Hello everyone!

I'm excited to share with you my latest 3D print design: Rudolph, the Christmas reindeer. This design is part of my collection called "Pals", and just like my other designs, it has a cute and tender style that I'm sure you'll love.

Rudolph is sitting down and wears a Christmas hat, making it perfect for the festive season. But what really makes this design special is what's inside: a gingerbread house surrounded by some Christmas trees and a snowman. I think this touch gives it a unique charm and makes it even more special.

In addition, I've left space at the bottom of the design to place an LED candle, as well as in its nose, to give it a very special luminous touch. I think this gives it a magical touch and makes it perfect for decorating your home during the holidays.

I've created two types of files for this design: STL and 3MF, so they can be printed in either single color or multicolor. I printed one of the samples with my 4-color AMS, changing the filament from green to red after the pines were printed, and then continuing with the hat. I also changed from brown to black to print the eyes, and went back to brown for the antlers. The materials I used are from Polymaker, so I'm sure the quality will be excellent.

I hope you enjoy this design as much as I enjoyed creating it. As always, I'm grateful for your support and look forward to seeing your 3D prints of Rudolph. Happy holidays!

James Ross

does this need supports?

Koza Design

No, it doesn't. I printed both test without supports. The brown one was printed at 0.16 and the multicolor at 0.2 mm layer height

The Creation Circus

Could you give links to the LED lights that will fit in this model? Thanks.

Koza Design

https://amzn.to/3MtA1z5 maybe this ones can work as they match the size I used. Also, one of the pictures in the post has the size of the ones I really used.

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but what is the hole for in the back of the head? Is it suppose to be like that?

Koza Design

The hole is to put a tea candle light inside to have a lightning nose

Shaun May

Hi, Im just wondering how you put a light into the house? Thanks

Koza Design

On the bottom it has a space to house the tea led candle light, same as on the nose

Shaun May

I saw the hole in the bottom, but the hole does not go into the house. There is a floor in the house. Would this not stop the light entering the house?

Koza Design

I made the design this way to avoid having to add supports to the bottom, however the center of the roof of the hole will be printed with a single layer as if they were bridges. This way you can place the candle and it will be easy to cross that wall with the tip of the candle

Shaun May

Ah i see. Thank you for explaining

Flower of the Sun 3D Prints

LOVE THIS! Any chance you could separate the hat from Rudolf so we can print the hat separately?

Aldo Gonzalez

Hello, how do you create that skin effect? I printed but it is smooth , btw amazing design. Thank you

Koza Design

i will try to do this request and update the post as soon as possible

Koza Design

Hello Aldo, thanks, Fuzzy skin is applied on the slicer, just have to import the 3mf file on the slicer and its made of several parts, you can choose which part you want the fuzzy skin and apply it as modifier. If you have doubts you can write me to my Instagram for a fast reply @somos_makers_ig

Hallo welches pla ist das was du benutzt? Is it rainbow or marshmallow?

Peter

Another amazing design. I love it! ❤️

Andre #SGD#

Wieviel infill brauch ich für die nose? Ich habe die nose in rot gedruckt aber das Licht kommt nicht richtig durch. Ist das Licht vielleicht zu schwach? 🤔

Koza Design

The nose is hollow so it does not need infill. There are also some filaments that are more translucent than others.

Cillian Irish

Printing this one for the first time. Using rainbow filament. Can’t wait
