FIRE & BLOOD: The Fall of Helaena Targaryen (Patreon)

SPOILERS FOR HOUSE OF THE DRAGON AND IT’S BOOK COUNTERPART FIRE AND BLOOD BY GEORGE RR MARTIN

So it hasn’t happened yet in the show but I have a feeling it’s going to happen this season, or the very least the beginning of season 3.

In the book, after the ‘Son for a Son’ incident, Helaena loses her mind in grief and guilt. And when Team Black takes King’s Landing, Helaena takes her own life by jumping out of her tower. I see her as similar to Ophelia from Shakespeare’s Hamlet so I used an Ophelia painting as reference to create this digital painting.
