I don’t know if I saw this on the discord or Twitter but there was a Twitter thread eluding somehow about Taylor being the vampire. “Girls your age know better” being used as a reference. Now I definitely don’t listen to the song that way a) bc I don’t wanna think of Taylor being the bad guy and b) I just think it’s too specific. Like Taylor is not a fame fucker, she is the fame

Sabrina

Taylor did more recently shoutout the Boygenius record

Chase

I think you would have to jump through hoops to relate this song back to Taylor. Every lyric in vampire can be traced back to one of her past relationships.Using the line “Girls your age know better” as proof is...? Olivia practically spoon fed us what the song is about, we don't have to speculate on a hidden message.

Ria

As hard as I've tried I simply cannot bring myself to care or even get the hype around Olivia. Was g4u a good song? Yes. But other than that she just doesn't have anything else to draw me in. Her writing is not like Taylors despite what other people are pushing and there's nothing else about her that makes her unique than any other pop girl. No ill wishes for her, just simply dont care

Ty

I’m intrigued by Olivia and like a handful of songs but idk “fame fucker” is a weird lyric to me, sounds weird, doesn’t make sense and none of the clean versions sound better lol

Omg I love this line. It grounds such anger for the antagonist. I think a lot of people like this but some wouldn't of course! You're right though, the clean version is good too.

Olivia is good but she's not like Taylor, as in musical sounds. She however does write like her once 'idol', which is brilliant. More good music for the industry and not just songs from Tay. So many other great artists out there with the x-factor.

Olivia has the x-factor, i agree on that but she writes like taylor???? I can see the vision in sour more than in vampire. Lets see how guts goes but for me, I don’t understand the hype for vampire. Re sabrina: yeah she doesn’t have the x factor and will never be another brittney and taylor but i love some of the writing on EICS such as because i liked a boy, decode, tornado warnings but not everyone can be that.

Also cruel summer deja vu credit issue is olivia’s owndoing. You can’t keep saying taylor is my idol thousand times over, say cruel summer was the inspiration for deja vu, “only songs i can think of (in songs association game) are taylor’s haha” (cringe if you ask me), heavily trying to merge her fanbase with taylor’s and then make pikaachu face when taylor said enough girl. I strongly think if Olivia or her label hadn’t gone this hard for taylor’s fanbase, she wouldn’t have come for her this strongly and would have rather just cried herself to sleep.OR bit more than she could chew and is now bitter.

Ria

I think Sabrina has the talent tbh…like she looks like a POP star an it girlie, she can seriously SING and her songs are such fun pop numbers. I think saying Olivia only has the it factor is really only a part of the story…she got insanely lucky like no one has seen such a successful debut album before. She also played off the drama-she knew people would be plugged in to know the gossip if she dropped a drama with famous people and then to hit it home she obviously went for Taylor’s fan base and tried to be her in general.

Chelsea

She is 100% the closest to Taylor we’ve gotten. The way my teenage sisters respond to Olivia is very much the same way my friends and I responded to Taylor at that age, too. I took them to the Sour Tour and she was also great live. I definitely think she could go places!

Madelyn

She’s good no where near Taylor also please do a guts podcast
