Omg what you said abt horses is so true! I had a friend in high school (who I still love today 🫶🏼) and she grew up riding horses. When she was 15 her horse got spooked, threw her over it’s head and she landed face down, and then it ran over her and stomped right on her head and gave her a concussion… she’s all fine and ok now but she was out for like a year Also, for Mason and Madeline - Seattle? Would that be a potential state to move to with the water and the positive experience from the eras tour vacation?

Zack if you want gay romance songs from Troye Sivan definitely give a listen to Blue Neighbourhood. Like Madeline said it's definitely a little outdated but there are songs that might be what you're looking for from him. If you can only listen to one, I definitely suggest Talk Me Down. I wish he would go back to some of that slower more melancholic stuff.

I’m from Chicago suburbs/Chicago born and raised. There are a couple of reasons why Wisconsin and Illinois have a weird ‘rivalry’ 😂 I personally love Wisconsin, we have a lakehouse there, and honestly, Wisconsin is one of the most beautiful places in the Midwest, hands-down. Illinois sucks and isn’t pretty, but we have one of the best cities in the world, and thats Chicago. Honestly, Chicago and its suburbs are really its own state outside of the rest of Illinois. They are two totally different worlds. But ya, rivalry is mostly a football thing, BEARS vs PACKERS. Speaking of Soldier Field, was that your first show there? There is nothing like seeing a concert with the city skyline in the background, and the weather was seriously perfect that weekend. Those sunsets were killer…And when you come to Chicago, you have to eat. My grandparents have owned a Italian beef & Hot dog stand (they are passed but it’s still family ran) for 25 + years. Next time you come, stop there and we will make sure you eat! But seriously, Chicago has some of the best food in the world. Where did you get pizza from? There are a couple of hole in the wall spots that only locals know about, one of them being Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder Company, we just call it the Pizza Grinder. Also, I think it was your review of Eras episode when you refer to the Cloud Gate sculpture in Millennium Park as the Bean, and I think you wondered if that was actually what you call it or if that’s a tourist thing to call it? BUT that is exactly what we call it. I bet you maybe even half of the locals might not even realize that it’s not called the bean 😆

Childhood me can't believe I'm defending New Jersey but there are some really gorgeous and cute towns here especially in South Jersey. The pinelands are stunning too. The cities leave a lot to be desired sadly.

I’m also confused about the critical reception around Troye Sivan. He is a nytimes darling. Jon Caramanica recently talked about his experience watching a Troye Sivan live show and said it was one of those moments where he realized he was watching a massive pop star in the making. I get what y’all are saying about Troye but he WAS out during the blue neighborhood album and some of those songs were poignant. He had a video trilogy to go along with the album and it was v similar to things we’ve seen before in terms of young person finds love and homophobic parents try to ruin it, but it was really hitting when it came out in like 2015. All that to say I think he has the capability to move beyond the hyper sexual gay man stereotype. I think at this point the music he’s making is what sells tho.
