Made some excellent progress! (Marionette + WIP updates!) (Patreon)

I’m pushing through on the inks and text of my first issue of Marionette! I’m very pleased with myself.

As I worked on this first issue, I got a book called “How to Webcomic!” By Star Prichard (you can find them on instagram) and they suggest a “golden rule” of 100pgs. From her experience, she says that the best way to get someone engaged in your comic is to have at least 100pgs worth of content so the reader has something to digest and spark their interest in reading more. And that sounds like a good rule to follow. Judging from this first issue I’m getting through, it’s not quite enough to get someone to look forward to the next issue, only because this is more of a prologue/first chapter that sets up what is to come.Issue 2 has more of a cliffhanger with impending danger (spoiler alert lol). So I think if I finished chapters 1 and 2 at least, then I can get some interested readers and followers.
