thoroughly enjoyed the casual conversations you guys had in this. I really appreciate madeline's point about how it pays off to care about something so deeply. I don't understand your point about the commercialization of the re recordings. The fact that the re recordings are profitable is a good thing for the music industry and for Taylor's goal of devaluing the master recordings. This is definitely a passion project that's important to her, the fact that it's profitable and has been successful commercially doesn't take away from that. I personally loved the music video, I understand why you didn't but what does that have to do with commercialization? Music videos at this point are just for the fans, they don't contribute a lot to streams or commerical appeal.

You guys are absolutely working!! Theres a reason this podcast is above and beyond entertainment wise for us all, why you guys have so many people willing to shell out money for a TAYLOR SWIFT podcast of all things. Yes, the source material is obviously gold, but what you do with it is amazing! Zach I think you started touching on a really interesting topic which I've wanted to hear you talk about for a while! About how there is a lot of misogyny aimed at female fans and lack of credit to the artists they care about, yet film buffs (as an example) don't receive the same response. I've always wondered why people discredit Taylor Swift as an artist and wonder how much of it has to do with her fanbase being predominantly women/young women, the girls and the gays
