I think at this point the only career-ending scandal would be if some ghost writer came out and said they’d actually written X amount of songs for Taylor and was paid off. It would damage the unique brand and selling point…. but I don’t see that ever happening… 😂

Whoever asked the question about what you think she was listening to when writing Midnights, I think of one album for sure. Halsey, If I Can't Have Love I Want Power. Taylor gave a shout out to the album on her Insta in Aug 2021. She doesn't do that often. I get influence from "I am not a woman I'm a God. " and "karma is my boyfriend, karma is a god" .... I'm low key waiting for taylor's second wave of dark feminine rage and to collaborate with Trent Reznor
