UPDATE: New change. I updated the scale on the wings for the multipart pelican. In the original 3mf I forgot to add the torch holder piece, I just updated the file with this piece.

I’m super excited to share this new design with you: The Tiki Bar! 🍹✨⁣This fun project came together from a bunch of awesome ideas you all suggested, and of course, I couldn’t resist adding a little extra flair: an interactive catapult to launch our pelican friend into the air like a real daredevil! 😄⁣I also gave the pelican a bit of an upgrade – he’s got a new version now, even cuter and a little more mischievous.⁣For the printing details: I used 0.2 mm and 0.16 mm layer heights, with infill between 10% and 15%. So far, I’ve only done test prints at 100% scale, but if any of you try printing it smaller, I’d love to see how it turns out!⁣Hope you all have a blast with this design – and as always, share your results so we can all get inspired!

I am in the process if printing this now, one question I have is, are there directions to put this together? I am sure I can figure it out but was just curious. Disregard I watched the video, and it was perfect.

Desiree Hocker

The video shows how to assemble the catapult. The rest you can probably look at the photo and figure it out. I have started piecing it together as stuff comes off the printer and so far its very easy to figure it out.

I cannot find the flame holder on the bar either. Ive checked the files to see if it just hadn't printed but it doesn't seem to be on there... x

Sorry, I must have deleted it by mistake, I just updated the file with this piece included.

It's very easy to assemble since all the pieces are unique and fit together perfectly. The only thing that might be confusing is the catapult, and you can see how to assemble it in the attached video. Anyway, maybe tomorrow I'll post a reel on Instagram showing how to assemble it step by step.

is this something that can be added on, I've already printed the bar itself.

Greeneyes

I just put the part on a separate plate and printed it on its own. X

I love, Love, Love this Tiki Bar/Pelican Yeeter!!!!

Is there a locking mechanism for the back of the catapult? It looks like there is a slot for something but I don't see anything in the print file that would fit.

Koza Design

Yes, locking mechanism is printed in place with the Pier part, also the back of the pier works as a trigger to activate the catapult
