Weekly Game Dev Progress Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone, what's up! Back again for our weekly game progress sync.

First off, the script for the full game is officially sitting at 90%! Every single character has made their entrance at this point. Quick sneak peek: the final roster is set at 10 characters (including Gu Shen). Just a heads-up though, the story between Lu Ye and Lin Zhou is still the absolute core, taking up over 80% of the game. The rest of the guys are scattered across various branches and hidden paths for you to hunt down.

Plan for the next two weeks is to finish writing the rest of the story, then jump right into editing. Really hoping I can get all the revisions done before September, fingers crossed lol.

To be honest, the crazy amount of story branches is giving me a huge headache right now. Once a path splits off, it's been super tough to pull it back together. I wanted your choices to actually lead to different storylines instead of just swapping out a couple lines of dialogue, but that means things got complex real fast. At this rate, we're looking at over 20 different endings...

Another thing I’ve been overthinking lately: the upcoming plot is pretty much back-to-back H-scenes. I’m honestly a bit worried that if I throw all that heat at you too directly, it might get overwhelming and start feeling a bit numb...

Anyway, that’s where things are at! Hang tight, I’m gonna post a super quick survey in a bit. If you spot it on your feed, I’d really appreciate it if you could take a minute or two to fill it out!

大家好，我来了！ 快速同步一下本周的游戏制作进度。

首先，完整版剧情的撰写进度已经正式突破 90% 啦！所有角色都已经悉数登场。可以给大家稍微透个底：最终出场的一共是 10 位角色（包含顾深）。另外提前说明一下，陆野 vs 林舟的剧情依然是绝对的主线，占据了整体剧情 80% 以上的篇幅。其他角色则被我散落在了各种分支和隐藏剧情里，等你们去挖掘。

接下来的计划是，预计在未来两周内把剩下的剧情全部肝完，然后直接进入修稿阶段。求老天保佑我能在 9 月份之前把修订工作搞完哈哈。

说实话，目前最让我头疼的就是剧情分支太多了。分支一旦展开，真的很难收回来。我当时是希望大家的选择能真正影响剧情走势，而不是只换几句对白，但这也确实导致制作量急剧膨胀。照这个趋势下去，最终可能会有 20 个以上的结局……

另一个让我发愁的点是，后续的剧情开展基本就是以 H 剧情为主了。我开始有点担心，如果给得太直白、太密集，大家会不会反而觉得麻木了……
