

1) I Can See You - Saying "we kept everything professional" and then proceeding to repeatedly declare oneself dickmatized? Relatable. 2) Foolish One - The progression from "I could see you up against the wall with me" to "Now I'm slidin' down the wall with my head in my hands" hurt my feelings and therefore I stan. 3) Electric Touch - Taylor heard Electric Feel, got horny, and broke out her thesaurus. Not bad. 4) Castles Crumbling - Not good. 5) When Emma Falls In Love - Actively bad. 6) Timeless - I cringe.

I can see you was upper tier for me, but then I saw the MV… straight to the top! 🤩🤩🤩 the imagery added an element that blew the rest of the vault babies out of the gaddam room. loved & looped playing over and over - I live. will marinate in the rest of the songs more in depth later 🤞🏻

I like Foolish One the best. Love how she sings the chorus at the end again in a lower key once she's lost her hope. Feels like a direct time capsule back to 19 year old taylor. None of the others impress me that much, but they're all OK / not bad

Everyone is scandalized that Fearless Taylor wrote that, but come on, have you seen her performance of "Put Some Sugar on Me" with Def Leppard? Have you ever been an 18 year old girl? Seriously, we know how vivid her imagination is, of course she went there, at least in her mind. And mature experienced 32 year old Taylor knew just how to deliver it. - Castles Crumbling is beautiful and painful, heart-felt, angelic harmonies. It wasn't exactly what we expected from that collab, but we'll take it. A pleasant surprise. - Electric Touch doesn't go quite as hard as I had hoped, but it's good. I was expecting something similar to their VS performance of MSKWYDITD, but it's still very catchy and I think I'll love it even more with further listens. To be fair, this is Taylor's album, not FOB's, so it makes sense that it comes across as a Taylor song with a FOB feature rather than the inverse. - WEFIL has a beautiful melody and a sweet and slightly self-deprecating message. I appreciate it even more now that she made it clear it's about Emma Stone and I've seen the clip of her answer to an interview question back in the day about who would she be if she could choose to be anyone, and she answered Emma. I love these types of full-circle fathomings. Singing it now, when Emma is married with a child, it adds a whole other meaning to "I wish I was her," especially after YLM. - Foolish One is a decent song, but I don't relate to the lyrics and I feel like we've visited this theme enough times before, I would have preferred another banger. - Timeless is sweet I guess, but it feels like a story or spoken word put to music, too many details, I don't feel like it flows as a song. Similar to Starlight but not as good, and that's saying a lot.
