In the interest of learning how to edit audio files (a nightmare trail of tears I don't recommend to anyone) I decided to RECORD my eras tour experience in Seattle as a little bonus for you guys this month. The software I'm using I feel like sucks so if anyone has any recs for good audio editing software hmu because I need it for both THE PODCAST and THE UPCOMING LIZARD BLOG.

In any event, here's my eras tour Seattle experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keeping in mind I still have tonsillitis...lmfao. Forgive any throat clearing or cough drop sounds you may be forced to hear, I did my best on editing it all out!!

I can’t wait for the experience throat clearing and all 😀 I was also at Seattle N1 so kinda me of feel like we were there together.

anna

omg the intro is giving perfect pitch 🔥🔥😍 charlie puth who?

Phoebe Williams

I was at Seattle N2! Excited to listen to this 😊

Lisa Hurley

An HOUR of just the lizard?! We slay thank you queen 👸

Olivia Donovan

Now.. this audio might be cleaner than the podcast honestly 👀 but you are just one girlie speaking into a mic so

Kenny James

I had to drive from Portland to Seattle for the show. Normally, it takes about 3 hours to get there. Traffic was so awful Saturday it took almost 5 HOURS. We finally got to our hotel and had to immediately head to the show. Once we got there it was absolute insanity with all the people getting out of the game and all the swities piling in the stadium. It was all worth it though, show was amazing and we got great surprise songs! Wish I could have ran into you and said hi but it was wayyy to chaotic, by the time I got there I just wanted to find my seat and stay there lmaoooo.

Lexi

oh my GODDD slay queeen! thank you for this little treat 🤲🏼🍬

Rachel Lieberman

I use Audition to edit my podcasts! But Descript is also pretty amazing.

Lydia Atsma

I was at Seattle N1 too. And on your side of the stage. This was like reliving that night lol

Lisa Hurley

Me being a Canadian AND a swiftie listening to this 😬

gracie lake

so happy you got to go see tay you slayed even with tonsillitis 💅

s(l)am (dunk)

just finished listening and from this and your spaces, i just need to express, @lizard you are my exact favorite kind of girlie and i wish we could be irl friends

Lindsay

I would put Foxborough in the category of stadiums that are out there and hard to get in and out of. Nashville can join the ranks of Seattle as an easy stadium in a navigable city

Leslie

The football and baseball stadiums are right next to each other in Arlington too. Eras tour weekend was also opening weekend for Texas Rangers baseball. That area was nuts that weekend. My friends and I were laughing about the juxtaposition of swifties vs. baseball fans at the restaurant we ate at near the stadium.

briar

i’m only two minutes in so far, but lemme tell you after getting my tonsils removed, that two week recovery was one of the worst times of my life.

Autumn

Okay you went off in the intro 😂❤️

Emma Nester

i was also at eras tour seattle n1 and this made me laugh so hard because... i felt so much of this on a spiritual level. the bible thumpers outside the stadium 😭 the way something came over me and i lost my mind when the sirens started playing 😭 the horrors of SeaTac... this retelling was just too good

Kalyn

My seats for Atl night one were upper bowl side and it was great! I could see everything!

Brenda Person

Those blue jay people were out of their minds! Glitter and blue t shirts as far as the eye can see.

Brenda Person

It was SO HOT. I melted before I even made it to the gates.

KBS

OMG...the bible thumpers were SOOOO loud...and there were SOOOO many of them on N1.

aimie....

girl who is this GRANT ur speaking of in the band djsjcjdjsksks do u mean PAUL!!!! for a hot second i thought grant mickelson had come back from the dead and was shook to my very core

Brenda Person

Did you get a good view of when Taylor scared Alana during NBNC?

Little Kevin

I was at Seattle N2! It was a dream! Pls take this with a grain of salt but I got my tonsils out when I was 20 and it was truly the worst experience. I will spare everyone from the graphic details but just want to say there is definitely a reason why doctors don’t like to take them out of adults!!

Ashley C

Dude yeah fuck soldier field. I'm vegan and their website and Twitter said "yes we have vegan and vegetarian options!" I had to eat a plain pretzel and a box of popcorn. They had so many food vendors open and all of them were serving meat and there were hardly even vegetarian options for an actual meal—let ALONE vegan. Their one vegan option is typically an impossible burger and it was the one food stand that was closed at eras 🙃

Tasha Wagstaff

I also had side view in Denver and it was a serve! I loved waving goodbye to Taylor at the end of the show.

Ashley C

Okay I heard a lot of complaints from others too about exiting Soldier Field and idk what y'all are doing. It's really nice that it's a stadium in a park bc you get to walk out into the wide open park area which makes the crowd break up more easily. I found a Divvy e-bike like 10 mins after exiting and biked home for $18 (how I did this after going buck wild with no sitting or bathroom breaks for 3 hours I have no clue). My mom got on a bus to go back to her house almost immediately bc they had a caravan of them when the show let out. Getting an Uber probably sucks though so maybe that's it

Bridgitte

“i’m serving cuUunt” literally made me spit out my water 😭

Em Ev

‘You gave me your necklace and I lost it in the river’ 😂😂😂😂

Lana

Thanks for your dedication Madeline! Hope you feel better soon!

Bananies and avocadies is such a niche reference and I love every second of it

Sara Sweet

I had chronic tonsillitis for years in my adulthood, had to get my tonsils out at 20 years old. It was not too bad, but I was out of commission for about two weeks. Lots of icees and pain killers and it’ll work out. So sorry you’re going through this! It was definitley the best decision I could’ve made, happy they’re gone

Yasmin Alnassar

You keep mentioning grant , didn’t he get fired years ago 😭?

sleepy bubbles

I’m halfway through this and you are so fucking funny 😭😭😭 “bananies and avocadies” is taking me clean out

Cynthia

Such a great narrative Madeline! I listened to this while walking somewhere kind of far and I felt transported!

Angela H

Thoroughly enjoyed this - so sorry about your tonsils. 😷 I appreciated the bananies and avocadies reference more than you will ever know 💀 and I am so glad to hear someone else standing up for NBNC on the setlist - I was watching the live and I was so excited when it came on! I thought it was a fun substitution and I, like you, was surprised TTDS was the evermore opener in the first place. Anyway, 10/10 loved the review, thanks Madeline!!

KiwiKat

100% agreed that This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things was SUCH a fun and iconic surprise song. Was also not on my list but not mad at all. And also agree that NBNC makes a much better Evermore opener. I knew it was gonna be added but I also completely lost my mind when it started. Really enjoyed listening to your review and I’m glad Seattle was a good experience! I love my city and Seattle N1 was magical. 😊

kel lauren

bro swifties can NOT figure out public transit. its beyond comedy. like every aspect about it they cannot compute how to execute. the two shows ive been to (east rutherford & santa clara, two MAJOR cities) truly shocked me how incapable they are of reading the very simple transit maps (both google and apple maps will tell you how to get somewhere on public transit via their apps), the courtesy rules of boarding trains/buses, how to use the ticket terminals even though most major city transit systems take apple/google pay. its a nightmare for locals having to commute during these shows. and the worst part is they dont actually care about HOW to use it, theyre so oblivious and just exist in their own world aka the suburbs. its humiliating to be a swiftie sometimes.

Gracie

Still listening but I hear “I’m hitting the-I’m going to the restaurant” 😂 the lizard hitting a vape pen but hiding it 😭
