Love the direction this anime is going! This episode was such a great way to highlight the core of who Gabimaru really is, but also how he and Sagiri share similar ideals.

Now what's going to happen once they all reach paradise is anyone's guess!

You hit the nail on the head with Gabimaru's character. He is a vicious killer but only because he is trained to be this way. He doesn't revel in killing people. Also not sure if you picked up, but the girl in purple is also a ninja and that's why she was disappointed in seeing Gabimaru look scrawny. In her village, Gabimaru is famous as she said. It would be like if Sakura only heard of Naruto being a famous ninja and then met him and see that he is kind of a goofball. Loool.

Another thing too the sexism can be triggering but I look at it through the lens of the time period they are in. The executioners mean well when they say this is not fit for a woman. To them, a woman shouldn't be beheading people but should live a simpler life. To us now, we are all for equality. Which is right. But you have to also look at the time period. And even then they still trained her and allowed her to be an executioner So it's not that they are completely against it. They just have certain views.

No I get it, but it still sucks for her cause she’s really trying. Can see she’s just not respected in her role though.

Loving Gabimaru so far! No I heard her shinobi comment lol! Gotta have a least one shinobi represented when it comes to assassins! Hahaha spot on with the Naruto Sakura analogy! You always know how to best equate to things I really understand🤣
