The two tests we did on the design came out excellent on the first try.The final design is like the one we print in wood type PlaBelow you will find both the STL file and the 3MF with which you can more easily adjust for a color print or give different values of fuzzy skin to achive a textured look. For the main body we used 0.3 mm fuzzy skin thicknessFor the heart, bubbles, butterfly, nose, eyes and flowers we do not use fuzzy skin and for the rest of the parts we use 0.1mm fuzzy skin thickness value to change the look between the parts.General Settings.0.2mm layer height5% infill (gyroid)No supports needed

How much of a time increase is it going with fuzzy skin vs regular?

And gives a nice touch to the final model

Did you use a fuzzy skin modifier on your slicer? And how do you separate the different parts out? I'm having difficulties trying to make this work.

Yes, I used fuzzy skin with Prusa Slicer. I heard Cura also have this function but dont know how it works there. In Prusa Slicer is better to use the 3MF file and import as a single object with multiple parts. In there, you just have to select the part in the right panel, right click over it with the mouse and select "add settings", then choose "fuzzy skin" and check the 3 options will be displayed. Finally, in the right panel will apear Fuzzy skin under the selected part, select it and select outside walls and skin distance of .3 for the body and .1 for the body details. I leave the flowers, heart, eyes, nose, heart, butterfly and bubbles without fuzzy skin. If you have more doubts send me a message in the instagram @somos_makers_ig. By the way, if you open the 3mf file in prusa slicer is probably its already configured

Oh this is awesome. I didnt know this about 3MF files. I use SuperSlicer so I am assuming those settings are in there too.

Really don know super slicer, can't tell you

Is there a way to make the pads on the feet, etc part of the body? I modified the Fuzzy Skin to not be on the foot pads so I could use the new PrusaSlicer emboss feature and now whenever I try and print, it just leave off some of the parts (eyes, foot pads, etc) I notice when scrubbing through the slicer it's treating them like completely different pieces, so you can see fuzzy skin under the individual parts. I love the ability to modify sections, but it would be nice if it printed as a cohesive unit. To be clear, this is definitely something within the slicing that leaves parts off. It just doesn't print some of the individual components. I have pics and a timelapse to show it's not a printer issue.

How do I make the bear fuzzy and not the items inside his stomach?

Koza Design

The 3mf format file is already configured with the fuzzy skin modifiers but you need to use Prusa slicer cause unfortunately Cura doesn't recognize them. You just need to open it as a single object with multiple parts

I printed mines with 0.2 bit I've seen others at 0.12 and looks amazing but slower
