UPDATE. 09/08/25

Although I didn’t have any issues assembling the gargoyle parts during my tests, I received some feedback saying the head didn’t fit properly into the body. So, I made a small tweak to the body’s ball joint design, and it seems to fit much better now. I ran new print tests, and everything worked perfectly on my end. Hopefully, this update will fix the problems some of you experienced before. You can find the new files on the attachments.

Hey friends! 👋Our spooky season is officially here, and I'm kicking it off with this awesome gargoyle design!

Gargoyles aren’t just creepy decorations – did you know they were originally made to scare away evil spirits and drain rainwater from buildings? Double duty monsters!

For this design, I went full-on gothic vibes. You'll find a multicolor version, a multipart version, and even a keychain for carrying your little stone guardian everywhere.

I had a blast working on this one – it’s full of details and prints beautifully.Hope you enjoy bringing your own gargoyle to life this Halloween season!

LOVE him. He needs a little castle. And a bat would be awesome!

Love that this is out!! Are the little wings going to need supports? As the warning message comes up about floating regions and either use supports or re-orientate the object.

Koza Design

😁, No supports needed for this design

Are brims recommended for this file?

Printing now!! So excited to see it done

Koza Design

Depends, if you have a good adhesion you don't need it

Mellissa R

a dullahan for cute/spooky vibes would be awesome

Has anyone else got these printed yet and noticed that the heads don't fit on very well?? It's like the little ball is too tall for the socket, so the neck doesn't sit flat.

Koza Design

I've printed several in different scales and all them fits well. I you have some pictures of your prints you can send them to the chat app or my instagram and I will try to figure out what's going on.

My son asked if it was a dragon with abs. A simple pedestal or pillar for him to set on would be cool. These are printing with a brim for me, is that correct?

Koza Design

In fact, I will make a great house, diorama, castle or something special for him. Stay tuned. 😉

Koza Design

Not needed, maybe only a brim for better buildplate adhesion
