Marionette issue 1 UPDATE (WIP) (Patreon)

Slowly but surely, we are getting the pages down. One thing at a time. I’m trying to put all my energy into putting down the sketches, then the final pencil, the line work, and finally the ink wash/shading/details.

I keep going back and forth about getting one page done at a time rather than spreading things out. Doing too much in one day stresses me out. So if I just focus one day on sketches, then the next on pencils, and finally the line work and shading, I feel like I won’t feel so much pressure.

My silly perfectionist brain keeps weighing me down. No one’s first issue is gonna be beautiful works of art. Seven hells, things always will look awkward in the beginning because it’s so new. But once I have a system going and I draw these characters enough times, things will look more organic and effortless.
