next page inked. (prev page) weeoo. lots to do, lots to do. *putters around* (hm, the etymology obsessed weirdo inside of me finally had it's curiosity sated.)

i went to see Puss in Boots in the cinema yesterday. on top of constantly quietly cooing throughout the film about how cute he is in his little outfit, i found the film very entertaining! highly recommend it if you want some stupid fun.

Love the cuckqueaning. She's so happy; bless her. Hope he takes her for a walk at some point though so she can stretch Glad ya got to see Puss in Boots! I was honestly impressed at how they handled anxiety and the concept of respecting life and death, living life to the fullest but also being aware that one day we'll all perish- for a movie moreso aimed at kids I was genuinely surprised at how it played out, though I reckon all the Shrek movies have had that sorta vibe to them.

Right?? Honestly is one of /if not my favorite portrayals of that character- the fact that they were menacing and angry at Puss because of how he seemed to selfishly waste his lives, Very often that character is personified as either sweet and nurturing, cold and scary, or indifferent- but this is the first time I've seen them portrayed as a sort of hunter to those who disrespect their own life- it was super cool 🐺

right!! and i loved his visual design. so striking and interesting! his eyes were genuinely freaky at points. it's so good and nostalgic to be able to go see a kids(kinda) film in the cinema and genuinely enjoy it. just like the before [covid] times. :')
