Hey awesome Patreon subscribers!

Hope you're having a day as fantastic as my new design of a dancing gnome! 💃🏽🍄

I just dropped the bomb: a gnome that not only knows how to groove but does it in two parts! Yep, you read that right—the gnome and the base have their own dance duo. Like the dynamic gardening duo, but with a rhythm and loads of style.

This design, simpler than a mac 'n' cheese recipe, is so much fun that even fairies are lining up to get one. Picture this little dancer in your space, adding a touch of magic and movement!

Get inspired by the classic vibes of those self-balancing inflatable penguin toys. Yes, the one you always wanted, but with a magical upgrade: now it's a gnome with serious flow!

So, if you want to be the envy of the neighborhood or just add a dash of fun to your favorite corner, this design is for you. Remember, it's not just a gnome; it's a dance partner.

Thanks for your ongoing support! Without you, this gnome would never have hit the dance floor. 🎉✨

Dance and smile at the Christmas Jingles.

I forgot to add to the specs that if you have issues with buildplate adhesion for the gnome you can use a 6mm brim to solve the problem

Kids would love these!

MamaBear

Are we allowed to use your little video here? I've watched this 1000 times already lol I just love these little guys

The backs of mine broke a little at the bottom when I put the bits together, I printed with silk. Is there any way to prevent that from happening?

MamaBear

Same, mine were with Matte PLA we did Take a heat gun when popping it in, seemed to help a little.

The one I printd is a bit front heavy and he tends to fall on his face. any idea how to fix this?

Koza Design

You have to print the gnome with very low infill. and the base with high density. I printed mines with 3% grid infill or 7% lightning infill for the gnome and 70% infill for the base on grid or rectilinear pattern

GODFATHER CREATIONS

I'm having a hard time getting the base in all the way. It's like I can only get one side in. Any suggestions

Koza Design

Tolerances are very tight and if you have overxteusion or thick seams you can have issues joining them. Maybe dipping in hot water the gnome you can snap the base easier

dianne ryan

how to put in the base, Does the flat piece go to the back or the front? please

Koza Design

The base contour is equal to the bottom contour of the gnome. you must match them. the spherical part of the base goes downwards

Luba Korduba

None of mine wable. I have tried both directions inserted and another set printed and they fall over.....?

Koza Design

Reduce infill for the gnome. Make sure to print with lightning infill with a Max of 7% and heavy infill for the base for more than 70%. Also, try to make a print without infill on the gnome and 80% for the base

Steven Paquin

flat goes on the back! make ture to infill the bottom part to 70% or more to make sure they stay up!

Steven Paquin

lower the infill of the top part to 5% lightning and bottom part to 70% giroid or more for it to stay up

Stephan Richter

Hello, I'm a little bit curious they don't break with just 2 walls and at least no infill? You know kids love to throw things... I mean it's not you I don't trust...

Koza Design

For almost all the prints it's better to use 3 perimeters and 15% gyroid infill, in that way they become stronger for sure. The print settings I use to share are the ones I tested but there's always a gap for improvements.
