I'm late but in regards to Rene Rapp: her EP was so good, very creative and had a direction. It had the emotional one two punch. I think it was just 6 songs. Snow Angel...I wanted to love it. I wanted to so badly. She said in interviews she scrapped her original album for the new direction and I'm not sure it paid off.
