UPDATE 8/4/26: Inked version added. Also include his initial design I made 2 or 3 years ago. I hate it so much that I put it off for so many years ;3; (I have to change this post to 'paid access' because PP is shown)

I've been mulling over my take on Baloo design for a looooong time and here he is, finally.

One major struggle was his face. I don't want to copy his design from Disney version but I don't know how to draw bear really well, let alone a unique design for him. So I go with a 'laid back' look. I hope I convey that look with this sketch.

I still don't know if I should keep the mane in the inking process, he is an Asian black bear after all.
